Jacobsen è costretto a portare a termine in fretta le sue trame, ma lo fa mantenendo il ritmo e l'organicità della serie. Il piano di Axis Mundi resta sullo sfondo mentre i vari protagonisti si scontrano tra loro verbalmente e l'azione ingrana.
