I wanted to study the Fruit of the Spirit, again. This was a timely way for me to do that. Sarah gives great personal accounts with a quick read. There is so much scripture packed into this little book. My only complaint is it left me wanting more! Be sure to read the last chapter. It doesn't disappoint. I'm so glad that I downloaded it during the Lenten season. Thank you Sarah for writing this gem.
Organized and In-depth: much better than the average devotional
I liked how organized and in-depth this devotional is. It's much more than just a one-page anecdote or diary entry about one Scripture verse taken out of context that devotionals tend to be. This delves into each of the fruits of the Spirit, showing how each member of the Trinity shows and gives this fruit to us.
I just finished this bible study of the fruit of the Spirit. It did not take me long to read this book, and there were some really good points that I will have to go back and read. The chapters are short, and I like how the author divided each chapter into three sections; God's example, Jesus' example, and the Holy Spirit 's example. The study questions at the end of the chapters are short along with a practical application.
When life gets messy, I need a good, solid Bible teaching to remind me of the Fruit of the Spirit and what it means in my life as a believer in Christ. This sweet read was the perfect daily companion to refresh my heart. For those of us who want to demonstrate love, joy, peace, and more to those around us, I highly recommend this book.
This is a great book for new Christians and mature Christians alike. It is full of personal anecdotes that pair with biblical truths to help Christian women grow their faith. Sarah shares honestly of her struggles and teaches how we all (herself included) can look to the Holy Spirit to grow the fruit in us that we need to overcome life’s challenges. I love how Sarah makes understanding the fruits of the spirit so easy and gives real-life application for each. This was an easy read and a good companion to Galatians 5 study.
