Heiress Tia Noel finds herself in the center of a maelstrom after she accidentally ingests a magic potion and becomes a musclebound, bulletproof menace to bad guys.
Making the situation even worse is her love for her scientist boss, Dr. Batterson, who falls for her flirty Aunt Cappy.
Plus there is the Vigilante Trio; a group of obnoxious street girls led by an evil Svengali, Geoffrey Gaunt, one of Cappy's past loves who has a plan of revenge.
Add to that the arrival of Dr. Batterson's clone of a son, who has eyes only for Tia, and things really start to get interesting.
Crimefighting isn't all it's hyped-up to be, as Tia soon finds out!
With character names that belong to “anime”, a magic potion that “changes” Tia into an enormous being of extra-strength (think Hulk) and the requisite bad guy “Gaunt” who uses the Vigilante Trio for revenge and mayhem (think the Penguin). So when a police presence appears you have the elements of a Super Hero comic.
Reading this was like watching a “hero” comic book come alive in my mind’s eye so vivid were the descriptions. This is a fast read as the author promised and very different from what I usually read.
