Got free from Chloe Lane, for a honest review.
First time reading from Chloe Lane.
From start to finish the pages was steaming with erotica mixed with light bdsm of spankings. The pages were burning so much that at times I thought the pages would catch fire. Loved the characters. Senator and Marci chemistry was rocking the pages. Loved the story and thought wow Chloe Lane knows how to put hot steamy pages in her book. Loved the light story of them and the happy ending.

Marci has worked with Senator Sterling since his campaign, and though nothing physical or scandalous has happened between these two attractive and consenting adults, it certainly doesn’t mean that neither one of them have fantasized about it a time or ten. These two definitely click, and it’s refreshing that they have more in common than simply sex – though that’s pretty erotic – they actually like one another and fall in love.
My favorite part? Hands down (spoiler alert!) is when the Senator intercepts the nosy administrative assistant who stages an attempt with media to announce the affair that Senator Sterling and Marci have been having, and converts it into a romantic proposal. This was karma at its best – no angst or plot-driven dilemmas, no long and dragged out sequence of fighting or misunderstandings, miscommunication or bad luck – it was all about falling in love and being bold enough to follow their hearts. What a concept!
This is a steady-paced read, quick to the down-and-dirty action (though it’s laced with plenty of natural and appropriately timed references to build a credible and easy to believe backstory), and likable characters. An entertaining and enchanting read!

This is not u think about political romance, just few words said he can't stay away with her, he is 37 n she just fresh from college, I don't care about the age gap but I do care about their connection, nothing being to.d, just sex, office, home n so many that forget we r reading romance not sex scene. When the affairs going to blown, he just married her then knock her up in the last.

New to me author. Older hero (he's 37) / younger heroine (she's just out of college and in her early 20s.) She's his event scheduler and things end up getting hot and heavy between them, though they try to hide it because of their careers. Enjoyed this a lot.

Now he has won the election, he has hired Marci to be his scheduling assistant. Marci is great at her job but she has one big problem. She is madly in love with Senator Sterling and wants him in every way. Senator Sterling also has the hots for Marci. He tries to keep things professional but the close quarters make it too difficult.

Marci has been with the Senator since he was campaigning, and felt blessed to follow him into his office as his scheduler. Marci has had a crush on him the whole time, and it didn't diminish over the break. Senator Sterling has been struggling with his attraction to his scheduler, and soon after taking his seat realizes it's not going to change. Soon they start to act on their desires, and start taking more risks, until one night they notice some photographers near the Senators home. Soon it's made obvious that someone does know, and Marci has worked out what their plan is, but not sure she'll survive the scandal of it all.
This was a sweet story, the Senator and Marci were a sweet couple, Marci's naivety and fear along with the Senators boldness and confidence made for a great dynamic

HOT READ! Loved this book from the start as I am a sucker for forbidden older man and younger woman romance and this was perfect. During his campaign, Senator took a chance on Marci who was just out of college. Fast forward 4 years and Senator and Marci are in office together in DC. Senator has had a clean reputation throughout his campaign. Marci loves being the scheduler for the Senator and has always had a crush on him.
What happens when the Sentaor & Marci start looking at each other as more than boss / employee?!
This is the first book that I have read by Chloe Lane and it definelty won't be my last!! Such a great love story especially if you like political or even just boss / employee romance like I do!!

This is a story about a senator and his assistant who can't keep their hands off each other. Each are worried gossip will destroy their careers but it doesn't cool things down. While I enjoy erotic scenes, I also appreciate having an actual story with conflict, threats, emotional scenes and victorious conclusion. The writing is very good but 28 out of 31 chapters is sex, sex, sex. So that is why I deduct two stars. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Three stars.

You can only fall in love with the Senator. He wants to serve his District but at the same time he wants the girl.
That is not an easy thing to get through but because of the secretary and her love for the Senator and with that her thoughts towards his seat in the Senate it will all work out.
I love the way the story has been written and I wished it would have been longer :)

I don't normally read politically inspired books, but I decided to give this one a chance because it was Chloe Lane's book. WHat a suprise, it was a fun sassy read, the relationship angle was well done and the senator was swoon worthy. I can't wait to read more from Chloe! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

This is my first book by Chloe Lane and if this is an indication of her writing, then I most definitely will be reading more. Senator Scandal is a quick, dirty, steamy older man/younger woman romance story with a bit of scandal, lust, attraction, lots and lots of hot sex, and a sweet HEA.

This is a pretty damn good book for a debut novel. I really loved Marci and the Senator's story. It is new and well written. The characters a great and have wonderful chemistry. This is diffidently one you will want to read!

For a debut novel the quality of writing is very good, I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot was good, although there weren't any of the usual sub-plots and this book focuses solely on the growing relationship between Marci and her Senator. These 'side stories' are usually what add a bit of depth and character to a book, the lack of them would be the 'negative' I could find about this book and even then it isn't a huge negative.
Marci and the Senator (I'll let you discover his name) are both really well written characters, both believable and likeable. The book takes alternating POV's , allowing you to really understand, 'know' and empathise with both hero and heroine. The chemistry between them was hot and very well portrayed. I loved how the Senator was dominant in the bedroom, but in a very sensual, loving and most importantly consensual way with Marci. There was no humiliating her or pushing her beyond her comfort zone that I've found a turn OFF in other books. The 'bedroom' scenes (or should that be office, shower and against the wall scenes) were very hot, and explicit but in a tasteful and erotic way.
The story flows at a good pace, I liked that they attraction had been building up BEFORE the book starts and that there was quite a few weeks of flirting before things moved on. This is a fairly quick read but is longer than most novella's and as such has a good amount of story development and depth. I am definitely interested in reading more work by Ms Lane.

David Sterling is 37 years old, a bachelor and was just elected as a new Senator. He ran his campaign with the slogan that he has a "Sterling Reputation" and seems to be an honest guy. Wow, an honest politician, who'd a thought! He is determined to uphold that slogan. There's just one problem with that, Marci.

I received an ARC for Senator Scandal and voluntarily reviewed this book. Just first-term in, Senator David Sterling has to protect his "sterling" reputation. His one daily weakness: his secret lust for his fresh-out-of-school scheduler, Marci Davenport. So much so, in fact, that he has to resort to "taking matters into his own hands" again like a randy teenager. Until one day, his control breaks, and he makes it clear to her that he needs her much too badly to keep it secret any longer.
Wow. This is so well written, and the characters are breathed so much life with the emotions described in their dual POVs that you feel right there with them as their relationships develops. There are no wasted "filler" words. Perfectly told. Perfectly sexy. Perfectly dirty. Politicians are scrutinized to the highest degree in public, but in the end, they are just as human and just as fallible. However, I believe that this particular Senator would give any dominant, alpha male you pit against him an excellent run for his money ;-D Absolutely loved this story, and I definitely will follow this author and whatever she creates for us next!

Chloe Lane turned up the heat on Capital Hill
I must admit I was a bit hesitant to read this when I definitely shouldn't have been, it was different than I expected I loved Senator Scandal so much I couldn't put it down it was hot and I highly recommend it. I think everyone loves a dirty talking alpha male (may cause kindles and panties to melt) I really loved the story it was more about their relationship than their positions I swooned so hard when he called her Kitten (heart eyed emoji) But i loved how one person thought she could ruin everything only to have her plan backfire the most. Score 1 for The Senator and Marci 0 for jealous people. Excellent first book Chloe congratulations! can't wait to read more!

This is the first book that I have read by Chloe Lane and what a great read. Marci is the scheduler for the newly appointed Senator, David, and has been for a few years since his campaigning. Now that they have made it, it's getting harder and harder to hide their attraction for one another until one day David acts upon attraction. Marci does not resist and their affair starts but they have to hide it, first she works for him and she is much younger as well, a scandal waiting to happen. When someone from the office finds out how will they handle it?
What I enjoyed the most about this book is the way David handled the situation when their affair was about to be exposed, how Marci was honest with David when she figured out someone knew and of course the steamy scenes. Great Read!

I got this book as an ARC for an honest review. Chloe Lane is a new author for me and I have to say I like the writing style. This is another quick read. Nothing wrong with that. We all need something a little hot and steam now and again. Marci is fresh out of college and held with David Sterling's campaign for senate. Now he is Senator Sterling and he has taken Marci long with him to be his personal scheduler. They end up spending a lot of time in their new offices and something just seems to build for them. Now any scandal can bring down his career. Will a scandal bring down what they have or is fate going to be kind to David and Marci?

This is a great first book and a look into a promising writing career for Chole! Marci worked on the Senator's political campaign. When he won, she went with him to DC to keep him organized and his schedule running perfectly. Marci is sweet and just out of college and she's had the hots for her boss since day one. Unknowning to her, the Senator can't get Marci out of his mind either but he doesn't want a scandal nor does he want to ruin Marci. But soon, neither of them can handle it and an affair starts...sexy and HOT! But they will eventually be found out...great read!

There is nothing better than reading the first book by a new author. Of course the only thing that could make it better is the steamy sex in the book. I absolutely loved this book. Marci is fresh out of college, and already is making a name for herself. Senator Sterling wants her and needs her, but not at the expense of his reputation. They find a way to be together for some much needed steamy sex and lovemaking. Scandal isn't far though, but he has a way of deflecting the situation and professing his love. I can't wait for more books from Chloe Lane. I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book.

Marci has worked for David Sterling throughout his campaign for senator. After his successful run, Marci continues to work for him. Their feelings for each other will nearly cause a scandal when they are seen together by someone Marci considers a friend. Hot, sexy characters and a forbidden relationship, fantastic book.
