I loved this story from page one, you will not be able to stop reading once you start this amazing story that brings the ending to the talented author R.B. Hilliard's MMG series.
It is the story of the five couples and how their lives are going
Couple #1 is Mac and Ellie..... I have read about them from the first day it was released and they hold a special place in my heart.
Couple #2 is Gage and Piper. They are the super couple that you know will combust and burst into a million little sparks!
Couple #3 Kurt and Joss they are the foundation of the couples and have an unbeatable highschool sweetheart that lasts forever love.
Couple #4 Dylan and Isabella they are the reunited and its oh so good couple lol. They had a not so far in the past one night stand and their love is so beautiful once they get together again.
Couple #5 is Cas and Sara. They are the not supposed to be couple but their chemistry and feelings were way to strong for anyone or for them to deny.
This was the perfect ending and this series is one that I will definitely read many times.
R.B. Hilliard is one of my favorite authors and I highly recommend reading all of her amazing books.

The last book in the series. From the first book I was hooked. I binged read this series. The books were phenomenal. I loved each and every couple. I had a few favorites who did not disappoint in the end. It also gave insight to a few of the other romances you guessed at through the books. Well done can not wait for another series from this author.

Over the last few years I've followed this gang of friends from high school into adulthood. As the gang grew and with all that we went through together, I felt like I become one of them. A brilliant series and I've loved every minute. I've laughed, I've cried, I've been awake until all hours! It's been one hell of a journey.
So here we are at the end of the series. The Last Call packs a lot in as we catch up with all the characters that I have come to love. The story is cleverly interwoven between the friends moving on with their lives after the trials and tribulations they have all been put through. Full of humour and a few twists thrown in. Life hasn't always easy but they come through it together all the stronger and with a happy ever after.
Definitely one of my favourite series, one that I like to come back to when I'm in a book slump. Looking forward to more from this author.

Reviewed for 2 Girls Who Love Books

The Last Call is EVERYTHING you want in a series finally and R.B. Hilliard wrote a beautiful wrap party for all the characters she let us live vicariously through in the MMG Series! I LOVE reading a book series all together, it is like binge watching Netflix shows and it brings on the ultimate book hangover at the end! The Last Call is the fifth book in the MMG Series and you can't even begin to read it until you turn around and start at the beginning! SERIOUSLY do not even try!! BEST BINGE READ, I felt like these people were my family and friends from the beginning to the end. The MMG Series was my introduction to R.B. and I am in! I want to read EVERYTHING she pours from her soul, I am a super fan for life!

The Last Call strolls through all the characters and ties up storylines from the previous four books all into one swoon worthy read! The details in writing and the follow through of storylines was absolutely flawless! Nothing was left undone, not a detail missed. My favorite part about how RB writes is the amazing attention and thought she pours into each of these characters. The girls are feisty, strong, sassy, sexy, vulnerable and flawed. The men are HOT, alphas, HOT, selfless, HOT, protectors that dish out some toe curling sex!

I feel like I traveled a crazy, amazing journey with all of them! What started with Max and Ellison in High school came full circle in The Last Call. It makes me believe in soul mates and never ending love. Gage and Piper......I HEART Piper because I find myself being her kind of messy, beautiful, crazy! Dillon and Isabella....GAHHH, I turned into total mush for this silver eyed God, and Ibby is the perfect compliment to him! The way he loves her! Caswell and Sarah......obstacles overcome and brokenness healed. I am most impressed with how Kurt and Joselyn......the only ones to not have their own book stood so strong through this whole series. I LOVED having more of them in The Last Call, and jeesh, it felt like Joss was preggers FOREVER!!!! All of them became my friends, I felt like I was standing right there with them through it all. I laughed with them, cried and had my heart ripped out, stomped on and put back in my chest!!! I can't wait to see what RB does with the huge potential she created in the secondary characters. In the end, The Last Call did all the books before it absolute justice and I highly recommend the read!

The perfect conclusion to a series of very heart-warming angsty love stories. Do not even think about reading this book unless you've read the first four (a few times preferably. The series is THAT good!)

We see the main couple Max and Ellie, while so strong and in love with each other, struggle with a little white lie which was started with good intentions.
We FINALLY (lol) get to see Kurt and Joss enter parenthood and with such ease too!!. HAHS! Reality sure kicks in fast for them lol We get Gage and Piper who for a brief moment seem to be heading for heartbreak. Then Isabelle and Dylan seem to be at their wits end with their newborn son, as both struggle with the new dynamics of their little family. And then there's Cas and young Sara trying to have the wedding they have been waiting for only to have big, over-protective brother, Max, taking over the whole production, creating stress for the new couple.

And all that happening while they had to deal with a common pest aka Neel Garrison, Ellie's Dad and his dubious partner, and the missing Sally.

This book just reiterates to the readers the tight bond this group of friends have. They are always in each others' businesses, but always with good intentions. From the first book to this one, we see how the group rallies around each other when one is hurt, be it emotionally or physically. This book is about hope. About second chances. About commitment. About family.

Thank you Ms Hilliard for such a wonderful read. It is definitely bittersweet to read this book.

Do you know that feeling of wanting to read a book so badly but at the same time you don't want to because you know it will be the last one of the series?? Yep that's me. If super excited but at the same time I so so sad.
I must warn you that if you haven't read the other book from this series, The MMG series you can't read this one. Start that journey because you will love it as much as I did. All books are special in their own way and you will be hooked just by reading the first chapters. Trust me, been there done that.
Like I said in the beginning The Last Call is the end of this amazing journey and like I said I'm happy but I'm also sad.
In this book you will continue to know a little bit more about the lifes of Isabella and Dillon, Sarah and Cas, Ellie and Max, Piper and Gage, Joss and Kurt, Polly and Harry and Sally and oh boy what life's they had...
This entire book manage to tie up the knots that were left behind in the previous books. I loved that RB manage to get me more obsessed about this series, in a good way, of course.
The feeling that she had put in this book was so overwhelming, so intense that I'm still speechless. I want more, I really want more.
I cried and laughed at the same time.
Seriously RB I really love your writing and I'm so happy to had the chance to know you and your amazing work.
The Last Call was the perfect ending to the perfect series.

Wow!

I found this author and series by chance via another author I enjoy and actually stared reading her Meltdown series first then simultaneously began reading MMG and Meltdown together. And I was instantly hooked.

I love this series! I love the characters. I love the family they created through blood and bond and the affection and loyalty they all have for each other. I also love the way each book while telling one couples story also continues to weave the storyline of the others. I enjoy the mystery that’s in each book and the bad guys or women you could truly love to hate.

Last call is a cocktail of all these stories in one. It’s a vine that twists and turns and allows you to see all your favorite series characters achieve their happily ever after while still giving you a mystery plot and a bad guy that RB Hillard does so well.

I enjoyed reading MMG so much I hate to see this come to the end. I will hope that maybe some day I will see Cole or Bobby’s story. Or maybe Tut and Adam. (Please)

But until then people...it’s Last Call....you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here. 😏

I love everything that R.B. Hilliard writes I'm such a huge fan she makes her characters so lovable and the emotion she puts into her story lines is amazing you fell everything that the characters are going threw the good times and the bad , I cried , laughed ,swooned , and fanned myself on the really hot parts . This group of people are a family they have each others backs no matter what the loyalty , the love , and the protectiveness is truly remarkable . You really should read all the books before reading this and also pick up R.B. Utterly Forgettable and Fractured Beat because characters in those books are also mentioned in the last call .
Max and Ellie they were such a great couple it was their relationship that started a chain reaction for the other couples to meet and fall in love , theses two have been through so much first love, misunderstandings , Reuniting , falling even more back in love , close calls , marriage , and being parents now we get to see whats next for them .
Gage and Piper they have to be my favorite couple I'v read all of this authors stories countless times but I think I read not letting go more they are just so good for each other and Piper is so hilarious her filter can't be stopped . They are married now and they see all their friends having babies maybe it's time for them to start a family but something is holding one of them back .
Dillon and Isabella have a beautifully adorable little girl and they are adding another kid to this awesome family and we get to see what some mothers go threw after giving birth and I have say Dillon is such a great husband and father for what he does for Isabella .
Kurt and Joss are just amazing they are a funny couple every time it would be one of their chapters I knew I was in for a laugh . Joss is close to giving birth and Kurt is planning on opening another bar while worrying about his wife .
Cas and Sarah are getting ready for the big day they finally become husband and wife , from a wedding planner brother who's has taken over the wedding , and a family member trying to tear the happy couple apart will they get their happy ever after .
Harry and Polly have always been in the background we see bits and pieces of their relationship and the banter that they have makes you want them to make it official already .
I was crying at the end I wanted more of these characters , I hope some characters that are mentioned will get their happy ever after aka Ellies dad and the guys at LASH (WINK WINK )

What a fantastic end to a fantastic series. This book gives the closure that you need and want for all the characters that you will have undoubtedly met and fallen in love with throughout this series. With just the right amount of suspense and drama to keep you hooked from start to finish. I personally didn’t want to see this series end, but this author has truly done justice to this series. This is a very brief review, but who wants spoilers, what I will say is that this is a must read…obviously if you have read the series. What an emotional read from start to finish. Can’t wait for new material from this fantastically talented author.

What a way to go out!! As sad as I am to see this amazing series come to an end, it was great to catch up on some of my favorite couples of all time. The original books are incredible, each focusing on a different couple that are all intertwined in some way. Some through friends, relatives, work, play, etc. They are some of the most likable characters that I have had the pleasure of getting to know. So getting to send them off with this collection of different stories about each couple was awesome. I am really going to miss them all. Great book. Loved it!!!

Heavy sigh - It's the end. But talk about going out with a bang!

I cannot believe how much action there is in The Last Call! We get a look at all the characters, how the couples are doing and what they are up to, complete updates!

Again, characters are injured, enough to take a hard look at life. Oh, and a new couple are brought into play - not one I expected.

Amazing story, amazing artist, amazing storyteller. RB Hilliard created a crazy world of neat characters and draws her readers into their world.

I would like to state for the record that I believe ALL authors with amazing series' (and there are many), should write a last book like this one. I have been addicted to this series since I read the very first one! I really feel like they have been my friends as I read about them growing up. Couple 1 is Mac and Ellie, 2 is Gage and Piper, 3 is Kurt and Joss, 4 is Dylan and Isabella, 5 is Cas and Sara, and a special 6th, which has Polly and Harry finally taking a chance on love. Mac & Ellie have the biggest permanent place in my heart since they were my first. But that doesn't take away from the rest of them, as they too, have places on my heart. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE RB Hilliard, and her brilliant writing style, and while The Last Call was amazing in a bittersweet way, I'm still a bit sad about the MMG series being over. But I can't deny that she was very gracious to give us a look into what they are up to now, and it was just perfect. Just like all the ones before, this story grabbed and held my attention hostage until the very end, and any normal breaks that I may have taken, did not come into play while I was transported back into this world, and one of my happy places. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that although I still find myself wanting more, I'm also super excited to see what masterpiece she comes out with next! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

“To The Last Call...And new beginnings.”

This was a great book, although it could be stated that it’s more like several short story books. Each chapter focuses on a new couple or a person. It’s a neat book in the fact that it gives us a glimpse into the characters lives as to how they were dealing with their own emotional turmoil as each story was being told. This books walks us through the struggles that each couple was having that’s not discussed in their books. If you read the series (which I strongly suggest) then you need to read Last Call to see how it all ends!!

This book was an epilogue of sorts. It took us through all of the men of the MMG and the families they love, their difficulties, pregnancies and births, taking care of one final villain and the decisions that were made before and because of the incidents of the previous books. I honestly enjoyed making a final visit to the garage and the investigation firm. I loved discovering these people had real problems that happen to people every day. It was, for all intents and purposes, a last hurrah, and I'm glad the author took us there. I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.

A fitting end

I have enjoyed reading the MMG series. The books have had excitement, passion, and decent storylines. Hilliard did a good job of wrapping up the story lines. My one question is, why introduce the love story of Harry and Polly? It almost felt unnecessary to closing the series. All in all I would recommend this series.

Great Series Ending

There is no better way to tie up the series than getting a final glimpse into the lives of each character. But is it really the final glimpse when the characters show up in other books? My favorite part of her books might be the reoccurring characters from her other series.

This was an awesome book as well as an awesome series. I’m sad to see it end though. This series will definitely be going on my re-read shelf. I’m wondering if RB Hilliard is planning a spin off series since not everyone got an HEA. That would be pretty cool to visit everyone again. Anywhoo...

Happy Reading 🤓

It was ok...at least an ending but still - as with the other books it had unnecessary drama, bad guys and easy closure. I’ve wasted money on worse books so these were ok. Will I continue to her other books? Probably not until they are free

Perfect Ending

I so wished more authors wrote this type of closing book when a series ended. Questions each characters future was answered. You got to see their growth and closure on issues. And I love the songs RB Hilliard inserts

GREAT CATCH-UP!

This was a great catch-up book on our favorite characters. There were some situations that warrant more story (Cole, Sally, Polly & Harry) but don't know if that is in R.B.'s plans!

Loved this series!
