Insects Up Close
Aphids
Did you know that aphids poop honeydew? It’s true! And it’s also fact that ants harvest this sweet poo. In this insect introduction, early readers will see aphids more as honeydew suppliers than pests. Red ones, black ones, green ones, woolly ones, and winged ones are all swarming in this title!

Great introduction to these little buggers! I see them every summer; they are very still or move very slowly on some of the plants in my backyard. Ladybugs are on the same plants...guess it is just like hanging around near a place where you know there will be lots of food for you. The photos in this book are amazing!
