The All-Mountain Skier: The Way to Expert Skiing

Rate this book
The All-Mountain Skier helps intermediate-level skiers advance their skills with a foolproof, self-instructional program for mastering ``extreme skiing'' in even the most challenging conditions. Elling delivers essential advice and information--including tips from other expert skiers--to help readers perform like pros in tough terrain and conditions such as ice, hardpack, bumps, steeps, and trees. Key skills and techniques are emphasized through drills and multiple-frame sequence photos and anatomical drawings. Troubleshooting charts help isolate weaknesses in technique and spot equipment flaws.

Sat on my bookshelf for 25 years, mainly because I snowboarded, but now I am learning to ski... great, illustrated, discussion of intermediate to advanced skiing. Still relevant even with advances in technology.
