Beachy, heartwarming and inspirational, Laurie Larsen's love stories contain a bit of faith in addition to the Happily Ever After. Her beloved Pawleys Island Paradise series gained fans, not only because of the stories and unforgettable characters, but the "arrogantly shabby" real-life island setting.

A multi-award winning author, she's won the EPIC Award for Best Spiritual Romance, the Illumination Book Award for Inspirational Romance Fiction and the eLit Award for Religious Fiction.

Laurie began her writing career back when she was juggling a challenging day job in Information Technology Management. Bewildered as to how an English major who loved to read discovered herself in a highly technical career path, writing became her creative release. Because "all good things come to those that wait," her reward finally arrived: retiring from the day job, moving to the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry and writing novels full-time; at least, in between lathering on the sunscreen, walking the beach, and entertaining her feisty rescue pup, Weezer.

A member of Romance Writers of America for fifteen years, now, she's the President of an American Christian Fiction Writers chapter. She's lived her own Happily Ever After for over thirty years.

Another wonderful story. I pray this series reaches so many people so that they can see how wonderful life is when you pray and ask God to guide you. The series continues with Jasmine and Dax, where they have their up and downs but always turn to God for guidance. We meet Roxanne Frazier, a New York actress, and Tieg Miller. Roxanne and Tieg knew each other and one fateful night changed everything. Roxanne went to Pawleys Island to get away from New York and do dinner theater there. Tieg shows up there too and she doesn't talk to him other than when they are doing dinner theater together. Tieg tries to solve the mystery of what happened to her dog that fateful night and he starts to have feelings for her but he believes in God and he has no intentions of falling in love with a woman who doesn't believe in God. But God has plans of his own and we see what that is.
This is a wonderful series and I am thankful God guided me to find it.

I really felt good vibes while reading two lovers stories running on parallel. For a moment,I felt like I was having unrealistic expectations but I do feel that men like Tieg and Dax exist. Happy for Roxanne and Jasmine

Good with distractions

Loved the independent stories but they should have been two separate books. I'm all for different POV's or points of views - but this was two to three intertwined but separate stories meshed together. It took me till half way through to remember which character went with which backstory.

Roxanne and Tieg had a nice first date but unforeseen circumstances push them apart for six months.
Jasmine and Dax are engaged but apart because of their job and Dax being a Big Brother to Pedro,a foster child.
Leslie discovers she is adopted and left in a phone booth and Jasmine discovers the birth mother's identity, causing problems.
Six months later they all come together in their path to discovery.a quote from the book brings it all together.
"The mysteries of faith you don't see it, just believe it,and you rest in the knowledge that God wants the best for you"
I enjoyed each journey and each character but was excited to see Pedro's reaction to his first trip to New York.
This is book was nice addition to the series.

Great Christian love stories!

Two separate love stories, so real, stories that mostly take place in NYC. Issues which are relevant in today's society are at the heart of the stories. Having visited NYC many times, I remember how it felt to see the tourist attractions mentioned in the book and how the author described the characters' reactions to the sites, or even remembering the neighborhoods in the book. The characters are well developed and their emotions so real. Thank you for your insight and allowing the readers to join you in this story.

Great story

I really enjoyed reading Path to Discovery. It was nice reading a story with no sex or blood and Gore. I loved the characters and seeing how God worked everything out for them. I haven't read the other stories in this series but will go back and do that now. Thanks to a wonderful writer, Laurie Larsen.

Another wonderful story from Laurie Larsen. In addition to a great Christian romance, we get a little mystery in this story. I really enjoy how these books stand alone but also update you on previous characters. The stories are well developed and the characters are awesome.

Good read!

Another good book that I couldn't put down. A bit more religious I feel than some of the others, but the story is good, so it didn't bother me.
