Gordon X. Graham is the Amazon bestselling writer of Heroin(e) : Entropy, Heroin(e) : Hermetic and Heroin(e) : Out of Body. His fourth novel, Heroin(e) 4 : The Principia Discordia, is a prequel to his first three books and will be published in 2026.

Wow! Guys, I'm so impressed with this novel. It's not often that I find a riveting political thriller like this. Honestly, political thrillers aren't usually my genre (I mean, if you know me, you already know that ;) but this one totally captured my attention. Graham does a brilliant job of drawing you in with intriguing dialogue, an edge-of-your-seat plot, and realistic characters. Definitely looking forward to the sequel!

Thrilling political suspense action thriller with a science fiction twist to it. As a resident of the DMV, known as the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia area, I felt completely immersed in the world Graham expertly constructed. all within his creation of a fictionalized version of the real life D.C. Sniper Crisis.

Furthermore, Nina was a protagonist I completely identified with. I really like how the author painted her as a reluctant heroine who fights her oppressors with strategy, femininity and wit, instead of brute force.

Well done! I can't wait to read book 2 in the series, Heroin(e): Hermetic!

Excellent political suspense thriller intertwined with a federally-sponsored drug conspiracy. Loved the multi-dimensional sci-fi twist set within a fictional D.C. Sniper Crisis as well. Well written by Graham, looking forward to to reading his second book Hermetic.

Really impressed with the immersive world that Graham created. A slick, Neo-historical fiction thriller set in a fictionalized version of the D.C. Sniper Crisis felt all too real, and to tie it in with the protagonist's struggle to dig her way out of synthetic drug operation her boyfriend entrapped her in was genius. Can't wait to read his second book in the series Hermetic. Five stars.

Really don’t know what the other reviews are talking about — they cannot be genuine. This book was messy, there are errors throughout, the world in which the book takes place has been flimsily constructed and bears little resemblance to the intense political thriller that the blurb promises, the characters are not developed at all, the plot is tenuous at best. One of the most concerning aspects of the novel is the lead, Nina. She is not a ‘strong female lead’ in the slightest. She has been written in a way that reeks of misogyny and written more like a sexually exploitative, pornographic fantasy than a real person. There is no chance this would have gotten past a traditional publisher. I wish I could get the time I wasted trying to make sense of this book. I hope if the author reads this that he takes the time to attempt to deconstruct his harmful attitudes towards women and race. Agree with reviewer Jenny who seems to be the only person here talking sense - one of the worst things I’ve ever read.

Absolutely fantastic read!!! I love this book it reminds me of The Matrix mixed with Hunger Games mixed with Clue. I would encourage anyone to read this trilogy it is worth your time.
