Spradley "Spanky" Nutts is on top of the world. His quick-witted, no holds barred show has earned him the title of "Radio God" as his voice fills speakers around the country. His fame opens doors that were once slammed in his face, especially by beautiful women. On the cusp of the biggest accomplishment of his life, Spradley receives some life changing news... Spradley Nutts may lose his own nuts?! Spradley remembers Maggie Abraham, the sexy oncology nurse, from high school, but the woman standing in front of him in the exam room, is nothing like the snooty cheerleader he remembers. Can the once joke of the school and the former cheerleading captain have a shot? Is Maggie the one person who just may be able to crack Spradley Nutts? ***This is an Adult Romantic Comedy from the Male POV. The language and humor are crass and it contains adult situations, including sex from the male pint of view. If that isn’t to your liking, then Nutt Cracker is not the book for you.

This short story had things in it that I'd normally hate especially for a novella length book but it just didn't bother me because they were somewhat crucial to the plot. This had some true lol moments. It's been a long time since I read a Skye Turner story. I love her writing style. I got this as part of the Nuts About You Anthology.
I really enjoyed this book - a quick and funny read. Spradley and Maggie went to high school. He was the class clown and she was the cheerleader. They meet by chance at a pivotal point in both of their lives. I like how the story was told from Spradleys point of view. Lots of laugh out loud moments.
