Faith is willing to do whatever it takes to get—and keep—a position with Lawrence and Associates. The job requirements are more satisfying than she could have ever guessed, but while sensual games are encouraged, falling in love is against the rules.
She must protect her heart…
Above all, Faith’s sexy, mysterious boss, Mr. Lawrence, is off-limits. To sign on for a long term deal, Faith will have to dig deep, and find the strength to walk away.
Tiffany Allee currently lives in Phoenix, AZ, by way of Chicago and Denver, and is happily married to a secret romantic. She spends her days working in Corporate America while daydreaming about sexy heroes, ass-kicking heroines, and interesting ways to kill people (for her books, of course). Her nights are reserved for writing and bothering her husband and cats (according to them). Her passions include reading, chocolate, travel, wine, and family.
One plus was that the book was well written grammatically. Apart from that there wasn't much of a plot. When I got to the end, I wondered if by some mistake I hadn't downloaded the whole book because there was no depth character- and book-wise. I felt like it was one sex scene after the other with just a little plot thrown in there. I hate giving a "meh" review because I know writing is hard work but this book just wasn't what I expected.
First off, I received an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems - thank you - and this is my voluntary and independent review. Second, I can't believe I enjoyed this book as much as I did. Billionaire Boss is the quintessential D/s workplace fantasy, wherein all the men are hot executives with insatiable (and dominant) sexual desires, and all (two) of the women are young, hot, sexual submissives who can definitely be bought (for top wages, perks, and generous if unconventional benefits packages). Understand, my time in the workforce did not endear me to sexual overtures on the job, the mere thought of spanking makes me livid, and I do not have a submissive bone in my body. Billionaire Boss is NOT my kink, BUT... Tiffany Allee/Andie Devaux writes the bejaysus outta this one. Her characters may begin as fantasy stereotypes, but they morph into very interesting, quirky, damaged people who use kink to manage the issues in their lives - successfully. The Dom is aware of being the ultimate control freak, and he's human - man - enough to make changes when it becomes important. The untried submissive grows one hell of a backbone and a pair of brass ovaries. H and h may have raging libidos, but they also have brains, guts, and ethics, and it's the latter that generates the drama and the satisfying HEA. And THAT is why the four star rating, and my recommendation: read this book.
Faith is not afraid of a challenge even though she’s not very experienced yet and she’s also willing to step out of her comfort zone. She is very rational and tries to protect her heart which was a lost cause the moment they met.
I cried in the epilogue, but am not normally emotional like this. So obviously I liked the book.
I received a copy from Hidden Gems and this is my honest and voluntary review
Faith desperately needs a job, so she takes a friends advise and sends in a resume. She even goes in for an interview, but she's in the dark as to what the job is actually for. When she meets Mr Lawrence, she finds out in a very unorthodox way and accepts. Her life will never be the same. This romance will keep you guessing from page one. Great story with great characters. Must Read!!! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am leaving my honest review.
Billionaire Boss is a hot read. Faith finds herself needing a job and the one she finds is more than she bargained for. Lawrence runs the company and the co-workers are encouraged to do more than just work. Rules are meant to be broken how ever falling in love in not. Faith does the only thing she can she walks away. But, will she get the HEA... I received a copy for an honest review.
I was hoping this story was going to be RH. Too bad it wasn't. That would have given it more stars. I didn't like that fact that the MC was falling for her boss while still "performing job duties" as the boss tells her to. Not not what I want in way of romance for me. The sex scenes are super hot, but the situations are not.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was okay. It wasn't a favorite but it also wasn't bad either. There was a lot of hot action but not a lot of plot. It made it difficult to connect to or really get to know the characters. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
If you enjoy a good taboo used in the workplace smoking hot read then this is for you.I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would. While it's not my fantasy to be passed around by several bosses this was a very good read and I really did enjoy it and cannot wait to try more from Tiffany
Billionaire Boss: The Collection by Tiffany Allee Definitely different than your average story-line and for that I enjoyed reading it. "I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review."
A very sexy erotic book. Love the mmf scenes and how lawrence a billionaire boss falls for Faith his employee. Love it how the different men at work do Faith and the spankings love them.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Well, I'm not quite sure what to male put of this book - it reminds me a lot of Mr. Grey and his 50 shades... Anyway, if you into little talk and lot of acting in a story this might be the one for you. I prefer a interesting plot and deeply developed characters. Unfortunately neither Mr. Lawrence nor Faith fit that request.
