Η Τζέιν νόμιζε πως το συμβόλαιο γάμου που είχε υπογράψει κάποτε με τον Γουίλ ήταν απλά ένα αστείο. Αλλά έξι χρόνια μετά, ο Γουίλ εμφανίστηκε μπροστά της για να της θυμίσει τη συμφωνία τους! Τώρα η Τζέιν έπρεπε να βρει επειγόντως με ποιον τρόπο θα ανάγκαζε τον... επίδοξο σύζυγό της να το βάλει στα πόδια.

394 books106 followersKate began reading romance in 1979 when she picked up a copy of Kathleen Woodiwiss's Ashes in the Wind. She read the book from cover to cover in one very long night and was immediately hooked on the genre.
The next morning, she was standing at the door to her local Waldenbooks and when they opened, she hurried inside and asked for everything else written by Woodiwiss. At the same time, she found wonderful books by Rosemary Rogers, Laurie McBain, and Jennifer Blake.
Nearly 10 years later, while working as an advertising copywriter, Kate decided to try writing a romance of her own. After a history of interesting jobs in teaching, retailing, advertising, and nonprofit work, she was determined to add romance author to that list.
After numerous failed attempts over three years, Kate decided to forget writing historical romance and turned to category romance. Six months later, her first story, A Vagabond Heart, was finished. A year later, Harlequin bought the book after Kate won the national 1992 Harlequin Temptation contest. The book was published in 1993 as Indecent Exposure.
Her dream of adding romance writer to her resume came true and in December of 1993 she turned off her alarm clock, shredded her pantyhose, and became a full-time writer.
Since then, Kate has written numerous books for Temptation, Weddings by DeWilde, Harlequin anthologies, Love and Laughter, and Duets. Her new Duet, Three Babies and a Bargain (July 2000) will be her 24th project for Harlequin and All Through the Night (August 2000), a Temptation Blaze, will mark her 25th.
Kate lives in southeastern Wisconsin in a cozy little house in a picturesque village. Two cats also live with her—Tansing, a grumpy Himalayan, and Tibriz, a tortie Persian mix that she rescued from an animal shelter. She enjoys gardening, golf, reading, and romantic movies.

Soy una amante loca de las novelas de este estilo.
Me sacó mis lágrimas porque así de cursi soy y fue unas desvelada muy muy bien invertida.
Sencilla, con su toque de empalagosa, pero divertida y al grano. Es ese tipo de novelas cortas que me hacen muy muy feliz por más que no sean el pináculo del gusto literario.
Los dos últimos capítulos me hubiesen gustado un poco de cambios en las decisiones de Will al acercarse a P.C, pero eso ya es crítica extra porque la verdad que me dormí a las 3am para terminar >//<

¡Hermosa, cómica, tierna, romántica, dulce, sensual! Todo eso y más es esta.novela. Me ha encantado de principio a fin. Y estoy feliz porque creo que acabo de descubrir una autora maravillosa en Harlequin. :-)

La sinopsis de esta novela me enganchó y tenía muchas ganas de leerla, pero cuando la añadí a mi lectura actual, y vi que otra lectora le había dado solo 2 estrellas, me sentí un poco aprensiva. Pero ya ven que cada quien tiene sus gustos...

This was a short and cute story that makes for a quick read. Nothing super memorable or outstanding but not bad for passing an afternoon.
Will shows up out of the blue after losing touch with Jane and next thing you know they are "engaged" due to a drunken contract they both signed years ago. Jane has never been able to resist Will's charm but Will never saw Jane as a woman until now.
Jane's antics to get Will to break the engagement doesn't last very long (he saw through her tactics pretty quickly), so we don't get to enjoy some of the outrageous plans (pink towels, liver meals, etc) too long. Not that is was that funny anyways, just stereotypical. The whole plants thing was very sweet though and the history behind it for Jane.

Will es un abogado que necesita una esposa para poder adquirir la empresa de su padre. Tiene un as bajo la manga.
Jane, es una botánica que ve su empresa caer, cuando un día Will aparece con un contrato que firmaron hace 6 años.
Jane me saco bastante de quicio, fue muy terca con toda la situación, Will me encantó, bastante torpe en la universidad, pero ya como adulto otra cosa, fue muy claro cuando entendió sus sentimientos.
Un libro corto y fácil de leer.

La verdad es que el libro me encanto y valio la pena ganarme las ojeras que tengo por terminarlo. Si bien el libro es romántico es muy lindo además transcurre muy rápido. Los sentimientos de él y los de ella eran confusos y frustrantes pero también me daban ganas de seguir leyendo

La historia fue interesante pero la impresión en la segunda lectura que tuve del libro me hizo bajar el rating. Es interesante, una típica historia de romance contemporáneo para románticas empedernidas.
