Jeanette lives just outside St. Louis with her husband, daughter and their lovable-but-stupid Goldendoodle. When she's not writing her next romance, she's found hanging out with the new friends she's made here, catching up with old friends from past duty stations on Facebook, or surfing Pinterest pretending she can cook. Catch up with her on Facebook or Twitter for contests, sneak peeks of what she's working on, and updates about her life in general.
Good edition to this series. Sometimes you just half to go with the older folk. Clay is 42, a quarterback coach, and looking forward to one day having his own family. Kristen is 38, a divorced mother of a teenage boy, and looking forward to her empty nest days. It's a story of love and loss and compromise and family.
Well, you think you know it and then suddenly you don't. Both the characters in the book and I were surprised at the change of direction. Good story with likable characters.
It is rare an author can take me by surprise and Jeanette Murray did just that. I loved every single thing about this book. Clay and Kristen stole my heart. Stanley and Isaac were great additions. I was so absorbed in this book that I gave up some sleep to read it.
I admit that this story made me cry a couple times. I totally recommend this book. the entire series is actually pretty great.
