I wanted to really love this but it didn't. In the beginning we meet Vince and for a rough biker he was chatting with his friend about finding an innocent woman with no tattoos and if they have kids good, then he talks about 'Love'. What biker wants to sit down and complain none of the girls hes with dont want to do love and just want sex, that throw me. Dont get me wrong there is plenty of passion but it was just a bit to sweet for me when dealing with a biker.

Ok this was a cute quick read but not as edgie as I had hoped for a MC book. And what is a fathered-husband??? Was she trying to say fat headed husband? Didn't get that.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book based on an advanced readers copy I received. I really enjoyed reading this book by Heather West because I love MC romance stories and I love Heathers work. Vince is part of a MC who is look for the girl of his dreams. Crystal is recently divorced and looking to step out if her comfort zone a little. The day she stops by the tattoo shop Vince owns, is the day both of their lives change forever. This book is full of drama, suspense and has that happy ending we all hope for in a romance story.

I was surprised by the MC story. While they may have some illegal methods, they're good guy. Vince/Saw knows exactly what he wants and goes for it. Krystal is recovering from her marriage and hesitant to do much until life forces her to. Vince steps up to help--at a cost. Great story!

What a surprising read; for me this book was a combination of smoking hot bedroom scenes with a romantic suspense twist. Devilishly handsome and with mostly good intentions, Vince "Saw" Holmes was a refreshing character who proves that not all MC books and characters are rough, edgy or criminals. Perfect book boyfriend and an absolute heart warming tale.
Krystal starts off as a shy librarian who just wants to escape the controlled atmosphere that Paul had manipulated her into during their marriage. She got her wish multiple times over when she said she wanted to start living a more adventurous life. Intrigue, suspense, shady characters, hot guys on bikes and some sizzling scenes make this a 5 star read.

I voluntarily read this book for an honest review. It's not your usual MC book and for that I couldn't quite get into it. It was still a good read but not gripping.

There were too many things that bothered me about this book. First, she wanted a tattoo and basically told her life story to Vince who is a complete stranger. Then after her home was broken into she called Paul and asked him to get Kai but after realizing that her break in had to do with Paul she could have totally beaten Paul to the school. After her son as kidnapped, she was totally calm. She was watching movies, going to work, having sex. The ending was terrible too. Ugh good thing it was on kindle unlimited and I didn't buy it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This was a quick read. For an MC book it was not hard core enough for me, but the story was catching and it held my interest. I would read others in this series.

Newly divorced mom, Krystal, sets out to take charge of her life. While debating outside a tattoo shop, she catches the eye of owner Vince, aka Saw. I could relate to Krystal, after being emotionally beaten down, she wants to make changes to her life and what better way than to get a meaningful tattoo. Different from anything she’d ever thought to do was compounded by agreeing to go on a date with the tatted MC member.
As a mother/grandmother, I would have handled the phone call from the school differently from Krystal, but that would have made for a totally different outcome than was written by Author Heather West. I enjoyed the fast moving/page turning, but also enjoyed the unexpected slowness and tenderness. To trust or not to trust is a good question when you have the police, a new acquaintance and an ex all involved. An enjoyable MC read!

Saw(Vince) is tired of the 'old lady want-to-be's'. He wants someone that is more innocent in the ways of the MC world.
While working his is tattoo shop Krystal window shops. She's always wanted a tattoo. Something that her super controlling ex-husband forbid her to have. After her divorce she's debating about getting one as a sign of independence. Saw has her come into the shop to talk to her about getting a tattoo.
He is instantly attracted to her and knows that she is his 'one'. She fights the attraction as she just got her independence and the MC world is unknown to her.
When things start happening Saw takes her under his protection and the protection of the MC Club.
I enjoyed reading this book. Saw showed great strength is protecting Krystal while also letting her be her own woman.

I could read this book again. I loved how Sawyer was unlike the typical Biker that your read about. Not looking for someone who is just willing to have fun. He wants someone who has been sheltered in their life. Who is looking to broaden their horizons. Krystal becomes that woman the minute she walks into his tattoo shop. Looking to get her life back after an awful marriage and divorce.

I liked this i wanted to like it more,the premis of the story was good but I do like my bikers with a bit more grit. At the beginning of the book Saw/Vince is bemoaning the fact he has no love in his life,I kind of wanted him to man up a bit. I did like the basic story i just wanted more , this was my first book by this author I will probably try another I always give new authors a couple of books to see if I like them.
Overall an ok read a few grammatical errors but not enough to annoy me.

This is a Broken Spears MC dark romance. It is full of suspense at every page you turn. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. Saw aka Vince is a member of the Broken Spears MC. He is a tatoo artist. He has been waiting for the right girl to come along for so long. He has an image of the perfect women and he wont settle for less. Krystal is recently divorced from a very controlling man. When Krystal walks up to Vince's tatooe shop, Vince knows he has finally found the women of his dreams. When the skeletons in Krystal's closet come out to play can Vince and the guys from the MC keep her and her son safe.... So, if you like some suspense with your romance this is the book for you.

I finished the book purely because the story had potential. As a biker romance I expected to find alpha males with BA attitudes, and was sorely disappointed. The characters fell flat.

Inked is a quick MC story with a little bit of action and romance. This is Vince "Saw" and Krystal's story. Vince is a tattoo artist/owner by day and part of the Broken Spears MC. Krystal is recently divorced and is trying to find herslef. Who knew wanting to get a tatoo would lead into all kinds of things, good and/or bad. Why Inked by Heather West? Have to confess! It was the cover that made me read this! Yes I know how shallow that sounds but it just called...
So to the content: it was an ok story about Vince/Saw, a tattoo artist and MC member with his two older brothers, whose looking for his ideal women. She's got to be an innocent he can dirty up & teach; an unblemished, pale beauty to be his muse that he can use like a canvas for his work...
He meets his ideal women who is freshly divorced & wants to make some changes starting with a small tattoo. An escape for a couple of hours.
I read the two additional stories and enjoyed them.
