Kyle was the second book in the Black Skulls Mc series by Kylie Walker.
Levi witnessed a murder and was on the run from another MC. She was under the protection of the Black Skulls where Kyle, one of the Sergeant At Arms, was her protector. The problem - she knew Kyle from when they were younger as her late brother’s best friend. She hadn’t seen him since she lost her brother and it wasn’t a welcomed reunion.
Walker took us through the push and pull of the relationship while simultaneously taking us through the survival mode from the hunt of the other MC. I liked the storyline premise but there were several parts that seemed unfinished or skipped over. I was craving more detail and depth.
I’d like to see more with this series and hopefully some additional details will be provided and gaps filled in. At the time of this review there were no other books noted; however, Jared and Cami seem to be the obvious next step with Strike following close behind.

This is the second book in this series by Kylie Walker. It is full of twists, turns, suspense, mystery, romance , and awesome sex. The chemistry between the leads—Levi & Kyle, is hot and full of chemistry.
Levi was in the wrong place at the wrong time and now her life is in danger. So her father, being a former member of the Black Skills MC, sent her to them for protection and Kyle is assigned. Thing is Levi and Kyle have a past history. Will that get in the way now? Will their past history , their huge attraction cause Kyle to refuse the protection detail and walk away or will he stay and give them a chance and also protect Levi?
There is so much at play , this book was rockin and rollin with the twists and turns and the passion in motion. I loved the characters and the secondary characters. This is definitely one fast paced story. I cannot wait to read what MS. Walker has next.

Great book written by Kylie Walker. Levi who runs away from home after graduating high school due to losing her brother a few years earlier finds herself involved with Frankie from an MC and he ends up not being very nice. Things are going well for the first few months and then he changes and becomes very abusive and he is their Sargent in Arms and takes her with at times so she see the gory and horrible things he does for a living. One day when his own club comes knocking on his door due to something he did, Levi runs away after they kill Frankie. Now she's on the run from them and heads home quickly to ask for help. Her dad send her to an old friend from another MC called the Black Skulls to speak to their president Rodney. He agrees to help her and tells one of the guys who is Kyle to "babysit" her. When they meet up, Levi and Kyle realize who they are. He was her brothers best friend and has blamed himself for Will's death for the past 10 years. Will this MC be able to protrect Levi from the other one? What will happen to Levi and Kyle? They have had an attraction to each other since they were kids. Will Rodney keep his word and make sure Levi is safe and where does that leave him with his MC? This is a great read with a lot of suspense, loyalty and love. You will not be disappointed. I love how well the book was written and there was a HEA. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

This was a really exciting book. It has a lot of twists and turns. I never knew what was going to happen next. Just when you think that the book is going to end in a happy ending you realize that the book isn't over and there is more to it.
Levi McGarden got mixed up with the Sons of Warlocks MC. She is there when they kill her boyfriend and they believe in having no witnesses. So she is being chased down. She goes back home to visit her parents that she hasn't seen in years. Things changed when her brother Will died. They were overprotective. Her father sends her to Rodney Boone who is the President of Black Skulls MC.
Kyle Flanagan is the Sergeant of Arms of the Black Skulls MC. He is charged with babysitting Levi. He doesn't know who he is watching over until she opens the door. Seems that his past has come back to haunt him and he knows there is no way he can make it if he has to be in charge of her.

Levi heard the motorcycles out front, and Frankie told her to get under the bed or in the closet and hide! He had a gun out but wouldn’t tell her what had happened. Knowing she may not get out alive, she cleared a path through the trash to the window of her bedroom to escape rather than hide. This time it seemed really serious! The Sons of Warlocks Enforcers were being sent and they were not fooling around about this.
Because Levi was a witness to what happened, now her life is in danger too. Her father, a former Black Skills MC member, sends her for protection and Kyle is assigned. With Levi and Kyle’s past history, will their attraction have any kind of chance? Or will he walk away from his assignment?

Now this was a balls to wall rip snorter of a story. This MC wasn't a standard shoot 'em up bang bang (and I say that for guns as well as the flesher side of some MC stories). The had twists that even I didn't see coming, but seen those in the lifestyle and how it could go terribly wrong. The Skulls weren't what I had truly believed to be a legit group, but this story proved me wrong.....mostly. Having Levi and Kyle literally fall into each other again made the love interest give me the warm and fuzzies even when Kyle did a 180 after that first night they spent together. However, who would have thought the scenario with Rodney would be so much more than even Levi knew of herself.
I read this voluntarily and found that our hero was named Kyle with the author being Kylie. Good read worth the 5 Star rating I gave it, and look forward to seeing more of this author.

This is the first book that I have read by the author and was sucked in. Levi is living with her boyfriend Frankie a member of the Sons of Warlocks MC. She overhears a conversation between Frankie and his brothers and then witnesses his murder. From there the action really starts to build and Levi eventually winds up back in touch with her departed brother’s best friend, who incidentally belongs to a rival MC, because of her need for protection. The longer she stays with Kyle, their attraction begins to build and simmer. Can Kyle deal with his feelings about the past to protect Levi? Can Kyle and Levi forgive each other to have their happily ever after? Suspense, action, and intrigue this book has it all and it is not one to be missed.

Kylie Walker has gifted us with a terrific MC story with all the angst, hate, love and craziness one would expect from a book about a MC. I love MC stories...but Kyle is bigger and better than most.
This book had so much action, it's amazing! We're talking drama, revenge, danger, heartbreak, with terrific chemistry between Kyle and Levi. Not to mention twists and turns...
I loved this book. If I had a complaint, it would be that the book ended too quickly...and the HEA left me wanting--a little something more.

I enjoy MC books and this one did not disappoint. If you like Sons of Anarchy, you will truly enjoy this book. There is Levi, on the run after her boyfriend is murdered. She goes to the Black Skulls MC with a letter from her parents requesting their assistance. Kyle, is the enforcer of the club and is tasked with protecting her. He doesn't realize who she is and the story gets going from there. I really liked it, hope you do as well.

Kylie walker has done it again. She has managed to make a "family" of bikers that make our mouths water and asking for more. This series has action and drama that will have you screaming for more.
Levi and Kyle's story has emotional drama but of course there is the chemistry that can't be denied. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

In trouble, Levi has to turn to the Black Skulls MC for help. Kyle, is in the MC and now he has to babysit Levi and protect her from danger. I so enjoyed their story as Kyle and Levi spent time together. Their attraction was strong but the reasons they needed to stay apart seemed stronger. This is the first book I have read about this MC but I want to read more.

This had a decent story, characters that had good chemistry and thankfully H only made one stupid mistake and quickly made up for it. It did leave the story partly open, like a serial storyline so it wasn't quite finished. There is much unrealized potential, though I did enjoy the book.

I read an advanced copy of this book and I loved it. It was full of mystery and action. The sex scenes were hot but did not over take the book. Great read for and MC book.

Levi left home after high school because of how controlling her parents got after the death of her older brother. A few years later she is a waitress in a small town diner and the old lady of a member of a MC. Her guy treats her so bad that she is about to leave when he suddenly comes home. They argue but are interrupted by others members of the MC. Her boyfriend had cheated the MC and now they are going to kill him for it. Levi escapes but the MC's code is to leave no witnesses. Levi goes home to ask for help and her dad sends her to the Skulls MC to ask for their protection. Before she was born, her dad was associated with the Skulls and did a big favor for the MC's leader.
Kyle is a member of the Skulls MC. The boss assigned him to be Levi's protector. Kyle is not happy. Not only does he hate babysitting Levi but she brings back bad memories. Wow, wow, wow!! So much excitement for one book! Levi is a girl that at the tender age of 19 runs away from home after a tragedy that strikes her family, and falls into the wrong crowd. There she's meets a biker and gets hot and heavy with him. But, after awhile things go south and her good times start to turn into nightmares. On the day she decides to run away from that life she witnesses her boyfriends death and becomes wanted. After making contact with her parents she ends up learning some truth to who they are. And her dad sends her to meet an old friend to help her out. Now with the protection of the Black Skulls, things get interesting. She runs into her old crush which happened to be her brothers best friend growing up named Kyle. He gets assigned "babysitting" duty and when he meets his assignment he's blown away and everything he tried to forget about that fateful day comes rushing back. Their chemistry was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning to the very end. And I am glad to have read a happily ever after ending. It was just perfect. Great job Kylie! I can't wait to read more of your books!

Love the Subplot and Storyline!
This second book in this series is filled with the dynamics of the MC brotherhood, friendships and loyalty. It shows well the intricate lives of being in a MC, how they fight for their club, the women they love and protect their own. I love the hot steamy connection between Kyle & Levi.
When the secret between Levi's family and the MC was revealed it strengthened their bond and connection. I like catching up with familiar characters from the first book. Love the HEA! The partial bonus book, the first book Asa- Black Skulls ( I previously read) was action filled full of angst and secrets, with a strong, sexy alpha male and a feisty, smart, sexy woman on a mission searching for answers but ends up getting more that what she was looking for and also finding her love. I recommend reading both books. Look forward to reading other books in this series.

Hot muscular men of MC's. Gotta love them.
A fairly quick read that I rate three and a half stars. Kyle is Levi's dead brother's best friend and he blames himself for his death. She has always had a crush on him but being 5 years older, realises it's not gonna happen. Levi has a problem and Black Skulls MC is her only hope to get her out of the mess. Kyle is assigned babysitting duty and sees that she is not the little 14 year old he remembers. There's a lot of attraction and some hot sexy scenes. 18+. There's quite a few surprises in the story that make it entertaining. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an advanced readers copy.

I enjoyed this story! It was well written and flowed really well. It felt like a quick read for me as the pages just turned really easily lol. I had to keep reading to figure out what was going to happen between Levi and Kyle. Levi has gotten herself into a mess with another MC. She was planning to leave when her boyfriend (that she was leaving) is killed in the house. She runs but of course the MC is after her with a "no witness" motto. Her father points her in the direction of the Black Skulls MC for help. He has ties there from years and years ago. Levi heads there but she gets a surprise. Her dead brother's best friend is one of the group and the one assigned to protect her. As it's been years since they've seen each other, they are surprised to find the sexual attraction and chemistry between them is off the charts. They don't exactly know what to do with it but it soon causes it's own set of problems. They have to figure out what is going on between them in the midst of trying to keep Levi safe. There's some action, a little suspense, and plenty to keep you engaged and reading. The sex is explicit and fits the story. It makes sense and isn't there just to be there. This is the second in the series but it can be read as a stand alone without any issues.

I don't read a ton of MC romances, but I really like Kylie Walker's MC novels.
This was a great MC romance with suspense, steam and twists and turns that I did not see coming!
I loved how this was sort of a second chance romance too, as Kyle and Levi knew each other as kids and teens until tragedy tore them apart. He used to think of her as a little sister, but now that she's all grown up, he still wants to protect and keep her safe, but there's nothing brotherly about the feelings he's having for her.
Action packed story with rival MCs, a young woman on the run and the man who will keep her safe no matter what the cost.

Loved this story between Kyle and Levi.
The history between them was amazing but the twist was even better.

Levi is running from the Sons of Warlocks MC as she's aware of a murder, her scum boyfriend. Her parents send her to the Black Skulls MC for protections. Kyle is the Sergeant of Arms and doesn't appreciate being a babysitter...till he sees it's Levi, his best friend's little sister. Keeping her safe is going to be a challenge as Levi is a woman with her own mind. Secrets come out that put everyone at risk. This was a great MC read, slow at times, but overall good!

I am not usually into MC books but this was a very good story with a few twists. Levi is running from her exes old MC. Kyle was her brother's childhood friend that Levi hasn't seen since a tragic accident. He is assigned to babysit Levi until the club can figure out how to solve the mess she's in. Levi's crush on Kyle from her adolescent years has turned to pure lust and Kyle also finds her hard to resist. Just when you think you've reached the end and they got their HEA...surprise...the book is not quite over yet and another twist or two pop up.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This book definitely kept me interested. If you like MC books, this will be for you. I think those like me that aren't as into MC books will still enjoy this.

Second book in the ‘Black Skulls MC’ series by Kylie Walker and this is the story of ‘Kyle’. As this is a motorcycle club book it might not be for everyone with the language and sex but it wouldn’t be a proper MC book without it. It is a 4 star read for me.
Kyle has been tasked with keeping Levi safe and that means being up close with Levi for a lot of the time. As the two of them have a former past of Kyle being her dead brothers friend that she has crushed and she is the young girl who has bloomed into a beauty.
This is a well written story that has a variety of suspense, excitement and sexual attraction to keep you entertained and connected to the story.

I love a good MC story & this one doesn't let down.
Levi runs away from the Sons of Warlocks MC, but being an ex-gf she knows how they operate as to their no witnesses policy. After her dad reveals a secret, Levi goes to the Black Skulls MC for protection & Kyle gets to babysit her. However they've known each other long ago when he was best friends with Levi's brother before he died in a tragic accident. There's an instant attraction between them. While the Black Skulls MC President try to arrange a meeting with the President of the Sons of Warlocks MC, Levi disappears!
