I’ve always been the guy who plays the field. I like variety and my career ensures that I can have my pick of women.

Until her…

I’ve always been the girl who wants more. I want the white picket fence, the two point five kids and the dog. That’s what all little girls grow up dreaming about.

Until him…

Why is it that she’s all I can see? I no longer want the variety instead all I want is her. I won’t stop until she believes that she’s mine.

I assure you…

He’s not the kind of guy I usually date. He’s cocky, and famous and that hair. He says I’m what he wants, but I know his type. He likes to play the field. Only with me he’s different.

He’s assured.

This book was exactly what I needed. Kaylee Ryan can write romance. Cole and Stacy were fantastic. She was apprehensive about him, with good reason, because of his past with women. Being in a rock band, he never really thought about settling down until he spends a lot of time with Stacy on tour. She didn't make it easy on him and that made him fall even harder. Watching him fall in love with her and realize he wanted it all was awesome. I love how the drama came from an outside source and only served to make them stronger as a couple. Great seconday characters who you fall in love with as much as the main characters. There was no epilogue, I hope that means we get more of them in the next installment of this series. Give me more Kaylee Ryan!!!!! Kudos! well done!

H was a manho but still a pretty great straightforward guy, I was just a bit tired of hearing about the fun he has with women- its probably just me - and not sure but think H is with OW after he met h

...plus it was 36% and they still hadn't got together, at this point I want the h to find someone else and for the h/H to be friends!!

Ken and Barbie are in rock band and ....
Nah, it was some guy whose names starts with a 'C' and Stacey? I think..
To be honest my brain has gone numb from reading this.

I DNFed around 55% just as the H and h were getting busy for the first time, because;
A, They have no chemistry
B, They have about as much personality as Barbie and Ken
C, I just wasn't interested
D, All of the above

The H is 25 and the lead guitarist in a Rock band. The h is the bff of the girl who married the lead singer. They go on tour together.
The end.

...But who knows. Maybe something will actually happen in the second half of the 'story'.
Even though the H has had lots of ONS with groupies, this one was squeaky clean safe.

The writing is so inoffensively safe, that nothing happens. The characters make the Smurfs seem jaded. They all sound the same and their dialogue is just dull as dishwater. I felt no emotion when reading this.
Now I love a sweet romance that is on the quiet side, but I still need character building and interesting dialogue. I just want a hint of cleverness. But it was bereft of any details to give it interest. It could have been written by a robot.

Not gonna read this author again. Life is too short.

Sweet story like the first book in the series. I'm interested to see if the rest of the guys in the band will get their stories told. The author sort of alludes to it, since the girls are so curious about their activities, and sort of questionable behavior.

There should potentially be a trigger warning in the description of this book. Though light, for the most part, there in an incident that happens which even made me tear up a bit.

Pretty good romance. He is in a rock band and has always played the field, but now he wants to settle down. He falls in love with our heroine and has to convince her that he can give her the stability she wants.

I needed this book. I needed a book that was sweet, and sexy, and funny; something that was maybe a little fluffy, quick and easy to read, and that was going to bring a smile to my face and a hitch to my heart.

And that's what Assured did. I have no complaints about this book. None. From the start, I was into it—it was playful and bantery, Cole was panty-melting and alpha without being a jerk, and I just really, really, REALLY enjoyed reading it.

Since the end of (or, more accurately, the middle of) Emphatic, I've been jonesing for more of the Soul Serenade boys. My only complaint (and really, it wasn't even a complaint...) about that book was that Cole, Tristan and Gavin needed more closure—or books of their own. And thank goodness that not only did Kaylee Ryan turn that book into the start of a series, but that she made Cole and Stacy book two.

They're so perfect together, y'all. The attraction is intense and palpable but neither of them are pushovers. Ms. Ryan takes the time to build a sweet friendship and respect between them before it goes to the next level, and then, when it DOES go to the next level, it's steamy and flirty and right.

I really can't say enough great things about this book. It's not that I've not enjoyed my other reads recently; it's that Assured sucked me in from the very start, and remained exactly what I wanted and needed it to be throughout. It's a happy book (with just enough edge to be interesting), and I'm all the happier for having read it.

Ms. Ryan is one of my favorite authors, and for good reason. With her name on the cover, I'm Assured a damn good read whenever I need it. And you are too. I assure you. ~ Beth, 5 stars

Ooooh, y’all—these Soul Serenade boys are killing me.

This band! I’m so in love with this band. There are no clichés here—these guys have so much heart, so much integrity, and these great, big, wonderfully lovable personalities. I’m so gone for them, I can’t even tell you. And Cole Hampton? Well, I mean…shit.

Cole fancies himself a bit of a bad boy. He’s a player. He has no interest in settling down and he’s not shy about communicating that. As lead guitarist for Soul Serenade, he has more than his fair share of random to choose from…so why can’t he stop thinking about beautiful and headstrong, Stacy?

The thing is, Cole isn’t quite as badass as he wants to think he is. And Stacy isn’t even close to a sure thing. She’s plucky and strong—she stands by her ideals and won’t settle for anything less. She keeps Cole on his toes and—while holding him at arms-length—manages to build this fantastic, warm friendship with him. Their romance is a wonderful, beautiful slow build and it’s SO WORTH IT. They’re so much fun together and so completely right for each other—every single thing about them put a smile on my face.

I love a reformed manwhore, and Cole was amazing. It was a delightfully breathtaking thing, watching him fall in love with Stacy, and watching her open her heart to Cole. I completely adored their story; the slow, steady build and the way it inevitably caught fire and burned sizzling hot and full of heart.

Assured is a completely addictive read, a breath of fresh air, and a story that will leave your heart bubbling with happiness. ~ Shelly, 5 stars

Cole is not a shy, bashful man, oh no, the boy goes commando, and has no problem sharing the facilities, "just as I finish washing my hands, Cole barges into the room. He relieves himself as if I’m not even there." I enjoyed this book, I thought Cole would be loud, overly-cocky, and wild but he surprised me with that sweet side of his.

I wanted to overlook H's manwhorish past, but they reminded me till about 45%.
UGH!
He was ok then and the book was safe, but I don't buy in this 'all-others-were-nothing-and-you-are-everything' crap. A man, who speaks in this way about OWs, doesn't have my full respect.

This one was pretty predictable, but I didn't mind. I liked watching Cole win over Stacy, how he didn't let her know, just showed her by actions. It even took most of the book before they had sex, so you knew Cole was serious. It was also fun to see how everyone was on the road performing. The bit of drama at the end was crazy. I did like how the guys stood behind Stacy, first, then used the situation to get what would be better for them as a band.

3.5. Audiobook. There was to much repetitive and no chemistry from main characters. There wasn’t much of storyline either.

Kaylee Ryan is one of my faves! She writes sweet romance with steam. She will make you swoon. She will make you giggle. She will make you cry. She will get you all hot. She will make you fall in love. She will make you believe in happily ever afters.

I loved, loved, loved Assured. Unlike any other rock star romance series I've ever read, you are in for perfection with book two in the Soul Serenade series. This book grabbed me from the first page and it devoured me whole by the time I finished the last word.

Assured was the perfect mix of sexy, sweet, fun, and passion. Kaylee Ryan gave me a captivating storyline that hooked me and nestled deep. While this is a standalone, I suggest reading book one in this series as it lays the perfect foundation for this book.

This is Cole and Stacy's story. We watched their connection begin in Emphatic. We fell in love with the fun, sweet, loyal, and seriously sexy Cole. We swooned for him while Kacen was giving us his story. Now, Cole is ready to shine and take center stage.

He's the lead guitarist for Soul Serenade. She's Logan's best friend. He plays the field. She wants romance with all the perks. Their connection is intense.. deep... strong... sizzling... and undeniable. Can they find balance, love, and get their happy ending?

I highly recommend this book.

He is the perfect combination of badass rocker to a sweet and sensitive guy and a mushy Uncl Cowe. He mad my heart sing through out this entire story. Stacy is one very lucky lady

This second book in the Soul Serenade series is just the right mix of sweet, sexy and drama to satisfy every romance reader. Cole has wanted Stacy since he first saw her dancing at the club but Stacy wants more than a night between the sheets. As time goes by and this girl is so under his skin Cole comes to realize that he wants to be her more, but convincing Stacy might just be the hardest riff he will ever play. Their story will make you swoon as we see the sweet side of Cole and not just the rock god that is Cole Hampton. As the direction in their lives are changing and serious situations are thrown in the mix be assured this book will keep you guessing and have you captivated with every word.

Nothing better to read than a rock star changing his man-whore ways to catch the eye of a beautiful woman. The instant Cole meets Stacy all bets are off and he must have her. But will Stacy believe that he has really changed? Or will Cole be the second band member to fall in love? I absolutely fell in love with this couple when they were first introduced in Book 1. Completely entertaining and highly emotional. I never saw the plot twist coming. I cannot wait for more in the series.

Love, love, love!!!

This is the best series ever, y’all. No, it’s not, but it comes close. Kaylee Ryan doesn’t know how to write a bad book. I love them all! And Cole!! Ugh. Be still my heart. I love a story about bad boys who get all the girls until they find the one that makes it worth quitting the single life and become completely devoted. That’s Cole in a nutshell. And the book is perfect. Five stars!

Edit:

Yes the H at first wanted just a hook up with the h and tossed her around but then that didn't happen until H was man enough to knowledge he had feelings for h and wanted more so they made love when they were officially a couple. Although I couldn't give five stars because H couldn't stop talking about (at first) how he enjoyed a lots of women. But it was sweet and I fall in love with H

BOOK: 3.25 STARS (from 5 STARS)
COVER: 5 STARS (from 5 STARS)

Much better than the last book. A little more angst,🙋🏼‍♂Thank GOD🙏, but only just a little. Cole, once he decided he was going to try his first relationship (ever), was 100% into it 💯. He never went back & forth in his decision, wondering if he made the right choice (like most men do at least once). There was, like I said, some angst😨....a climax🎇, if you will... but it was as weak as the foreplay☝🤭🤫.

I found Cole "too perfect to be believable" but crazily, he was still 200% more believable than Kacen (Hero from Book #1). It helps me enjoy what I'm reading📕, when what I'm reading📚, is even just the tiniest bit plausible🔍. I guess some readers don't care if things are believable, or not, based on the books ratings🥇.

But apparently the 4 guys in this band🎤🎸🎹🥁, most whom have never really dated, let alone have had a relationship, are all rich💵, sexy💋 & kind rock stars⛰️🌟, who would never cheat ⚖️& each fall in love💘 with one ordinary heroine 🙋‍♀(like us).

So the whole series is 100,000,000% fake [💯❌💯❌💯❌💯]%.

5 Assured stars!! Beautiful, sexy and steamy hot!

Cole is droolworthy!!! Ugh, he’s so adorable and sexy, there’s no reason why you won’t fall all over him after you’re done slobbering!!! So I can totally see why Stacy falls hard for this beautiful man. This story is so well put together and so addicting. I had a hard time putting my kindle down to be a normal human being during the day!! I had to know what was going to happen between Cole and Stacy!!! But it was sooooo worth it!!!

This is book 2 in the Soul Serenade Series. Now I loved Empathic. It was raw and sweet. This book is a little different in vibe and situations.

One things that I was SUPER happy about was that no one died. I am not spoiling anything. I just mean in many of Kaylee Ryan’s books someone who is close to the protagonist dies. It was getting old and redundant. This book was not like that and we had a different traumatic event happen to our leading couple.

This story is about Stacy and Cole. Cole is the lead guitarist for the band Soul Serenade. He is a ladies man through and through, but when he meets Stacy he is not only stunned by her beauty, but also her sassiness. He has been trying to persuade her to sleep with me for months, but she turns him down every time.

Stacy gets an opportunity to work with the band on the tour for the next few months and Cole believes this is his chance to win her over.

Their story is constant game of cat and mouse
which they both strongly love.
 It is their foreplay.

One things I wasn’t a huge fan of was Cole’s dirty mouth. I want to take some soap to it and wash it out, but Stacy enjoyed it.

Should you read it????
Yes.
Do you like your man with a little wild side and shoulder length blonde hair?
Then this is your next book-boy-friend.
 Enjoy my fellow readers.

Holy Moly, this book is sensational!

Assured is the astounding next book in the Soul Serenade Series featuring the super swoony, oh so freaking hot Cole Hampton... I never thought I'd say this but he's wayyy better than Kacen!

I have no idea where to start my review for Assured. From the first page I was in total bookworm bliss, knowing I was going to fall in love with another Kaylee creation. Each and every time Kaylee releases a new book, her writing gets stronger, her story lines get more addicting, her characters get more captivating. And Assured has all that and more. I have literally devoured this book and all that is Cole.

It has taken just under 3 hours for me to inhale every single word. Every single spark of tension and every single tingle from an undeniably strong connection, between me and the characters and the characters themselves.

Assured, sizzles and pops, all the way though. While reading I got butterflies, that got bigger and bigger the further in I got. Cole & Stacy are perfect! So hot, so sweet, so EVERYTHING.

From the initial push and pull of searing hot tension to the swoony, blissful, heartwarming love that develops, this book takes you on the ride of your life. Add in the other Soul Serenade band members and a creepy bad guy and Assured will have you glued to the edge of your seat!

I am 100% in love with this book, in love with Cole. He's topped my Kaylee Ryan creation list! This story has captivated me and totally blown me away. And it will you too.

I assure you.

Oh COLE!!!!

You cocky, confident "assured" sexy man!

He was everything I was hoping he would be!

With his prey in sight...Stacey had absolutely no hope of arming her defences against the confessed man-whore!!!

I swear - these rock stars of Soul Serenade have one sole purpose and that it to make all the readers fall in love with them!

Kaylee Ryan - I have said it once and I will say again - you put the swoon into swoon woman!!!

The back and fourth between Cole and Stacey was perfect...a balance of honesty and snark with a touch of heavy flirting thrown in the mix!

When Cole wants something, boy does he set his mind to getting it!

Stacey - look out because you are on his radar and with his dirty words, man-bun and guitar Cole has everything he needs to make Stacey his!

I cannot tell you how quickly these books and these characters will reach inside and steal a piece of your heart!

It's good old fashioned love at it's best!

Kaylee Ryan, you are phenomenal and I would forever recommend anything you write to anyone and everyone!

These boys and this SERIES is the bomb!!!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Emphatic (Soul Serenade #1)

This is Stacy and Cole’s story. If you read book one, we met Cole in that story and he should have already grabbed your heart. Cole is the lead Guitarist for Soul Serenade. He’s a player. She is Logan’s best friend and all about romance. Can these two find a happy medium? Can he change his ways and learn to be a one woman man? Can he be the romantic that Stacy needs? Will Stacy fall for the sweet and sexy man that Cole is? These two are so great together. Can they make it a forever?

I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and this series.

I accidentally started reading this book, not realising it was number 2 in the series and by the time I realised I decided just to keep reading anyway thinking it wouldn't make a difference, however it felt like I was missing part of the story even if the first book wasn't Cole and Stacey's story. It didn't tell us anything about them or their backstory apart from that Cole was a one night stand only kind of man, because of this I didn't feel totally invested In their relationship. Don't get me wrong it was an enjoyable read, however unless your specifically looking for a lovey dovey romance with a lot of cringey affection and not a lot of drama then I wouldn't recommend.

The book was okay, but there were some major flaws. First a 4 year old does not speak like that. I also don't like a hero who is a "good guy" and doesn't lead the girls he hooks up with on because he's upfront with them. It's of course the girls fault for getting attached. But when the Heroine tells him she wants more he still pushes for a hook up. She straight tells him she isn't up for it, but then he continues to pursue and push her because "he's being honest with his feelings" so she should be okay with a hook up? But then he loves her so he changes and everyone is happy.....

I loved Kacen from Empathic, but I think Cole might have just won book boyfriend of this year. He is so sweet and sexy that you can't help but swoon! Kaylee Ryan writes some of the best romance books and this one definitely didn't disappoint. I can't wait for the rest of the guys stories.
