Bang! Bringing in black powder. Returning through the northern forest to the fort, after having to retreat following Battle. On their return, they are attacked by Bear Men, The fort is desolate, dead litter the ground. Sending the lost to Otherworld brings in contact with an eastern tribe, and after negotiations, an allience is formed. But jealousy lives, and Lauren is attacked and nearly killed. A patrol goes out, Brevit is injured. A beaver dam is found, and used against the enemies attacking. Captives are taken, one a Chief of an eastern clan. He is won over. The second prisoner is his daughter, and taken under Lauren's and Madeil's wings. A further patrol goes east, and after skirmishes, arrange a meeting between all clan and tribal Chiefs. Food patrols go to hunt, fights with wil animals occur. People are rewscued after raids, the aggressive tribe needs quelling, now they know who it is. An army departs, battles ensure, in which Sorel is killed. To be continued...
