You Ain't Gotta Be Perfect: Currency & Ree’s Love Story
One to do things by the book, Adoree Watkins has always followed the rules. Adoree wants to be a marine biologist and has every detail of her life planned. Her NFL bound boyfriend, Jerrod, has been in her life since the ninth grade. Jerrod loves Adoree, but when he starts to step out their relationship, does she find out? Does Jerrod do something drastic to keep Adoree in his life?
Adoree bumps into a tatted-up stranger, who she knows she needs to stay far away from, but the more she tries to stay away, the more she is drawn to him. Will she allow this sexy man to draw her in even with her boyfriend Jerrod in the picture?
Fresh from the concrete jungle, Synovus Lee Jr, is the king of the streets. Hitting the streets and making sure his girlfriend, Zaviana McCoy is well taken care of, is the only thing he knows. Synovus loves photography when he isn’t in the streets. He only knows how to hustle to make money. When he finds out his hobby could make him decent money without the consequence of being arrested, he starts to think about leaving the game. Will Zaviana be accepting, especially when she knows the cash flow might not be the same? Synovus will do anything for Zaviana. That is until Adoree steps into his life.
Anyone with eyes can see that Adoree and Synovus are definitely from different sides of the track, but will that stop them from getting to know each other? Will they fall in love, or will gravity keep them in their current relationships?

I love this book first off ree pissed me off so bad in this book that i wanted to slap her i had to drink me a couple of glasses of wine and take me a couple of shots to get my attitude in check but when she asked syn to teach her how to suck dick i jump for joy amd screamed then when the had sex not once but twice i was like let the games begin because now feelings that they was trying to hide will come out to play yesss lord this story is epic cant wait for part 2

Overall this book was ok... it took a minute to really take off.... I almost didn't finish it but i'm glad I did ... hope part 2 takes off a little better then 1 did....

Tks book was full of laughs. Although I enjoyed the read I wish that adore grew a backbone and dropped Jarred cheating abusive self. Bria is just a snake. She needs to be slapped with her trifling self. Love how Currency takes Ree out of her shell and how she makes him think of more than just the streets. Can't wait until they both drop their baggage and get it together. Looking forward to the next read

Ok start
This story started out kind of slow but picked up less then half way in..Adoree is such a naive young girl I almost feel sorry for her. She needs to kick that boy to the curb. Im interested to see how her relationship with her parents will play out. They definitely seem shady. Im happy to see her and currency build a genuine friendship even through the misunderstandings. SMH at currenys girlfriend Zay.

I enjoyed this book from the beginning. The fact that Ree thinks he is gay is hilarious. I like Syn and Ree together and I hope they both get rid of their significant others. Zay is terrible and I’ll be glad when Syn finds out the truth about her. Can’t wait to read part 2

Enjoyed reading. I like the flow of the storyline and how it builds up to all the drama that's about to happen. Ree and Currency have built a nice friendship but I did find it funny that she thinks he's gay. How will she react once she is faced with the truth. Cant wait to read what happens in Part 2.

So fat unlike this book. Currency seems like a kool dude unfortunate for him he has the wrong chic as a longtime girlfriend. He met Adoree and seems to be drawn to her as she is him. I'm hoping they get rid of both of their situations and get together. Guess I'll see in book 2

Jerrod is a complete butthole! Ree deserves so much better and soon she will realize it. Currency has fallen for Ree, but doesn't want to involve her in his situation or get in the middle of her situation. Waiting to read part two.
