Secret XXX is a very adorable and hot yaoi manga set in a rabbit-specializing shop. The plot has enough depth for a light read, and the setting is interesting with a sprinkling of bunny facts.
The illustrations are so gorgeous, one of the best I've seen in the yaoi genre. Plus, this smutty manga is generously uncensored!
The characters are all very lovable, and I would love to explore their romance more outside the areas of business and family.
I'm giving this a star less because Sublime's English translation dropped all the honorifics! How did I know? Halfway through reading the copy I bought, I was starting to feel bothered that that the younger siblings were calling their older brothers by their first names. This encouraged me to look for scanlations online, so I could compare the translations. I think honorifics are very important to retain in every translation of Japanese text because they keep the polite culture apparent and rich in the story, making the book feel more authentic and true to its origin.
I can't wait to read the spin-off series! I'll definitely purchase it soon. I am looking forward to reading Hinohara Meguru-sensei's other works.
The MOST ADORABLE (and rather kinky) of loves between Shohei; an energetic, earnest and cute bisexual or late-blooming gay and Mito; a benevolent and calm soul with a complicated past.
There are also a lot of cute bunnies featured throughout the volume.
Absolutely fell in LOVE with this manga! (make sure to read XXX Allergy beforehand!) This was so wholesome, fluffy, AND smutty! My favorite combo in bl ugh *chefs kiss*! The story was so much fun- I laughed, I squealed, I drooled. Mito and Shouhei are actual sweethearts and wholesome boyfriends who truly deserve each other ♡
I couldn't help comparing it with Therapy game even though I wanted to appreciate their story on its own. Alsoooo the art in the next two installments gets better and better and honestly props to Meguhara-sensei for that.
P.s: Shizuma looked noT good here and I just can't help thinking, is he very average looking bc the story is from his brother's pov or does he look that way always and Minato is just GONE gone for him and sees him aa an ethreal being (he is)
I loved all of this! I know there's a longer series that comes after this, but I'm not sure it could top this first volume. It's so cute, and so good! And it perfectly combines the secrets in an early relationship with incredibly low-stakes miscommunications to keep up the tension but make the payoff really sweet and worth it. 5/5 Loved it, might buy it for my collection~
This was so stinking cute! Looks like a cinnamon roll is a cinnamon roll meets looks like a cinnamon roll but will dom the fuck out of you. And there’s BUNNIES.
I read this after TG 1&2 as recommended by a friend and I'm not sure if it's because I know backstory details going in but I think I enjoyed this story more! Comparing TG 1/2 and this, this is much more lighthearted, fluffy, and charming and I was just so soft reading this ;_; <3

“A first love that grows in a rabbit specialist shop.”
Synopsis: Growing up in an environment full of all kinds of animals, there’s only one animal that Shouhei loves and that’s rabbits. Because of his love for rabbits, he sometimes helps out in a rabbit specialist shop. And there, he meets Mito Itsuki, his unrequited love. However, he has a secret he has to keep no matter what. Would he be able to keep that secret in order to stay close to the one he loves?
This book is overflowing with cuteness and fluffiness. The love story of the characters, Shouhei and Mito, was built on a very funny plot. Shouhei adores Mito and he really wants to work at Mito’s rabbit specialty shop. But because of her allergies to rabbits, wherein he can’t stand being around rabbits for an hour, he has to always find excuses to leave early. How will their budding relationship grow. But with some twist of fate, the true cause of Shouhei’s allergy was revealed. But will Shouhei have the courage to tell Mito his true feelings? How will Mito react to it?
Definitely not a manga that I was expecting to read during the holy week. I was enjoying how cute this story between two boys who shared their love for rabbits then “boom”, things began escalating quickly. I was caught off guard. The two ended up in bed. Well, you probably already know what happened next. That sexy scene totally caught me off guard. Now I get what’s the meaning of “XXX” in the title. And yeah, I failed to realize that what I picked up was a yaoi manga.
But aside from that sexy scene, that’s not what you will remember from this book. This book is really sweet I found myself smiling a lot of times. The art is really vivid. The characters were drawn adorably. And yes, the rabbits, the rabbits are really so cute and fluffy. 😉
This was such a cute, fluffy story that’s definitely not for those under 18. It’s one that I want to reread as soon as possible! Seriously, it’s just such a sweet and fun story that you won’t want to put it down.
Okay so, the title is a little misleading and implies something a little more…X-rated. But it’s totally not! It’s so cute and fluffy. And it focuses more on the secrets these two keep from each other before moving in together (i.e.: an allergy, working at a nightclub, surprise family members, etc.). It was just a lovely story all around! I also really loved that the bunnies and the pet shop were a pretty big part of the storyline.
Honestly, this one was just so cute and cozy. I think Mito definitely fits the stern brunch daddy stereotype. And Shohei is just the sweetest ball of sunshine! I desperately wish that there was another volume after this one, but I’m not gonna complain. This is getting a solid four stars. 🥰
