I couldn't put it down. Sheriff Cammie is a strong and interesting character. I would like to meet her. The mysteries are fascinating. The story is complex, twisty and fun. I will be reading more from this series!

Book 2 in the Twin Pond Series continues to be a great goodread. B.T. Lord has gotten my attention with her writing style of perfectly chosen words that flow into descriptive, suspenseful visuals that created this puzzling storyline of mysterious deaths and witchcraft. Cammie as sheriff shows she not invincible, which makes good reading but not so good is reading her wavering thoughts on Jace and love till the end. Still love her though, along with all the characters Lord develops with enough depth the reader knows and has an understanding of what makes them tick. It’s book 3 for me!

Very exciting story about a small town Maine sheriff who deals with more murders and stranger murders, than one might reasonably ever expect to find among such a small population. But I liked the book.

This was, again, a very good book. However I gave it only 3 stars instead of the 4 I gave the 1st book in the series. My reasoning is that within this great story is a bit too much cuteness, romance, and soap opera for my taste. It worked in a one-off book, but it gets tiresome in a long series. I'll be taking a break from these books for a while. But I will continue to read them.

Still good

There are lots of twists and turns and plenty of strange happenings in this one. Just when I thought I'd figured out the mystery, bam another twist and a surprise. I also agree with what the author has the character, Paul, say about will and what might be owed. Interesting read.

I enjoyed this book very much

This book kept me guessing to the very end. I never came close to figuring out who the murderer was.

I read the first book in the series, and it was no where close to being as good as this book, but I enjoyed that book as well.

A spell binding read that was difficult to put down.

A definite five star novel. A complex mystery with many characters interacting with one another. The ending was totally unexpected and tied together the many aspects of the novel.

Suspense, witch craft and relationships

B. T. Lord kept me intrigued with this murder mystery. I couldn't decide who was causing the victims to die from fear. If you like mystery, this story will entertain you.

Cammie, Doc, Jace, and all of the other Twin Pond characters are back to solve a mystery with a supernatural element. A really cool change up from the first book.

Silly, with ghosts and gillies and and things that go bump in the night. But readable.

Another enjoyable story by B. T. Lord. She is slowly becoming one of my favorite authors. Don't know what draws me to a book, but she has it.

This one is ok.

I didn't like it as much as the first. But it was good enough to have me move on to the next one.
