I must be a masochist, because reading this book was torture. Chewing gum is effective at removing chewing gum from your hair? Really? Plus many of these so-called 'facts' are repeated in his other books. Thankfully, this was a free download, because I would be extremely upset with myself if I paid for it. Avoid these trivia books, and their author, at all costs.
I enjoyed the facts of this book. As a trivia buff I enjoyed learning some new facts among the 1000 offered. The one draw back to the book is it a strictly numerical count of facts with no categorization. I believe that was the intent of the authors to make it truly random but does make it hard when wanting to learn facts on a specific category. Overall a fun and informative read.
This book had some great facts, most of which I had not heard before. There were a couple of errors. I was unaware that Koko the gorilla had changed her name to Coco. Still all in all a very quick read.
Always an enjoyable read from this author. However, I must challenge #425 of McDonalds serving 43 billion customers a day & #443- Portland is not the capital of Oregon (Salem).
