Ignite was yet again another book in this series that I really enjoyed. I loved Ace and Quinn together, the only complaint about their relationship that I had was if she had not showed up would he have gone back for her. As with the other books in this series the story moves along quickly and the ending is wrapped up nicely but I really like it so its not a problem for me. I look forward to more in this series.

Ignite is the fourth book in the Savage Disciples MC (formerly Disciples Daughters) by Drew Elyse. It was entertaining and captivating from the beginning to the end.

Elyse had provided teasers for Ace's story since the beginning. We knew he had a big secret; however, we had no inclination on what or how big. He was gorgeous, a flirt, a good friend to Jagar and Ember (book 3) and loyal.

Quinn was a new addition. She was beautiful and sassy. We learned quickly that she had a backbone and that Quinn and Ace had history. We knew Ace made a huge mistake that separated them for several years but it took awhile for the actual storyline to unravel. Once it did, it became a journey of forgiveness, healing, rediscovery and second chances mixed in with a little suspense.

I loved the storyline and the character development.

I also loved the development of the supporting cast of characters, most of which we've experienced their forever love stories; however, we still have several to go. We finally get Daz's story next and I can't wait to see where Elyse takes us next!

Stopped reading at 28%, skimmed for a bit then gave up completely at 35%.

Not a fan of books where the husband takes off and disappears for two years (and his reason for leaving was stupid)! He never gets in touch, never lets her know that he was shot and in hospital. But when SHE hires an investigator to find him so she can give him divorce papers, all of a sudden he loves her and wants her back??! And they do. No grovel. No trying to make up for it. She gets sick, he looks after her for a few days while she recovers then they're having sex as soon as she's better and they're back together. The end.

Oh and Ember was a nosy pain in the arse! I just wanted to slap her and tell her to mind her own fucking business. She had her book so she needed to fuck off.

4 Little bird stars.

I loved this book! A second chance romance MC style. Quinn belonged to Ace and he wasn't letting her go again.

Seperated for two years Quinn tracks Jack down needing divorce papers signing but Jack is now Ace and a member of the Savage Disciplines MC.

Great characters, an enjoyable engaging story with hotness, told in dual pov's.

Ignite is a light read for an MC with humor, likeable extended characters and minimal club business.

Recommended MC read, looking forward to Daz's story I was completely hooked the minute I read he was the manwhore of the MC who doesent believe in realationships, so yes, I'm looking forward to see who tames him.

I haven't read previous books, this is a standalone alone, doesn't have any spoilers regarding previous story's so I'm looking forward to reading those too.

Arc gratefully received for review purposes

So, this was book 4 in this series. I had no clue LOL But have no fear! It can be read as a stand alone. I had no problem keeping up. Would I have appreciated the connections between the characters more if I had read the previous ones? Of course. I'll be going back to read the others, especially Ember and Jager's story ;)

What we have here is a second chance love story between Ace/Jack and Quinn. They were married after a whirlwind romance and he left her not long after. He's been gone TWO WHOLE YEARS and she finds him so she can get him to sign the divorce papers that he refuses to sign. And this is why I didn't give it five stars...he acted like he had no intention of going back to her, but he got rid of the divorce papers. WHY????? But once he saw her, he didn't want to let her go. Other than that, I loved this! There was just enough action to balance the romance and biker business. Quinn was quirky and nerdy while Ace indulged her like a man in love :)

I'm a happy happy girl.. Ace got his story, I got my questions answered & I fell in love with some new characters brought inside the Disciples circle in the form of Quinn & her bestie Max.

This entire book, was a true story of love.. It was about love at first sight, love lost & then the most gorgeous story of second chance love. I sighed, swooned & smiled my way from start to finish - Ace & Quinn were just so damn gorgeous & cute & moreish lol.

They say one moment can change your life, and that moment for our Jack / Ace was spotting Quinn for the very first time. His world tipped on It's axis & he knew straight away she was the one. Love hit them hard, promises were made & commitments were given, but as quick as it came - it went. Without explanation. Jump forward 2 years & the pair are brought together once more, as Quinn searches for answers & a signature as well as closure to the pain she has carried for too long.

Their reunion was tense, angsty & raw, pulling on my heart strings as I saw them both stripped bare. On one hand there was Quinn, hurt & angry, yet still full of love for the man who broke her heart. She tries so hard to keep that invisible wall upright, but love is love & I adored how she met the past head on, stayed true to her heart & accepted that sometimes actions & consequences can be forgiven, as long as the heart has the capacity to move on & love completely.

Then there is Jack/Ace, and for me he stole the show. He is the type of alpha that calls to me. He made my heart soar & my soul sing. Although a pure alpha, his absolute determination to own the past mistakes was just beautiful. Not once was he prepared to put that at Quinn's feet, not once did he expect forgiveness or a second chance, he just trusted in his love, in their love & hoped beyond life itself that he would get a chance to to love her again.. only this time for a life time. I loved everything he said, the power of his actions, his steely determination, but most of all, is unconditional & all encompassing love for Quinn. Sigggggh I loved this man.

This entire book was so easy to read & get lost in. The plot twists were good, the pace was steady & the angst was subtle which I loved. I didn't want to be distracted or pulled from pillar to post, I wanted to enjoy every beautiful layer of this special second chance journey, by two gorgeous characters.. And that's what I got.

Sad to say that while I liked this one, I just wasn't as into it as the other books in the series. This one seemed to move a lot faster then the previous ones. Fast, I'm okay with, but when it feels like it misses some depth for me, not so much. Overall, I'd still fully recommend it.

What Is It About:
Quinn is a librarian with a serious love of fandoms. She ends up taking two weeks off work and hiring a Private Investigator to help find her husband Jack so that she can serve him with the divorce papers that he refuses to sign after two years.
Ace has been keeping a secret from his Motorcycle Club from the start until one day, his secret walks right into a club party. His wife comes in with the divorce papers but he manages to get her to agree with staying for a week; if he can't convince her to stay with him and still be married by the end of it, then he'll sign her papers.

What I Liked and Didn't:
I've been waiting for Ace's book, especially after Ember asked if he was gay. But I hate to say it, I was kinda disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I liked that Ace got his own happy ending and Quinn was a geeky character that I couldn't help but like. But considering how big a secret it was supposed to have been, it wasn't exciting enough. He was married after knowing her for two weeks and left because he thought she could do better, that's it. Nothing traumatic or dramatic, just self-hatred that meant he left the woman he loved. So I was disappointed.
Nor did I particularly care for the plot. It seemed to spiral out of control, sibling rivalry that ends up almost ruining everyone's life, seems a bit excessive. Plus, there wasn't really that much suspense, it just all seemed to happen at once. I understand that it was meant to be surprising but suspense if still needed otherwise the drama comes out of nowhere.

Final Thoughts:
I probably wouldn't have been annoyed with the plot if it were anyone else but I've been waiting for Ace's book since the first books so it's safe to say that my expectations were set a bit too high.
Would I recommend it? I'd recommend the series as a whole.
Will I be carrying on the series? I think so, it'll be interesting to see Daz finally brought down by a woman.

This the first book that i've read from Drew Elyse and even though this is the 4th book in the Savage Disciples series, it can be read as a standalone. It has made me want to go to the beginning and get better acquainted with the other characters. Hearing bits of their stories has got me interested in them.

Ignite focuses on Ace/Jack not many in his MC know about Quinn so when she turns up out of the blue he has a lot to explain first off why he never told them he was married!!

Quinn has been searching for her estranged husband. He broke her heart the day he up and left and two years down the line she still has never got the answers she wants or deserved. He's also never signed the divorce papers issued to him and for some reason he has hard to track down. But not anymore she's about to end things once and for all hopefully getting the closure she needs, because she's never moved on.

What she doesn't count on is that when Ace see's her he knows he messed up letting her go and is not going to let her go a second time!! All bets are off he wants her back and he will do anything and everything to earn back her trust and ultimately love.

This was an easy read low on drama and angst it was a second chance romance. I loved that Quinn was a nerdy girl and Ace truly loved her for her.

definitely a series that numbers among my favourites and this beautiful second chance love story lived up to the earlier titles. great story, wonderful writing style, likeable characters .. nothing more to say except it is an easy five star read for me (10/3/17)

23/7/17 - a quick reread as book 5 is due out this week - great book - enjoyed it just as much the second time round

13/1/18 - one of my very fave series. first read when the original three books were released as the Disciples' Daughters, though the series evolved to the Savage Disciples MC. tough alpha males, strong loving females, wonderful children. plenty of action, danger, romance but the overall theme I see as family. love the writing style, the stories and the characters. a great series that I have no probs reading over again

This is the first book which I have read from this author, and my word, I will be 1-clicking ASAP. This is the 4th book in the Savage Disciples MC series, and if the rest are half as good as this one is, then it is one hell of an awesome series.
When Ace sees Quinn walking into the club house, he knows exactly why she is tracking him down. Will they be able to overcome their issues? You really, really, need to read this awesome series for yourself! No spoilers from me!
This story is action packed, with twists & turns, second chances, and love. I loved the shenanigans of the secondary characters, who are all brilliant. I recommend this authors work for all MC lovers, and I cannot wait to get stuck into more of her books.

This is one of those books again I feel like I have been waiting on forever. I was so happy when I heard Ace was getting his own book. I feel like I have been waiting for this one since Sketch and Ash's book.

I have loved Ace since back in Sketch and Ash's book. And I couldn't wait to get to know him more. Ace is a man who has kind of been dealt a bum deal in life. After losing his mom when he was younger, he had to move in with his father and his family. Even though I felt for him and having to deal with being the outcast in his father's house, Ace had definitely left all that behind and made something of himself. And has even found himself a place to belong and family. Though he is keeping one big secret from them. Though you could tell right away how much he still cared for Quinn.

I thought Quinn was very likable in this book. I thought she was sweet, kind, quiet, and caring. There were a few times where I became a little bit irritated with her and thought there were a few areas where she could have been stronger.

Look as much as I enjoyed and loved this book..... I have to say there kind of felt like there was something missing in it to me. Like there was a disconnect somewhere. Although you could tell how much Quinn and Ace loved and cared for each other still, I never really a real connection between them. Also although we see a few of the Disciples and their women in this book, especially Ember. It just didn't seem like a Savage Disciples book to me. But other than that I did really love it!!!!

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!

I really enjoyed this book love MC stories they have to be one of my favorite genres this is also my first Drew Elyse read, so being that this is book four in the series I thought I'd would be a little lost but that wasn't the case. It gives you all the info so you wont be but I would recommend you read the first three Savage Disciples . I wished I'd knew more about the couples / characters mentioned in Ignite so I know I'll be reading them plus can't wait for #5 . Ace/jack and Quinn/little bird were super likable felt connected to the heroine she was sweet , funny , had her quirks , and she is a book lover girl after my heart . Really wanted to know Aces story and why he left Quinn all those years ago I guess he talked about it in other books but it is explained in this one too , really felt bad for him when it is explained truly heartbreaking for them both he was sexy possessive alpha biker, brave , smart, still madly in love with the heroine faithful threw the separation , and a true romantic . The were supper funny loved them fingers crossed that Ham and Max get a story

This is the first book by Drew I have read however I love MC books so I gave it a go. I wasn’t disappointed at all. In fact I look forward to reading the other books in this series. This is the forth book in the series however it can be read as a standalone with no problem. Ace has been keeping secrets and they are about to catch up to him. He hasn’t been keeping them just from his fellow MC Brothers but from his wife as well. Quinn is Ace’s wife however he left her two years ago and hasn’t seen or talked her since. Quinn has come to finally get a divorce from Ace however does she really want one or is she still hoping to be with Ace? Things aren’t simple. They got together quickly and there is so much they don’t know about each other. Will Quinn coming to Ace give them a shot at a second chance or has Quinn had enough? There are other forces at work and someone is trying to frame the club for something they didn’t do. This book has a bit of mystery, romance, sex, and hot alpha males. I really liked Quinn she has this innocence about her and she is a total nerd. Ace is this big strong biker dude but Quinn can bring him to his knees. He wants this second chance with her so much. He knows he was wrong to leave but he had his reasons. All the characters in this series are fantastic. They pull you in and keep you hooked.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
2nd change romance? YES PLEASE!! Biker? YES PLEASE. Not gonna give up his woman? DOUBLE YES PLEASE!!
So this book is the 4th in a series but trust me when I say you don’t need to read them all because I sure haven’t and I didn’t miss a beat.
Quinn is not a happy woman. She is on the lookout for her husband, Jack/Ace to get him to sign the divorce papers. Quinn is over it and wants this done already. Ace. However is not about to let that woman go!! Quinn is actually all tough but once she sees Ace she kinda melts a bit but I mean …come one…Who wouldn’t!!
Ace was gone but for a very specific reason and he is not going to let that woman go. He is going to convince her that they are supposed to have a forever. I mean who doesn’t want to be chased by an alpha biker??? I mean come one ladies!!
I loved the story even when I wanted to slap them both in the head and just say “ADMIT THE LOVE PEOPLE!!” LOL but we readers do love our angst!!

This is the fourth book in this series but it's the first one I've read and I really enjoyed it so it can definitely be a standalone! After a whirlwind romance and marriage Quinn couldn't have been happier but when her husband ups and leaves without a word her world comes crashing down around her. She waited months before finally realising he wasn't returning and that's when she finally sent the divorce papers. Except he refused to sign them. No matter how many times she sends them he never signs them.

Now years later she's had enough. Having tracked him down, she turns up at the motorcycle club he's joined fully prepared to confront him and find some closure. She just wasn't expecting him to fight to win her back. Ace may have made some mistakes, ok quite a few mistakes but now he's seen Quinn again he can't let her go. Will he be able to win her back?

I really enjoyed this book! I especially enjoyed the drama involving the secondary characters that they had to face, as well as their second chance romance. Although I'm sure reading all of the books in the series would be better I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this as a standalone! Not one to miss.

Ignite (Savage Disciples MC #4) by Drew Elyse Review ♡
5✨
2🌶

I really enjoyed this book!! It is very lighthearted and a fun read. I loved how it had such a good storyline. Ace and Quinn were so perfect for each other and I just loved them together! I love an mc romance but sometimes you just crave a story that is on the shorter side but still amazing and this was definitely that!!

They were so cute and I loved how we got a glimpse into their future together aka having a family and getting married. I also loved how he was protective of her but such an alpha male when with others. I loved how feisty she was but also such a kind and sweet person. I also loved the chemistry they had and the sexual tension. I loved how she grew stronger in herself and grew as a person while healing from what happened to her. I loved how all the Disciples were so protective of her. I just love the Disciples family!! They are all so protective and sweet and I can’t wait to read the rest of the boys’ stories!

This is the fourth book in the Savage Disciple’s series and I can’t wait to read the rest!! Everyone check out the Savage Disciples MC series if you like anything MC or tattooed alpha males. Also, check out the author Drew Elyse as I have read many of her books now and they are just so good!!

Quinn just needs Jack to finally sign their divorce papers so she can leave town again. But when she finally tracks him down at a biker club of all places - she remembers exactly why they ended up together the first time around. Ace - as he goes by now - has a motorcycle club and a job but that is about it. After leaving behind his heart and the only woman he has ever loved he doesn’t deserve much else - but the minute she walks back into his life - he knows that he will do anything to keep her there.

I am always a sucker for a second chance romance but this was an especially fun twist - Jack “Ace” Weise is a badass biker mechanic and is all rough edges and bleeding heart and Quinn is just all cute and cuddly hot librarian nerd that just wraps Jack all up in knots and it is awesome. Jack really screwed up and knows it and is dealing with it but it is great fun to watch them deal with their issues and admit where it went wrong. Not to mention - swearingly sweet and sexy times abound!

Ignite (Savage Disciples MC, #4) by Drew Elyse is the story of Jack aka as Ace to his brothers. He has been keeping a secret and when Quinn walks in the clubhouse he has no choice but to reveal his secret. Quinn has tracked down the man that walked out on her 2 years ago without an explanation. She has driven 4 hours to confront Jack. She wants closure and to be done with him but Jack has other plans in mind. I can say that you can read this book as a standalone but it does help to know the back story of the other characters that make an appearance. Jack has one week to rekindle the love he and Quinn shared. I really liked this story and the way in which the author tells it. And what would any MC book be if there wasn’t some sort of trouble following the members. Their trouble was quite the twist I sure did not see it coming. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this story and look forward to the next installment. I give this story 4 stars.

Josie's Review 4.5 Stars

I’m a huge fan of this series and this author so it goes without saying that I enjoyed this book. Ignite for me was a story about second chances and your one and only true love. It sounds cliché I know but this story is the epitome of love.

I waited to get Aces story for a while and the author did not disappoint. Ace was swoon worthy, adorable and hot. The story of Ace and Quinn goes back 2 years ago and how as soon as Ace saw Quinn his life changed. We go from past to present and we are able to see the love and connection between the two characters. Something happens and Ace just leaves Quinn after he promises to be her forever. Years later Quinn takes a huge leap of faith and goes to find Ace for answers and for closure.

Their reunion is tense, bitter and full of drama but oh so good. Quinn was easy to understand, she was hurt, angry and distrustful of Ace. Ace for me was an epic character. He knows he made a mistake all those years ago but isn’t willing to let Quinn go ever again. Aces determination and willingness to fight for their love was perfect. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t shift blame to Quinn.

I loved how the author wrote this story. It was the telling of a man who truly loved this woman but let things get in the way. We don’t get a happy reunion it’s one that doesn’t happen overnight. Quinn has to be able to trust Ace despite how she feels for him. Ace has to show Quinn that he can be trusted and even though they were apart there was no other woman for him. This was a great read, not too much drama. There was a twist in this book but the overall focus was on the two main characters. I enjoyed how the author was able to keep the plot interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Ignite is #4 in Savage Disciples MC series, it can be read as a standalone

I couldn't wait for Ace's story after falling for him in Sketch and Ash's story. And sorry to say I was a little disappointed.
I'm not saying I hated his story, just expected more.
I'm all for love at first sight, fate and what not, But seriously, why tell that one person that you knew that she was the one and marry her after two weeks of knowing each other, just to leave her two weeks later with no word or reason why. And then two years later when she finds you to serve you divorce papers, ones you keep destroying because you don't want a divorce, you decide you want her back? Really? This drove me crazy.
I liked Quinn, but really wish she had more of a backbone.
I can't say I hated this book, because I hate not book and really like This series and Drew Elyse's writing. This book just didn't do it for me. I do look forward to reading more from this author.

I absolutely loved the book, both the leads were amazing. H had a very stupid reason to leave h two years back but he regretted it and it's shown.

What I actually loved the most is that, both the leads were celibate for those two years. H admits he tried moving on with ow once, but it felt so disgusting that he did not even think about moving on ever again.

We get little flashbacks about the time they met, how they met, not detailed but it's enough for us to know how much H adores the h.

Also, the previous book character, Ember, irritated the heck in this book with her constant jabbling and always wanting to know what's happening in H and h's life, like girl we know you're good and awesome, but stop meddling in others life!

I was given this book for an honest review.

3.5 stars

This is your second chance book. It made me feel a little weird saying that because it is also a mc book, but the feel isn't that at all. I mean you have bits and pieces about the mc in this book, but it is really more about Quinn and Ace and what happened to them two years ago and why Ace left. There was a lot of back story of this book that I would have liked to know and I thought it was skimmed over during the book. The book is extremely fast paced and you will get through this book in no time. I don't know if I would even call it a second chance romance because they never fell out of love, I think Quinn always knew that he was going to come back or when she found him she was never going to leave. They both have intense feelings for each other that no one would understand but you left to wonder why Ace would leave Quinn. That boggled my mind most of the book. You saw the love with both of them, so what would make him leave.

I liked Quinn. She was so much in love with Ace. She even wore her ring for two years after he left. I really felt for her. She wanted her husband back. She didn't know why he would leave her after everything. When she has a PI finally find him, her intention is to give him the divorce papers and walk away. How can she walk away from the man that she loves? Ace, this man was so stupid two years ago. You will find out why during this book, but I wanted to smack him. His love shown through the whole book, it was obvious something happen two years ago. What is also obvious is that he isn't going to give her the divorce that she wants.

Now with all that being said, there is a bunch of drama that hits the fan when Quinn finally finds Ace. Something is coming down on the MC and they don't know why. They need to figure this out. Ace has to man up and tell Quinn what happened oh and lets not forget the other characters in this book too, they do have some parts in this story. I felt the story was bit undone. I didn't like how it ended, but that is probably just me. It's a quick read and it was very enjoyable. I'm ready for another of these books from this series.

I love Ace and his little Quinn. This is one of the more humorous stories in the series, but it's still hot and sexy. Ace has a secret that he tells Ember in the previous book, but we don't find it out until Quinn shows up in this story. This is such a sweet story, I love Ace so much and Quinn is a hoot with her nerdy t-shirts and sayings. I swear the brothers and their significant others in this series crack me up and then we get the addition of Quinn's friend Max who makes herself right at home. Great books!!!

At first I really wasn't all that into Quinn I couldn't really place her and Ace together. As the book went on and I got to see their story unfold it made more sense to me. Their backstory is really odd and we never find out how long they were actually together before he left which made me wonder why would she not make a move sooner. In the end her quirkiness was cute and she has a big personality so I think they fit well in the end.

I wanted to love this more.

I really do love Ace and Quinn’s characters, and the plot was pretty good too. However, I didn’t feel that his guilt of his half-brothers accident was enough to drive a man that is completely in love with his wife to leave and stay away until she shows up two years later. Pushing that one flaw aside, I really did enjoy the book and love the characters in the MC series.

Let me start off by saying that I had no clue this was part of a series… book 4 for that matter! I was totally able to follow along with the story and characters however I will definitely be going back and reading the series from the beginning. Anyway Ignite takes us on the second change journey of Ace and Quinn. Being apart for 2 years it is no surprise that Quinn comes strolling into the Ace’s clubhouse requesting the one thing that only Ace can give her. All she wants is for him to finally give her the freedom to be free and have the closure she so desperately is seeking. What she doesn’t expect is for Ace to refuse and fight for her. Although Ace is not surprised that Quinn finally shows up it does take his clubhouse family by surprise . It seems that his secrets have caught up to him and he must now face the music.

I really enjoyed learning about Quinn’s and Ace’s relationship and why things happened the way they did. I loved that life gave them a second chance to get things right and both of them were willing and eventually ready to do just that. I loved fact that Ace maned up to his mistakes and took responsibility for them and Quinn in his hot alpha way. The chemistry between the two characters jumps off the pages. You can’t help by feel their anger, love and lust. To be honest there were times where I just wasn’t feel Quinn- not sure exactly why as she was a very likable character- I guess i just pictured someone a big different from Ace. Now in all honestly that opinion of mine may change once I go back and read the prior books in the series— there may be things in those books that would have made me understand or like Quinn more. Regardless you can’t help by cheer for this couple and as you are readying hope that they get their HEA.

Oh how I loved this book. I couldn't wait to get Ace's story. I was curious about his secret and it was a good one. Quinn was adorable and she is definitely my favorite girl in the series so far. She's quirky and sweet. Her and Ace's story is by far one of the best. I was also happy seeing Ham with Max. Hopefully she'll become an old lady too. I absolutely love this series.
