Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

This book had me crying, scared, speechless but at just the right time, it had hope rising within me and the light of love shine through! This book really was an emotionally charged story that felt horribly real at times yet it was really well written. A story that had both good, bad, and everything in between to keep me interested.

The characters were so complicated...not in the way that they were written poorly but in a way to show us readers the kind of life they had and were leading. OMG it was such an eye opening story. One that had my blood pumping madly through my veins.

This started out really good unfortunately it went downhill fast for me anyway. The reason why i stopped reading this book was because the heroine who has been forced to have sex with countless strangers meets our hero and automatically starts drooling after him, oh and also she had just been made to sleep with another man a few hours before, but that isn't the worst of it our heroine meets the hero for the first time when she is taking her daughter to the hospital to get checked out as she seems very ill. Now what mother would lust after another man while her daughter could be seriously ill.

This dark romance is the story of two who suffered from extreme abuse as children and meet when Isabella decides to escape with her daughter. When she meets the handsome doctor she has no idea of the nightmares and battle he has daily. This touching love story is about 2 who suffering alone brings them together with the hopes of healing the past. Lots of twist and turns and yes may include violence and possible triggers.
