From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Bernard… sometimes the only way forward is into the flames…
To his wildfire hotshot crew, he’s Rollo--firefighter, loyal friend, lifesaver. To his family, he’s Rollington Wareham III, black sheep and heir to a banking fortune. But now that he’s turned thirty, Rollo knows his days of firefighting and freedom are over. He has responsibilities. Duties. Goodbye hotshots, hello boardroom—and a socially acceptable bride. This is absolutely the worst time to realize just how sexy and adorable his good friend Brianna is.
Put her in a garden with some plants, and Brianna Gallagher knows just what to do. Send her on a date with an attractive man and things get awkward. Epically awkward. It’s a good thing she and Rollo are such great friends. It would be a total disaster if she started noticing his ripped physique and sculpted muscles. Kissing him is a definite no-no. As for falling into bed… well, that might be okay as long as they both know it’s a limited time deal. She doesn’t belong in his world, and he can’t stay in hers. No matter how much she’s falling for him.
But fate has a way of changing people’s plans. When a family crisis follows Rollo to Jupiter Point, he turns to the one woman he trusts above all others. Throw in a disastrous visit to Manhattan, a bride hunt, and the world’s most awkward crush, and it will take a miracle to bring them together. Or a shocking event that puts Brianna’s life at risk...

Brianna and Rollo were wonderful! I laughed and smiled throughout this book. Jennifer Bernard did a wonderful job in bringing our gardener and Money together in a way that was sexy and fun.
Brianna has a crush on Hollywood but, every time she is around him she starts sprouting off nothing but details about the plants around them. Rollo thinks him and Merry would be good together. So, plans get made for them to spend a hiking trip together¬¬¬, unfortunately, things don’t go as planned.
Too bad Merry and Finn have so much in common and do nothing but talk to each other practically ignoring Bri and Rollo. But then, Merry gets attacked, Finn gets knocked out, Brianna tries her best to rescue everyone and Rollo kisses Brianna and she can’t help but respond. Whoa, where did that come from? Now, Brianna is afraid she will ruin her friendship with Rollo and Rollo knows that this can’t be anything but a fling … he has to marry someone who is socially acceptable and approved by his family or he is disowned. Brianna, with her mismatched clothes, rambling mouth and unsuspecting sexiness, will not fit the bill. Unfortunately, she finds that out the hard way.
Into the Flames was such a wonderful read. Jennifer Bernard gave us a little bit of everything. The storyline of friends to lovers to hearts-desire was beautifully written. We had a little bit of suspense, a little bit of drama and a whole lot of love once Bri and Rollo finally owned up to their feelings. I am so thrilled when Jennifer Bernard releases a firefighter story because I know that she does her homework. She knows just the right amount of sex, love, firefighting and angst to keep the read on edge and satisfied.
In the third instalment of Jennifer Bernard’s fabulous Jupiter Point series, we get to get better acquainted with Rollo Wareham. Although we had met him briefly in the previous books, I didn’t know what to expect of his story, and Ms. Bernard made it a terrific one. Brianna Gallagher and Rollo have been very good friends for a while, and although Rollo comes to think there could have been more, his family situation makes it just about impossible: Brianna would not fit in, and truth be told, he would do that to a friend; his family is impossible and too snobbish for Brianna.
Rollo has a riveting backstory, and sweet, darling Brianna is a hopeless klutz, has no fashion sense, puts her foot in her mouth, babbles ceaselessly, and also has a heart that is as big as the heavens. Rollo and Brianna are friends, they really enjoy each other’s company, but they don’t perceive them as romantic feelings, until they realise that they do, which comes about rather by accident. They both have crushes on other people, which nobody knows about, and friends are always matching them together. After one of those failed blind dates where they’ve been set up, they agree to help each other win over their respective crushes. That’s when Rollo begins to think that maybe Brianna is more than his friend. Alas, there is no place for Brianna in his upper crust family.
Rollo and Brianna are both lovely people, and INTO THE FLAMES is a wonderful romance, but at times, my heart broke for Brianna, because of Rollo’s attitude towards his parents. Now, I’ll be even more hard-pressed when the time comes to choose a favourite book in this fabulous series, because INTO THE FLAMES is such a great story with very complex characters. It is very well written, with no boring bits, and there is so much fun to be had. Jennifer Bernard has given us another fabulous book, and now waiting for the next one!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Right now I'm kicking myself for letting myself get behind on this series. It happens to me way to often with to many series. I can only say that I love more books and authors then I can possibly read. I will make sure to try though!
If you've been reading this series, or if this will soon be a new one for you you'll soon learn how important this book is to the series. Or maybe it's just me who's been excited to read this one. I doubt it but...
From book one there was something about Rollo that drew you to him. He wasn't really even in it that much, yet...
I just loved him. He's one of those guys that scream out to you even when they remain silent. Moth to the flame type of guy. Did you get where you are the moth and he's the flame? Funny right since he's a fireman?
But as much as I loved Rollo and believe me I did, it was Brianna who stole the show. OMG was she funny! And sweet. She was very, very sweet. So good in fact you worried about her. You didn't want anyone to hurt her.
Together Rollo and Brianna are perfect together. They just work. Not only are they perfectly matched for each other they bring to the other what they need. More then once I found myself laughing with these two and in the end I felt like I was part of the story. Humor always makes it for me in a book.
I would like to mention that if you haven't yet started this series then before you read Into the Flames I'd start at the beginning of the series. Each book works better that way. Builds each character more, makes the stories fuller. I really can't wait to read the next book in the series Finn has been one of those characters that you want to know more about.
In my experience the most satisfying romantic relationships have the thrill of passion but also enjoy the familiarity of time spent with someone who is also your best friend and confidant. I think it's the number one reason why the friends-to lovers trope remains one of the most popular themes in romantic fiction today. I like to think the journey is like a blindfolded hike on a very crooked path up a very steep hill during a solar eclipse. There will always be some misleading signs and stumbles along the way that cause heavy breathing, sweating and heart palpitations that are symptoms often hilariously misunderstood by both parties before the confusion passes and the sun comes out again. I found this storyline entertaining but I would have liked less emphasis on Brianna's awkwardness and more passion and a deeper emotional bond between them that I found so very compelling between the other couples in the first two books in the series. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
What a fabulous read. Into the Flames is the story of two friends trying to help each other get with their crushes. Brianna has a crush on Finn and Rollo has a crush on Merry. Grab your copy and get ready to be sucked into this fantastic book. I really enjoyed getting to learn more about Rollo and Bri. This is one of my favorite series and I can’t wait to read Finn and Lisa’s story next.
Jennifer Bernard has done it again…...Third Book “Into The Flames” from the Jupiter Point series ….LOVE LOVE LOVE OMG LOVE Rollo!!!!!! I have loved him from book 1. I have been waiting patiently for his boo. I was so excited to finally read Rollo’s book. This book is HOT and there were all kinds of FIREWORKS with Rollo!!!! I don’t know how to say how much I loved this book. Her characters are Engaging and Fun. I got pulled in from Page 1. This book I had a very hard time putting it down! I can’t wait for Book 4, hopefully not too long!!! Congratulations Jennifer Bernard on an EXCELLENT Job Well Done!!!
Rollo is a mountain of a man who is a Jupiter Point Hotshot who has just turned 30 and knows that his time with the job he loves is quickly coming to an end. You see, Rollo is actually one of the New York Wall Street royalty. He knows that his family now expects him to return home, marry "the right woman" and take over his portion of the business. There's only one problem, he hates the idea of returning home and joining the family business. He also is beginning to realize that his best friend Brianna, a landscaper, is much more than a best friend. The only problem is that he doesn't know how to grab hold of this new, amazing, life while keeping his promise to his family. These two characters are utterly charming and absolutely perfect for each other! A thoroughly enjoyable read!
Into the Flames is the third in Jennifer Bernard’s Jupiter Point Series and might just be my favorite so far. It is a quick read and hard to put down. The story keeps the reader engaged throughout the entire book. This book centers on Rollo and Brianna who are best friends and slow to realize that they are perfect for each other. I loved both Rollo and Brianna but especially Rollo. He might just be my new book boyfriend! This story has it all- a sweet romance, humor, sexy firefighters, and a touch of danger. Ms. Bernard does such a great job giving you background information from the previous books that this can be read as a stand-alone book. I highly recommend both this book and this series. You don’t want to miss it!
Wow. Review to come soon. But wow..... OMG OMG OMG!!! This is Rollo's story and what a wonderful story it is. I love Rollo. He's just so big and sweet. Ms. Bernard has written a story that at turns is sweet, funny, sexy, and above all emotional. There are so many things about this story I loved, the characters, the story-line, the passion, the action, there's even a touch of mystery to this one. Fans of this series have already meet Rollo, however if you are new to the series, don't worry you'll still love him. He's a guy caught between two worlds, the world he loves, his Firefighter crew, and the world he was born into, the world of wealth and privilege that leaves him frustrated and angry. I loved watching Rollo find his place between these two worlds and falling in love with his best friend, Brianna. Brianna is a fun character, she's strong, but also unsure of herself. I love that Rollo loves her as she is and doesn't want her to be anyone else or to change. Brianna is the ultimate tomboy. And she has a crush on someone else. Watching her realize that the crush was just that and didn't really mean anything as she realized her feelings for Rollo was such fun. If you are new to Jennifer Bernard this is a great book to start with. You will not be lost but you will want to read the previous books, just because they are great reads. INTO THE FLAMES is book 3 in the Jupiter Point series. I'm so eager to see what's next for this series. I highly recommend this one to EVERYONE!
"Rollo, what are we doing? This is crazy." "Want me to stop?"
Oh my gee!!!
I'm so in love with Rollo and Brianna!!! Friends to lovers is my favorite type of romance. And this one is sooooo good!!
Two people, from two completely different worlds, became fast friends. No matter how much they tried to stop it, the pull was too strong. Everyone around them saw it...the chemistry. But they denied it. Until they just couldn't anymore.
Holy awesome first kiss, Batman!!! *praise hands*
"What are we going to do about this?" "This?" "Every time I get near you, I want you more. I don't know what's wrong with me."
I enjoyed watching their relationship blossom into the love they never though they would have.
The way Rollo had to work through his family drama, and what was expected out of him. And how Brianna brought out the best in everyone she was around. It all came together to make an epic love story!
"I want to make you happy, Rollo, so happy. The way you make me." "You never have to worry about that. No one's ever made me this happy."
I just loved every moment within these pages!! And I love revisiting with the Juniper Point family once again! I just can't get enough of this series!!
Jennifer Bernard has this way of always pulling you into her fictional worlds. You can picture yourself there with everyone. You feel what they feel and you love the way they love!
Another wonderful book!!!
"I got lucky. I found someone willing to take my hand and walk into the flames."
Into the Flames is book three in the Jupiter Point series (can be read as a stand-alone) and is the perfect friends to lovers romance.
Brianna and Rollo became instant friends when the hotshots came to town. He’s a big, burly, bear of a man and she is a small, klutzy, say-it-as-it-is, spitfire. Their friends have tried to set them up three times now *hint, hint* and they laugh it off since they are the best of friends and nothing more. In their quest to help each other in the romance department, they finally open their eyes and see each other in a different light. Unfortunately, Rollo’s family obligations have him tied up on what he can do and who he can marry. He knows his family would chew her up and spit her out – he couldn’t and wouldn’t do that to his Brianna. Brianna hates her awkwardness and her insecurities make it difficult to see herself as a sexy, attractive woman.
Oh my beating heart – that first kiss was one for the record books! So much passion and heat – wow. I love their hilarious bantering and how their deep friendship shines through so easily. You can feel their friendship and love for each other in every page.
Jennifer does a brilliant job with all the additional characters and the side stories they bring. The mystery and suspense with Old Man Turner, Rollo’s sister, his family’s demands and obligations, New York. Everything flows and ties together flawlessly. This book has it all and you will love reading Rollo and Brianna’s journey.
I truly loved Into the Flames by Jennifer Bernard, the third book in her Jupiter Point series. This series feature the Jupiter Point Hotshots, a crew of wildfire fighters. In this story we meet firefighter Rollo Wareham, a gentle giant who is friends with Brianna Gallagher, Jupiter Point native, gardener, and all round do-gooder. The life he enjoys in Jupiter Point is about to end as he is being forced to return to his family responsibilities, in the boardroom in New York and a socially acceptable bride. Brianna is comfortable with Rollo but send her on a date with an attractive man and she starts acting awkward and tongue tied.
I loved the how Ms. Bernard manipulated the characters to go from friends to lovers, not wanting to separated. She also illustrated to her readers, and characters that one should not settle just because you believe you are doing the right thing when it’s definitely not. Lessons can often be learned the hard way. It’s okay to pursue your dreams by finding ways to compromise expectations of others.
I loved this fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book, and all others previously written by Jennifer Bernard to all readers and I cannot wait for the next story in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Into the Flames is the third in the Jupiter Point series by Jennifer Bernard, and is a delicious friends-to-lovers story. Rollington Wareham III, known to his friends and fellow hotshots as Rollo, shed his identity as the wealthy black-sheep/heir to a banking fortune when he joined his crew and moved to Jupiter Point. He's happy with his freedom and his life as a firefighter. Unfortunately time waits for no man, and with the arrival of his thirtieth birthday return his family responsibilities to the boardroom and the social demands of his position.
One of his best friends in Jupiter Point is Brianna Gallagher. She's a talented landscape designer who loves the plants she works with, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Unfortunately she can't take that same confidence into social situations with the guy she's got a crush on. Fortunately Rollo's got her back and is happy to help try to smooth the way with his fellow hotshot, while she offers to try to set him up with the woman who's caught his eye.
You can guess that turns out about as well as could be expected ;) When Rollo and Brianna realize that the most intense chemistry is between the two of them, there is a whole other set of issues to overcome, which Ms Bernard ultimately does very satisfyingly. My slight frustration with how long it seemed to take Rollo to figure out his end of things explains why this isn't five stars for me.
Otherwise, this is a great read, and a terrific addition to the Jupiter Point series. Can't wait for more!
After having read all of Jennifer Bernard’s books, with this being my third Jupiter Point read, I have to say that Into the Flames is my favorite of all. There’s something about both Rollo and Brianna that will just grab you right from page one….although the cover isn’t too shabby, either. Reading about Rollo (or Rollington Wareham III as he was named at birth) and his family obligations, which for the most part he’s kept from his friends in the hotshot crew, will tug at your heart. Yes, he’s a poor not-so-little rich guy hiding in plain sight however he is truly an amazing guy, heart of gold, great friend and just a good person. Brianna Gallagher is JUST as amazing and even with her personal hang ups and all in her head issues? She is still strong and I would love to have her as a friend. This story had me laughing and sniffling and yelling, sometimes all at the same time. I truly enjoyed it and was engaged from start to finish. I won’t tell you much about the story but Rollo’s family? Hooboy. Brianna’s family? So loving and fun. Their friends? Crazy loons, all! Really, grab this read; you won’t be sorry. It is a standalone however it has characters from previous books and having read those books made it all the more enjoyable for me. Rollo’s and Bri’s HEA is the best. In case you haven’t guessed, I highly recommend.
This is the third installment of Ms Bernard's Jupiter Point series. Rollo did not really jump out to me in the prior two books so I was very unsure about reading his story in Into The Flames. Would I like his character more? Well after reading this book I loved Rollington "Rollo" Wareham III! He is such a complex, caring man! He loves firefighting, but knows he will have to go back to the family business at age 30. And that time is looming fast. Enter his friend Brianna. He is trying to help her get together with another Hotshot Finn. Brianna is another complex character with Finn she is a babbling ackward woman, but around Rollo she is at ease. Their story was so romantic! The surrounding characters added so much to this book. I found one of Jennifer Bernard's books when I got my first tablet. I read that book and was hooked. She is a must read author for me! I have enjoyed each and every book I have read. And this story is no exception. Please take a chance on new authors as I did and you might be very surprised!
“I received a free, advance copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my unbiased review.”
Rollo and Brianna, what can I say? The book opens with them realizing that they are, for the third time, each other’s blind date. Luckily, they are such good friends that they laugh it off and then go have dinner, completely at ease in each other’s company. They hatch a plan to help each other get the attention of their individual crush, but soon find that the person right in front of them may be the one for them. Unfortunately, there is no future for them, Rollo’s time is up and it is time for him to return to New York and start working on his family obligations, including marrying a suitable woman (yes, his mother is working on that), Of course, Briannah is no where near “suitable” enough for a Wareham. This book was so much fun. I loved Rollo and Brianna, they were both so down to earthand real, I could see being friends with them or hanging out. The secondary characters, especially Rollo’s sister, combine to move the story along and provide more laugh out loud moments. There is so much that is good about this book, I am scared to say too much so I don’t ruin someone’s chance to experience it for themselves. Jennifer Bernard has created a wonderfully fun small town with Jupiter Point, and spiced it up by adding the hotshots to the town. This is my new favorite read of hers, or, at least, until the next one comes out. **I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Copy provided by the Publisher.
This book is adorable and I loved it. Our heroine Brianna, has a crush on one of the Jupiter Point Fire Jumpers but he doesn’t even really see her. It doesn’t help that she gets tongue-tied and clumsy as all get out when she sees him. She pours out her frustration to Rollo, another fire jumper and her best friend. He’s such a good friend that everyone says the two of them should be together but she has this crush thing going for someone else. Rollo says he’ll help her out but everything he tries backfires. Eventually the two of they realize that just like the entire town has been telling them, they belong together, but now they have the issue of Rollo’s wealthy family to deal with. This is a purring kitten type of book. When reading I couldn’t help thinking “ahhh” in so many places. Both Rollo and Brianna are such wonderful, whacky cute characters that I can’t imagine any reader not falling for them.
Wow! Amazing! I absolutely LOVED the way Jennifer Bernard envisioned this novel. I felt as though I was actually "in" the novel at times. I see a lot of Bri in myself. She's funny, quirky, strong-willed, a hard worker, and ALWAYS the friend. But Bri is also very insecure. She wants her HEA, just like her two best friends. So she sets her sights on Finn.
Rollo, a hotshot and friend to Bri, informs Bri that he has a crush on Merry. So Bri and Rollo hatch a plan "guaranteed" to get their crushes to date them. What they don't expect, is the jealousy they experience when they are out camping together. Rollo doesn't like Bri's flirting with Finn and does everything he can to avoid confronting his feelings. When Bri's life is threatened, all bets are off! One kiss leads to another that eventually leads to a fling--with an expiration date.
Rollo is a millionaire with obligations. He loves the thrill of being a hotshot, but promised his family he would devote his life to the family business after he turned thirty. He's tried avoiding his family obligations because he's NOT a suit kind of guy. When he learns his sister has run away to him, he has no choice but to face his family.
This novel has soooo many parts that come into play that it keeps you engaged! There's suspense, romance, teen troubles, family obligations, and more. I loved Bri's sass and vulnerability. She rambles when she's nervous, she's pixie-like in her appearance, but sexy at the same time. She's easy to commensurate with because we've all felt we weren't "good enough" or worthy of love, happiness. I LOVED how patient, kind, and supportive Rollo was of Bri. I could easily picture a big, teddy bear of a man engulfing Bri with his love. I highly recommend this novel! It is the third in the series, but can be read as a stand alone without feeling lost. I read a gifted copy and all opinions expressed are my own.
Happy. H-A-P-P-Y. That is exactly how Rollo and Brianna made me feel the entire time I was reading their story. I laughed out loud. I smiled quietly. Oh, and I may have snicker-snorted too many times to count.
Brianna… A strong, successful businesswoman, she has almost resigned herself to always be ‘one of the boys’. Not that that was bad, but she wanted love, too. While on her quest, she revealed so many sides of herself and each one was all about love, compassion and acceptance. I loved her awkward ways, her beautiful heart and her honesty. She wasn’t mean or blunt, but just forthright and completely open with her truths. And at the same time she was so, so funny. She has a way about her that people can’t help but be drawn to. Rollo (and myself) included…
“And why had she worn a billowing, puffy-sleeved blouse under the overalls? She probably looked like a pirate wood elf. A tiny pirate elf about to stab herself with a fork.”
“This is all you, no one could ever manufacture it. I smell rose petal and moss and oak leaves and a deep lake sparkling in the sunshine.” “That lake probably has algae.”
Rollo. Sigh… A bearded lumberjack? A fierce fighter? A selfless hero? Yeah, that’s the incredibly handsome and all-around nice guy Rollo. Together, these two were going to ignite the world. Good thing Rollo is a firefighter! Together, these two were friends and if it became more, well, keep the fire extinguisher handy as it was going to get HOT!
Be prepared for a rollicking romantic comedy full of love and compassion and all kinds of hilarity. Dirty talk takes on a new dimension when these two get together! A FIVE-PLUS read! GO #TeamBROLLO!
I loved this story of two people who are friends and become so much more. Brianna is like so many women who feel they are forever going to be the side kick. Her friends are the "beautiful ones", not her. But she is. And it takes a special kind of man to help her see different. And Rollo is that man. They start out as friends but in an attempt to match make each other with someone else, they discover so much they like about each other. Rollo's character has been fun loving and happy to be anywhere throughout the first two books of this series. I'm so glad that Ms. Bernard has decided to write his story next. He is a complex character that looked so easy going before. He is from a well to do family and has to return home to take over the family business. Even though it's the furthest thing from what he really wants. Brianna is the girl next door that is a little quirky. She would rather spend time talking to her plants than people. Especially men unless she gets to know them as friends. I adore the way that these two get together. She has a crush on someone as does he. And every attempt that is made to get together with the crushes turns sour really fast. Destiny knows what should happen and keeps throwing things in their way. Once they do go after each other family gets in their way, but that doesn't stop them from trying. Theirs is a romance that is classic and modern all at the same time. He sweeps her off her feet and lets her know there is no one more beautiful than her to him. And what more could a girl ask for? I can't wait for the next installment!
What a great story, and it's still free in ebook on amazon!
If you crave meeting a pair of intelligent, moral characters and a good, just-complex-enough plot, go nab this free ebook. I kept waiting for something to annoy me, but they're just that good.
I'm surprised, because usually in m/f romances the woman isn't enough of her own hero. But not Brianna! Bri's awesome. And so is Rollo, despite his family - he is the great kind of hunky manly-man. This is book 3 in a series, but all that means is you get to catch up if you love this book as much as I did. I just added the series to my wishlist.
Into The Flames by Jennifer Bernard is a fantastic contemporary romance. Ms. Bernard has provided readers with a well-written book that is loaded with fun, lovable characters. Brianna is a landscaper with a bubbly personality but she's awkward at times. Rollo is working as a wildfire hotshot but is also rich. Rollo and Brianna's story is loaded with drama, laugh out loud humor, sexy bits and a bit of suspense and action. I enjoyed reading Into The Flames and look forward to my next book by Jennifer Bernard. Into The Flames is book 3 of the Jupiter Point Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Brianna and Rollo are set up on a blind date again. They tell everyone that they are friends. When Brianna wants Rollo to help her catch Finn's attention things change between these two. Rollo starts to see Brianna differently and Brianna realizes that she has more in common with Rollo than Finn. Things get interesting when Rollo's sister comes to town. These two decide to have a three week fling, but is it really a fling. Their friends are great and Jupiter Point sounds like a great place to live. Rollo has issues to work out with his family, but when things happen Rollo realizes what is really important in his life. Really good book! Enjoying this series!!
I love this series! It just keeps getting better with each book. Brianna and Rollo were awesome. I love their banter and ease of the friendship at the start. All their friends could see they were perfect for each other, it just took the two of them longer to figure it out, LOL.
It was nice to have Brianna be so blunt, but also so compassionate at the same time. Rollo complemented her in many ways. Their trip to NYC was just the last kick they needed to make them see how much they needed each other.
If you love firefighters and a great storyline you enjoy these books ! Rolla made a promise but he know he will be miserable. Brianna is his best friend ...but when she ask for help to try and get attention I'm Another man he realizes his feelings for her might just be a little bit deeper than friendship ... she comes yo realize after a steamy kiss she feels more too . She comes to realize that promise they could very well be the end of them... come along for the ride you will not be disappointed
I’m seriously hooked on this series! Love it! And I love Brianna & Rollo! I identify with Brianna so much. Not the elf like appearance but the awkwardness. So much awkwardness. I completely understand. Lucky for her, she has a hunky firefighter in her life. Lovely story. Lovely couple. Interesting family members. And there’s always some life or death situation going on. Sheesh! But always enjoyable. But I’m stopping at Merry’s Book. I can’t keep buying this series! I got bills to pay! Lol
I thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment in the Jupiter Point series. I loved getting to know Rollo and Brianna, although, at times, I wanted to bop them both on the nose and tell them to "wake up". At first, Rollo and Brianna are good friends trying to fix each other up with other people, but they quickly realize that their friendship has hidden a deep attraction to one another. If you enjoy sexy happily ever after stories, then give this book a chance.
Brianna Gallagher isn't exactly a girly-girl. She loves working with the dirt of the Earth, is clumsy and feels awkward in most situations. She makes friends with a Jupiter Point Hotshot/Millionaire with Rollo Wareham III. Their friendship starts to take a turn when they both awkwardly try to help each other with their respective crushes. A story with great characters, and a little romantic steam. A sure 5 star read!
A hotshot firefighter with a rich family meets a gardener and falls in love.
Rollo is rich, real rich, and he hates the way money makes his family so rude and intolerant, so he becomes a hotshot, a forest firefighter, and a darn good one. When his crew chief moved back home Rollo decides to move there too, to be part of a new hotshot team. That's where he meets her, Brianna, a tiny redheaded gardener. Can the rich boy make a life with a "normal" girl?
