There's no doubt about it, this book is hot AF! The initial sexual tension-- then later the actual sex scenes should ignite the pages of the book. They should all go up in flames!
Here's the breakdown: The first daughter is a bit of a mess. Her family life changed significantly after her father was elected to office. She misses having a caring and doting family and struggles to fit into the society scene. In order to feel connected to another person, she makes a questionable decision that lands her in major trouble with her smoking hot secret service agent.
What I loved: The sexual tension was palpable. I loved the build up. The steamy bits were scorching.
For the most part, I enjoyed the main characters. Though I wished Charlotte was a little more assertive initially.
Zane was close to perfect. Hot, alpha, dominant, and everything you want in a romance hero.
"I want to crawl inside her soul, possess her, save her, ruin her from ever wanting another man."
Gah! He was fracking amazing! I loved him.
My only issue with book as a whole was that some of sex scenes seems a bit redundant. A few of the phrases used were what I'd termed "typical D/s speak". It wasn't a major issue, but was noticeable.
Overall, it's a fantastically steamy read that will entertain romance readers who enjoy elements of BDSM, action, and forbidden romance.

Charlotte Daley is the First Daughter. Zane is her assigned secret service agent. It wasn’t love at first sight but their lust practically sizzled off the pages. It was the initial sexual tension, the steady build of their chemistry, to when they finally gave in to their urges that had me fanning myself more times than I want to admit. Their relationship put Zane’s career at risk so everything had to be done in the quiet. Not only were Charlotte’s parents the POTUS and FLOTUS, but they were cold and clinical in their treatment of their daughter and wouldn’t understand or care where her heart led her.
This was one of the easiest books that I’ve read this entire year. It had everything necessary to entertain me and I couldn’t put it down. Their sex scenes were scorching and intimate. Where do I begin? This book absolutely blew me away!!!! It was like fireworks on the Fourth of July! Meredith and Mia together, is something that clearly is LONG overdue!! Charlotte Daley is the First Daughter, and her parents...well, they could use some parenting classes.
Zane. Zane Zane Zane....Holy Hotness. Let's just say I haven't stopped thinking about him. I've been trying to figure out a way to hire my own secret service. Ladies (and Gents too) you will be so in love with this man and this book!
I can not say enough good things about this book! It is so sexy! The story line is incredible...the twists and turns, ups and downs. You never know whats going to come next. Meredith and Mia keep you on your toes....and keep you hot every step of the way!!!! My only complaint was that it ended too soon!

Misadventures of the First Daughter was a quick and lascivious tale that was loaded with sexy musings, angst, precarious situations, and breath-stealing erotic scenes – I was gasping like an escaped goldfish. My Kindle was burning through its battery and near meltdown. I recommend gathering your favorite libations to prevent dehydration and setting all fans to high. Zane had secretly lusted after his Secret Service assignment for over a year. Charlotte was a rather spineless and miserable twenty-year-old puppet/daughter of a cold and ambitious woman and a career politician who had parlayed themselves right into the White House. Their paths crossed after hours in a posh underground club where people went to secretly get their freak on, and they sorta did. What followed were a few extra steamy days and nights of titillating and bawdy texting and stolen moments that were sizzling, salacious, and incendiary. Oh my - this couple had death-defying and superhuman endurance as they went at it like porn stars. I wanted a steamy read and I was thinking about all the authors I could read from. I then remembered the Misadventures series! This series is awesome, I love that each book is written by a different author and I love that each have a theme. Oh and did I mention all of them are SUPER steamy.
Misadventures of the First Daughter has the highest rating out of the series and out of the three books, it’s my favorite.

Charlotte is a spoiled brat and she wants to live her own life, but her parents are very controlling. The book starts out with a bang, like really, Charlotte almost gets fucked doggy style and Zane is there to protect her.
Zane is attracted to Charlotte but he can’t do anything about it because of his job, or can he?
This is an insta-lust read and Charlotte and Zane are hot together. You don’t get much else out of the book, but for what I was in the mood for, I’ll take it.
It was easy, it was enjoyable and it won’t be the last book I read from this series.

Charlotte is the presidents daughter. Zane is her super hot broody bodyguard. Need I say more? Ok I will.
Charlotte has been ignored by her parents most of her life. She's just a piece that they move around the game board that is their life. As of late she's been going a little off the deep end, because she just wants some attention even if it's negative. Especially if it's in the form of her attractive bodyguard! Zane is a no nonsense body guard. He wants to keep Charlotte on a tight leash, but she likes to tug a bit. Is he attracted to her? Hell yes, but his job is number one. Protect her, not sex her. So there's no way he could act on it... right? Hmm... I guess you'll have to read and see.
Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle do a fabulous job in this installation of Misadventures! Not only are the characters of Charlotte & Zane very entertaining, but their friends and side characters are as well. I may not have liked everyone, but they definitely made me feel things! That's what a well written character does. They make you feel emotions about them! This story was full of naughty bits, and very hot. These two have a bit of tension built up that we don't get to read, but when they finally come together it's explosive and you can feel the tension releasing!
A good read. It's emotional. It's angsty. It's hot. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend Misadventures of the First Daughter!

Another book in the Misadventures series that I couldn't put down. Charlotte is the first daughter who is acting out and his out of control. Zane is the secret service agent protecting Charlotte but he has craved for so much more. Their chemistry is off the charts and there sex is smokin hot. They have to keep there relationship a secret but everyone knows secrets always comes out, especially went Nate wants what Charlotte want give him. This was a good story that had me not wanting to put my kindle down.

This was my first ever read by Meredith Wild and my first foray into the "Misadventures" series.
It sounded like a good read but I was surprised by just how easy and entertaining this book really is.
I read it from start to finish without interruptions. I was immediately absorbed and enjoyed it immensely. Talk about hot and steamy, the build up and sex scenes between Zane and Charlotte were absolutely scorching.
It is told from a dual POV, which I think works really well for this novel. I liked the low drama vs high entertainment quota it provided.

I received this as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Fantastic plot, sexy scenes, Dominant man, and forbidden love. While reading you can't help but cheer for Charlotte and Zane. However I did want to slap Charlottes mother in the face even if she is the First Lady. This is the third Misadventures book I have read and Meredith and Mia keep you from putting this book down until the last page is turned and wanting Charolette and Zane's story to continue!

Geez Louise. If you're looking for a super hot romance with lots of erotica and sex scenes littered throughout, with just a pinch of thriller in it, GRAB THIS BOOK.
I have a fond place for Meredith Wild. She is one of the authors that "introduced" me to erotica in romance. I wasn't totally into erotica after reading Fifty Shades of Grey, but Meredith and a few other writers introduced me to how romantic and sexy erotica could be. It was only natural for me to want to pick up some more books by her and give them a chance.
Misadventures of the First Daughter is an excellent romp for you to thrust into (haha, puns!) and I'd highly recommend it if you like romance and erotica.
So, plot time:
Charlotte is the First Daughter and her parents are rather strict. She starts rebelling and seeking all the fun in the world, meanwhile Zane Parker, her bodyguard, watches on. She has always kind of liked him, and suddenly those sparks are flying. They get entangled in a romantic web that they might not be able to save... Especially since their love is forbidden.
This book can be touchy for some people. There's hints of sexual assault in it, so be wary. Otherwise, it's a great erotica that kept me stringing along the entire time. There's just so much tension in it that it is impressive! I absolutely want to pick up more of this series, especially since it dabbles with other authors as well. This Misadventures series seems like it'll be a great romantic series for anyone to pick up. Surely there will be an author you enjoy in this collection!
Overall, it's a great read! I highly recommend my fellow romance and erotica lovers to give this book a go! Good job Meredith and Mia!

Charlotte is the president’s daughter. Zane is this sexy secret service bodyguard who’ll do anything to protect her. The attraction between the two is undeniably there from the start. Will they act on that attraction?
The collaboration of Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle is pretty awesome. It’s fast-paced, no downtime reading this book and one of my fastest read actually because each scene is so well-written that you cannot afford to put it down until you reach the last page. A contemporary romance with a little Dom/sub-element at best and it was a great read for me. Highly recommended!

Since Charlotte's father has been elected to President, she has been an afterthought to her parents. When they do think of her, it's in criticism and constant control of her life. She's desperate to gain back some of her own control but lacks the maturity to make the right decisions.
Zane has been fighting his attraction to Charlotte since he was assigned to her detail. He's had enough of her bad decisions when the latest brings her to the attention of someone who won't take no for an answer. Zane is a Dominant and he knows the best way to bring control into Charlotte's life.
This was a hot little read. Zane comes off as cold and unfeeling but you see him defrost the further you get into the story. Charlotte was a bit too immature for me but Zane definitely makes this story. I enjoy reading an H that starts out all tough and melts for his heroine.

Really a 2.5 star read. While entertaining in a lot of the parts, this book DRAGGED. It could have saved me the weird ending and the whole parents wanting to stop their daughters relationship drama. This book could have easily been 200 pages and chop the rest.

I normally steer away from romances featuring a college aged heroine. However, I am so glad I took a chance on this one! Sure Charlotte has some issues that stem from her age but then she is also dealing with the fact that her father is the President and she is always in the public eye. Not to mention her parents are more focused on politics than they have ever been on their daughter. Fortunately she has two secret service agents that are giving her the attention she needs. One is like a father and the other, Zane is anything but!
Zane has had a crush on Charlotte for months but knows she is off limits. But when Zane takes a night off and is at a BDSM club who should he see sneaking in but Charlotte. This was a great story of forbidden romance and full of some very sexy scenes. In fact it was tough to put down my Kindle until I finished the story! Looking forward to more in the Misadventure series and from Meredith Wild.

Charlotte and Zane's chemistry is undeniable, making their connection one red hot affair! But, that's not where their story begins nor ends. Both characters are very well developed and for a fast paced novel, that's like giving someone on a diet a big fat piece of chocolate cake!
Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild have done something with this novel that will captivate you completely all while leaving your heart a mess at times. But don't worry, Misadventures of the First Daughter is happily ever after guaranteed!

I’ve been mulling over what to say in this review for a bit because it’s always difficult for me to do a review of a book that falls firmly into my “Liked” folder which means I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it.
I simply liked the book.
So, with it making me a little wonky, we’re going to keep this short and simple. It was hot as all get out, Zane is…*fans self* and I did find myself wanting to see just how everything unfolded for Zane and Charlotte, but I never got past simply liking either of them. Zane was pretty straight forward in who he was: Good man. Protector. Dominant. Charlotte...I got her. I understood why she did the things she did, and even empathized with her situation, but I just couldn’t get past liking her in general. Their journey was a mish mash of “holy hotness” and “seriously???” for me and the cray cray tossed into the mix wasn’t all that unexpected, but damn. In the end though, I liked where they both ended up.
The writing was engaging and done seamlessly. Of the secondary characters, I loved Chester, and wouldn’t mind getting more of Demitri. I wanted to love this one more than I did, but it was a still a good, quick read in the end.

This is the second Misadventures book I've read, and I have to say I quite enjoyed it! Charlotte is the First Daughter trying to find independence in a world where she lacks real freedom. After saving Charlotte from an encounter with a senator's son, Secret Service member Zane becomes romantically involved with the woman he is supposed to protect. This book was steamy and easy to get sucked into and binge read. My only criticism is that part of the plot of this book was very, very reminiscent of the conflict in Meredith Wild's Hacker series. It sort of felt like I was reading the same story again. Luckily the plot ends up diverging enough to let this book stand on its own in the end. I'd recommend it for anyone interested in a quick, sexy read.

Hot and sexy are the first words that come to mind when reading this one. Misadventures of the First Daughter is a amazing. I love the way Charlotte tries to break out of the perfect mold that she doesn't want to be in. And Zane....Zane the dominate hotness who is in charge of her protection. You can feel the attraction the fight. I did get teary eyed in this one a little bit. But that was a good thing. I love Zane and Charlotte. This one had an amazing balance of the sexy dominate side to the action. Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild did a fabulous job. I didn't want this one to end.

This book was amazing. So grateful for the opportunity to read it before its release. The story of Charlotte and Zane is a page turner for sure. I couldn't put it down. Meredith and Mia have outdone themselves. If you're into steamy, hot, dramatic love stories then you definitely want to put this on your "want to read" list.

I'm not always a fan of dominant/submissive storylines but this one caught my eye and attention. I've become a fan of Meredith Wild and enjoy her writing style. Some authors hook you from the beginning and keep you there, she is one of them. I did think that sometimes Charlotte acted kind of immature but reading how her parents treated her, it was understandable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a spicy read that's sure to please.

Zane is one sexy man, "I sidle up behind her so her back is flush with my front. I lower my lips to whisper in her ear. “Are you trying to get me to feed you or eff you, Charlotte?” I liked this book, I loved Zane the man knew how to handle his girl.

I am shocked this book didn't spontaneously combust by the last page. Misadventures of the First Daughter is a provocative, sexy as hell, thrill a minute!
The Misadventure series has struck gold again. Charlotte and Zane are my new favorite couple. The dialogue is edgy and honest. The relationships between the entire cast of characters is varied- there is a lot going on, but time stands still when Charlotte and Zane are together.
I beseech the authors, Meredith Wild and Mia Michelle, to give us more! I always ask for more, but in this case I absolutely know there is more story to tell.
