The battle continues

I had the honour of being one of the ARC team for Chris, and well what can one say but this story gets better with each book. Chris has continued the battle for Chase and his crew against Gaia2. She told them that if they returned to earth she would wipe out all life on the planet.

Chase cannot let this happen, and with the help of new allies he sets out to free earth and it's people. But Gaia2 is not the only enemy that Chase needs to worry about, the Fury are looking to use it in the hope of killing Chase.

Oryn, is hoping to use this for her benefit, whilst she is also facing the news that her real father is Zeus. Can Chase get her to face the truth and help with the fight.

If you have not read this series, you are missing out and I recommend you give it a go.

Looking forward to the next book Chris.

Oh, my God. This book, 7th in the series, has so much action, especially at the end, that I am exhausted from reading it. But it's a really good exhaustion. I've always used the expression 'kept me on the edge of my seat', but I don't think I was ever really there as much as I thought until now.. I can't talk about any of the plot lines because the separate action lines are so intricately woven into the whole that it would take me forever to break one of them down, and if I did it would end as a major spoiler. I'm not sure I just made any sense, but what I'm trying to say is: Read This Book!!! The plot line is well developed and there is a surprise around every turn. All in all, this series is well worth your time.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS BOTH AN INDIVIDUAL BOOK AND AS A SERIES

The enemies and allies keep growing exponentially in this seventh volume of the "Armageddon Unleashed" epic... The plotlines are converging as the battles explode in intensity and numbers. Chief protagonist Chase, along with new allies, must fight multiple battles at the same time, and he is stretched pretty thin...and being cut to pieces. He has learned (finally) to allow others to help him in his quest, but will it be enough? He has conflicting duties to his allies, and that, too, causes even more problems.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS BOTH AN INDIVIDUAL BOOK AND AS A SERIES!

Another great chapter in the story but doesn't feel at all like a standalone book to me, a super abrupt ending that isn't really an ending at all. I know that it's part of a series, but for me, each individual story should have a beginning, middle and end, a satisfying sub-plot of its own that fits into an over-arching series. Today it seems to be about chopping off a single story when it feels about the length of a book, and getting it out onto the market before carrying on writing. I find that frustrating but I appreciate that the author may simply not be able to earn as much without doing this. Decent continuation of the story.

Imagination, Action and Fury unleashed!

All I can say is wow! I have just found Christian Kallias so have been blessed with being able to purchase all 10 books. I have just finished the 7th book and am starting the 8th book. I have not gotten anything done at home for the last couple days and probably won't for a couple more. I cannot put the books down. They are non-stop action, excitement and the most ingenious imagination I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this saga to all who enjoy mythology, super powers and fantastic battles of good and evil. There is a fine line that constantly fluctuates between the two. ENJOY.

And each book is 5stars++! Just purchased #8
Outstanding story line taking modern characters that still believe some of the mythology we were all taught or learned , and using the aggression of a earth AI that has gone rogue and wants to destroy the planet .The mythology is found t I be real . Just incredibly well done
And filled with twists and turns. Books 1 - 7 ,again were absolutely magnificent! I will let you all know of my thoughts on #8 GREAT READS HATS OFF TO KALLIAS

Fantastic

After reading the first seven books, I cannot wait for what is to come! I truly enjoy Kallias's style of writing. The quick jumps from scenario to scenario is a refreshing and captivating style. The fact that the storyline is truly original( I have not read anything like this in 55 years) blending mythos with planet saving ideas and the different life forms just blows my mind!

Thank you for continuing to write more in the Universe in Flames, well, universe. Bringing out these Asgardian Guards was a nice twist as I was wondering how you were going to up the ante on villains. How much stronger are these villains going to get? Hopefully not. I want our heroes to continue to win. Battle scenes are nicely descriptive and your heart is always in your throat as you want all your heroes to win. Now, on to the Reckoning. Can't wait.

Interesting series

I’ve read it this far so I’ll probably finish it out. I would have given it a five star but something in the books just bugged the hell out of me. You had these people from the distant future but you had them using 20th century slang and expletives, but insisted on saying “It mattered not” which I found to sound pretentious and eexstraneous
Hey. You

Loved the story and characters

Active, imaginative scenes and a moving plot make book 7 another fun read. Had only one possible criticism of the development of the story. When Chase and Gaias 2 fight, the story assumes that Gaias 2 doesn't learn from all the fights. As a result, the story loses a bit of authenticity in action. Otherwise it's a lot of fun to read.

Fantastic

It has a long time since I have read a series so exciting. I have a hard time trying to stop reading this series. I sometimes my wife has to make me stop reading. I find myself reading until 2. Am. I have completed reading the books and immediately will order another and read two of more chapters before I stop reading.

A great Space Opera with a twist of using Greek and Norse Gods as characters. The pace is as frenetic as always, keeping you turning the pages. The end of the book comes too fast, keeping you wanting more. A great author who has learned how to write the right way!

Fun Read

My wife got me to read this series while we were on vacation. Nothing better than being on a beach with a great book. Been a rollercoaster of a read, but a whole lot of fun.

Mythologies converge

It's interesting to see how the author has taken the myths of ancient earth and use it to build a pretty expensive universe. Some of it reminds me of Stargate though, but every great piece of work has worked upon what came before. Great story so far!

Great read

Good fantasy Sci Fi. Interesting chapter development of the heroes. Good portrayal of familiar personality types. Star Trek fans will appreciate it. I have read previous books in the series and plan to finish all of them.

The Epic Saga Continues to Impress

Chase and the gang keep facing the odds and tipping them back in their favor. The Olympians have joined forces with the a earth Alliance. And the Asgardians have assisted in defeating Gaia 2, a not so nice AI. What’s up next? Should be fun....

Fury unleashed

I love reading these stories that not only have a fight amongst spaceships but an added fight with rage infused humanoids. What they can achieve power wise is fantastic.

This is my favourite book in the series so far. Chase against Gaia 2 in the own world. Non-stop action, crisis upon crisis, enemy after enemy each more powerful than the last. Great characters and an epic ending, and this is less than half way through the series. Highly recommended.

Sci-fi

I love the series, but it will be the last one I read. It keeps going on and on with no apparent ending. Three in a series ok, but 13, too much.

Great Series!

As a person who is continually reading books, it is quite hard to find books that I really like, but the Universe in Flames series is one I would recommend to anyone. The plot twists and general sci-fi theme is really the thing I love most about it.

There are some parts that may be inappropriate for younger children, as it does contain some swearing, but apart from that, it is a very good read, with exciting action and well-developed characters. All in all, a must read for anyone who loves mythology, fantasy, and space!
