The Devil in Her

by Norman Firth

THE DEVIL IN HER sees Doctor Alan Carter returning to England to stay with an old friend, Colonel Merton, after seven arduous years abroad - only to receive a terrible shock. He first encounters frightened locals who tell him tales of a ghostly woman in filmy white roaming the moors and slaughtering animals. Dismissing their warnings, he proceeds to Merton Lodge - and into a maze of mystery and death. While in SHE VAMPED A STRANGLER, private detective Rodney Granger investigates a case of robbery and murder in the upper echelons of society.
