L.P. Lovell blew me away with this second installment! 'Kiss Me' is as enthralling, gripping and well written as the first one. It’s dark, it’s raw, it’s gritty and passionate as hell. I was immersed in this book from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down. I love intense stories that keep me at the edge of my seat and this one was exactly that and so much more. Everything was so good…from the utterly addictive story-line to the two amazing main characters. I loved every aspect of this story and I wouldn’t change one single thing about it. I loved it that much!

One of the Bratva’s special soldiers, Una Ivanov is a warrior, she’s the Kiss of Death - a hired killer, feared, yet respected by many. Her life changes irrevocably when she meets Nero. Nero’s life, in turn, flips upside down when he encounters the notorious Russian killer. Respected and feared by many, Nero has always wanted power, but when he meets Una he starts wanting something else too. She is supposed to be just a weapon, in some way just a pawn, but she becomes so much more in a very short amount of time. She becomes his queen. Now, Nero wants more, he wants Una.

Una is on the run. Helping Nero was not the smartest thing she’s ever done, not when now, she has more enemies than she wants. She knows she will have to face some serious consequences for killing the under-boss of the Italian mafia. Nicholai, her “boss” is also looking for her since she has defied his order to return to Moscow. And, of course, there’s Nero, who wants more from her than a simple promise, especially now since he found out about the baby.
Nero never expected to fall so hard for Una. He knows he should let her go since everyone wants her death and she has so many enemies, but he can’t. He wants her by his side. He wants everything with her and, most of all, he wants to protect what’s his. He will kill anyone who dares to touch her, anyone who dares to stand between them. Una has gotten under his skin, so he’s willing to do anything to keep her.

Fast-paced, intense and deliciously sexy, 'Kiss Me' met all my expectations. L.P. Lovell blended the action, suspense and steam perfectly and she delivered an unputdownable read that I devoured from start to finish. The story is truly addictive and I read it from cover to cover. I loved all the twists and turns and I was at the edge of my seat the entire time.
Una and Nero are amazing in this installment. Both are fantastically portrayed and both are crazy as f@ck, which, personally, I loved very much. Both of them are strong , complex and captivating characters. Once again, I loved Una. She’s smart, strong, fierce and dangerous and, overall, a bada$$ heroine. Nero is perfect for Una in every way and I truly felt that as the story unfolded. I loved him in this installment. I loved his power and charisma, his smart and cunning ways and how possessive and protective he was of Una. He’s sweet and caring, considerate and thoughtful. The way he wants to protect Una is fantastic and I loved the fact that he was willing to do anything to have her.
“He’s like my own personal high, a shot of adrenalin straight to my soul, reminding me of what it is to be alive, to be human.”
My favorite aspect of the story is the crazy dynamic between the two main characters. Not only are they entertaining, but they are also sexy as hell. The connection between them is palpable and the sexy times are smocking. I loved the intensity between them and how explosive they were. Without a doubt, they are perfect for each other in every way.
All in all, 'Kiss Me' is a fantastic read. If you are looking for an intense, fast-paced, crazy ride filled with action, suspense and steam, look no further and try this one…but only after you read the first installment of the series, 'Kill Me'.

Holy. Shit. I'm pretty sure my eyes stayed wide open during this whole reading experience, and I'm not too sure my mouth was actually ever shut either. Once I started reading I was completely captivated and unable to put this book down. L.P Lovell went to some extremes in this book that I never thought possible, and I loved every second of it. I really can't believe what I just read but boy did I enjoy it.
Nero and Una were the same fucked up characters I remember from Kill Me, and I mean that in the best way possible. I couldn't get enough of their crazy, violent love for one another. These characters are both already very demented but together they make each other somehow even crazier, leaving me unable to look away from the insanity that they give to this story.
That same raw, unhinged, sexual chemistry that Nero and Una shared in the previous book is also present. I loved that they still had that need for each other, and that Ms. Lovell stayed true to these characters. Their need for one another was undeniable, just like my need for their connection was.
Bottom line, if you're into dark book with some very fucked up characters, this is the series for you. I highly recommend it, and can't wait to see what everyone else thinks of this couple.

Normal is a subjective concept.
For Una and Nero, normal was danger, killing and fighting. Either for protection or revenge.
In this case, they were going to a great war!
They were the most feared people in the world and absolutely perfect for each other.
«Nero and I are stronger together than we are apart. And with him at my side, we are a force of nature, a fucking hurricane.» Una
Nero’s brutality crossed the line in this part. He went to a war and didn’t care for any casualties he left behind! In order to save Una he even started killing innocent people.
Oh yes!! He more than cared for Una!! He had deep feelings for her, without altering his monstrous character.
«Ours is a love that burns so hot and bright that it destroys everything in its path. Separate, we are strong, but together we are unstoppable.» Una
While I was consumed by this incredible series, I had a few issues with this part. I couldn’t be convinced of Una fighting under her ‘delicate’ condition and a few parts of the story were slightly dragging.
Overall, it was a fabulous dark and twisted series that I didn’t want to stop reading!!
In the near future I would like to read the stories of Anna and Sasha! 🤩

★ 4 “My broken, savage queen” stars!!! ★
Essa série me consumiu durante todo o final de semana! Não consegui fazer nada enquanto não chegasse ao último.
Dark. Intenso. Violento. Sangrento.
No geral, eu gostei desse livro mas não com a mesma intensidade que o anterior.
Algumas coisas me incomodaram, o que em determinados pontos, deixou a leitura um pouco arrastada.
Essa série me consumiu durante todo o final de semana! Não consegui fazer nada enquanto não chegasse ao último.

Kiss me, book 2 in the Kiss of Death series, continues right where book 1 left us, with Una being at the crossroads of facing a huge decision involving another life while she fights against the hitmen and a price on her head. And Nero is on her track of getting her back.

Absolutely fantastic closure to this series. I loved every segment of it. The characters, the story, the action...every. single. thing. It thrilled me, excited me with suspense and anticipation, riled up with angst and pent up with passionate tension, I simply devoured it.
LP Lovell outdid herself and this story and these characters will definitely stay with me for a long time...

Una and Nero are back! More bloodshed and explosions! I couldn't put this down.
Una is on the run because she doesn't want Nicholai to get his hands on her unborn child. If Nicholai gets her child, the child would become the ultimate weapon.
All she wants to do is to do one good thing in her life, and she wants to give the child to a loving family. A normal life. But her dreams are just dreams. Reality has other plans for her.
Una and Nero are in a war with unfavorable odds. Although there are a lot of exciting scenes, there are also a lot of parts where the characters just wait for Nicholai to make a move. I wish some parts sped up a bit. But even with the waiting, I still loved the action and steamy scenes.

Gah! I loved this book!!
Una is as kick-ass as ever. Seeing her vulnerability in this book just made her THAT much more of an amazing heroine. The way the men fear her, and the way she acts towards Nero's men is so hilarious. I stand by what I said in my last review- she is by far one of my FAVORITE heroines. She's unpredictable and I love how she keeps Nero on his toes.
And Nero, omgggg Nero. I loved him even more in this book. I love how he both fears and loves Una at the same time. I also love how he calls her morte as a term of endearment. So funny.
This book was everything I hoped it would be and more! L.P. Lovell never ceases to amaze me. The writing was great and the story line kept me on my toes up until the very end!

The Kiss of death series has been an enjoyable treat. Very seldom do I get to read badass leading heroines who doesn't waver from their persona's.....and Una don't!
She's wickedly sarcastic, cobra like lethal, other times funny! She's the kinda gal you wouldn't want to lower your guard with because if you did....you'd also be very dead!
Nero is the mother load of book boyfriends! Hot, monstrous, alpha to a fault and always ten steps ahead of his enemies. If all else fails he'll burn everything to the ground around him!
You get the two together, the bodies hits the floor. Epic conclusion for a thrilling series and one I'll be reading again and again!

Essentially a replica of the first book, with the added addition of Una being pregnant, and Nero protecting his assets. She's blood-thirsty, and ready to kill the very man who created the trained assassin she is today. Supposedly both are smart, but I found some decisions very rash and illogical. Though they love one another, they have no care for others: cold, heartless hypocrites who spill innocent blood. I believed the aim of this book should of been to make the reader feel for unfeeling characters. It didn't succeed in doing that for me.
I can't take the arrogant, dark, cliche dialogue. It annoyed me in the first book, and now seems to have increased by tenfold. This constant - do you know who I am? I am the Kiss of Death. Girl we know. Stop telling us, and just show it. The best don't need to brag. It just became really boring after 40%, and a drag until the last 10%.
Una is headstrong, and takes five months of torture after the birth of her child. We should have felt and connected with her - I didn't. This may not have been on others minds, but I want to know whether Nero was loyal/celibate in the separation? I'd like to think he was. Una is his formidable equal and he had a kid to manage. But my mind taunted me... Also, I like sex in a book. I believe he went down on her once, she didn't(?) and they pretty much did missionary. Versatility is the spice of life.

Kiss Me is the follow up to Kill Me and to say I have been not so patiently waiting for book two is totally right!
Nero and Una should not be together, Nero is in the Italian mob and Una is a trained Russian assassin, but there's no fighting their lust, love, and hate for each other.
First off, I love mafia books!! they are my weakness, so I feel as though I am picky when it comes to books in that genre, BUT with that said this book did not disappoint. It was an action packed love story and I loved every heart pounding moment of it.
Nero is so sexy and scary. I loved his character so much. His Love and devotion to Una can't be topped. And Una, my god if you are ever going to love a badass female character she is the one to love. She will kill anyone who gets in her way and I do mean anyone.
I don't want to give anything away because what would be the fun in that, just know both books take you on a crazy ride and I absolutely loved every minute of it!

I fondly remember getting the ARCs for Make Me and Kiss Me a few years ago and absolutely loving Una and Nero. I couldn't wait to finish their story and I can't believe I slept on this for so long. It was such a blast getting back into the blood, mayhem, death and drama that made up these characters lives.
At the end of Kill Me, Una ran. She knew she was pregnant, she knew that she would never be safe, she knew that Nero would die protecting her, and she felt she was out of options. As long as she ran and killed and became the Kiss of Death, she'd be alright.
Girl drove me nuts and kept me well entertained. I loved how the author created this character that was extremely hard to like, but impossible not to. I loved to hate Una and I respected the heck out of her character. She made some questionable movements in this book and I wondered why she kept getting away with her behavior, but she had Nero, this ruthless killer, wrapped around her finger so I wasn't really surprised.
It was a little hard to be convinced of Una's devotion to Nero at times. Some of what she did made her motives unclear. And while I had patience with her because of all she had gone through, her attitude finally started to grate on my nerves. But then she'd surprise me with her tender thoughts for my honey Nero and I was Team Una once again.
After all the suspense, thrills, murder, assassinations, betrayals, plans and utter chaos, Una and Nero actually got a happy ending. What? I'm so happy! But I'm not done with these people and I've already got Sasha's story on lock. I need to know how this cold killer finds his heart. I'm hoping to dive into Una's sister's story shortly after that.
If you're looking for a story that will leave you on the edge of your seat, gripping your kindle like a mad person in anticipation of what's going to happen next, this series is definitely for you!

Where to start? I was in the mood for something dark and boy, this book did deliver. This was crazy but I couldn't stop reading it.
Una Ivanov. One deadly package. They called her The Kiss of Death. A hired killer. Taken from an orphanage at 13 and trained to be impassive where death is a job, a necessity. Feared by many. Dangerous and unpredictable.
" It's cute that you think anyone could protect you if I wanted you dead."
Not feeling anything always kept her safe, focused, efficient. The perfect killer. Then, she became a pawn in Nero's game. And under his touch she feels alive. She feels.
"Nero is my version of a fairy tale, blood soaked and ruthless. What was once a bloody battle now feels like the sweetest surrender, the melding of two war torn souls embracing each other's scars. "
Nero Verdi, a monster with no boundaries. Ruthless, vicious and violent. Started as an enforcer in the Italian mafia but became underboss in months. He wants power and he knows just how to get it.
Una and Nero are the monsters in this story. They are unstoppable, volatile, awful but perfect together. The bloodshed and battle shaped them and made them strong. They are like two halves of the whole, drawn to one another's darkness.

4.90 stars! Oh how I love a good bloodstained-mafia-story with a badass h and a dominant equal H. I even loved this part more than the first one, because I felt more connected to the MC's. While Una felt sometimes cold and distant in the first part, she opened up to Nero now. They were both ruthless and bloodthirsty and twisted aaaand so good for each other. I loved their humour, especially after smashing someone. Huh I guess I have a dark side after all. Hehe!

Kiss Me was another awesome book featuring Nero and Una. I really love these two together, they are so violent and brutal but they love so fiercely. If you thought Una was crazy before now pregnant she's like an animal running on instinct. Nero shows a side to him that was brutal in his quest to get Una back. It was a battle for them to get back together but it was an exciting ride. I would love to see a book on Anna and also Sasha.
Kiss Me is still a 5 star read. I honestly can't get enough of Nero and Una, I would love another book for them.

Ah. What a satisfying conclusion to this duet
This book had me crying, cringing, swooning, but also smiling when things finally fell into place, and we got to the long-awaited HEA. This is on the dark side, and I definitely felt it more in this book versus book 1.
The book continues from where book 1 leaves off. Una’s pregnant and she knows what it means- it means Nicholai will want her child and keep him/her for himself, and she doesn’t want that. So she’s gonna run- away from Nicholai, away from danger, away from Nero 🥺and Nero isn’t having it. While she’s killing and running for her life, Nero’s looking for her, and when he finds her, she’s gonna regret leaving him 😈.
Except when he finds her, he realizes why she left, but that’s not gonna stop him from keeping her and protecting her… or from showing her why he’s the alpha-male boss we love, and I was here for it 💅.
Sure, there weren’t as many aggressive, fighting smexxy times like in book 1, but this book shows the depth of their connection❤️, the visceral rawness of their passion🥵, and it was just as passionate and scorching as book 1🔥. The way they connect and make eye-contact, coupled it with the life they created and the love they feel, was perfection. Gawd, I FELT their emotions, their love, which totally brought tears to my eyes. Their relationship evolved, and I couldn’t read fast enough ❤️ (side note- we still get a good, solid and full fighting smexxy time… what can I say? I love the the MCs are kicking each other’s a$$e$ 😂😂😂).
We still see the bloodshed like in book 1, and the darkness escalates because of what Nero and Una are forced to do because of Nicholai. There were times I was cringing and hoping that my eyes were deceiving me, but alas, life isn’t always flowers and rainbows, and we get a front-row seat to the harshness of the mafia world and life. Things happen for a reason, and the comeuppance is SATISFYING 💅👀😅.
I loooved it! Was it perfect? No. I found mistakes, but in the grand scheme of the plot, I didn’t even care 😅👏🏻❤️.

What an amazing ending!
This action-packed series will keep you at the edge of your seat with every scene that are volatile, suspenseful, and exciting at the same time. Una is such a bad-ass heroine, she may not admit it, but when it comes to the people she love she willing to sacrifice everything. Nero will do anything to protect Una, his love for her is unconditional. Together they represent a formidable team.
L.P. Lovell is a new author to me, who's book was recommended to me by my book friends, and I'm so glad I listened to them. Because I just loved how it was written, it was flawless! The characters are well developed and really unpredictable! Looking forward to read more books from this author!

~ 4.5 "Vicious Butterfly" Stars ~
First of all, I love this cover. Secondly, I love this series. If you have not read Kill Me then stop right now. You need to read that first as Kiss Me picks up where it left off and my review could possibly provide you with some spoilers. It's no secret that I'm a dark romance whore. I've realized that my tastes are getting darker and darker. I love that fact that this series has helped feed my addiction. If someone where to randomly pull up my quotes from my dark reads, they might just have me committed and I'm OK with that.
How do I summarize this without giving too much away? Hmm...let me see. I think Nero can do that for me.
"Once. Just once, I'd like a normal fucking day; the odd drug deal, perhaps a revenge killing, but no. I have to deal with stalker Russians, cartels, sex slave sisters, and last but not least my pregnant, and very temperamental assassin girlfriend. Fuck!"
Yep, that settles that. Pretty much anything you could be looking for is in this series. Nero and Una keep us on the edge of our seats. Not only with them each having their own drama but with them also fighting each other. They both have an urge for blood bath and I love the fact that Nero always says he doesn't know if Una is going to kiss him or kill him.
My favorite part of this book is watching Una turn into the woman that she was always meant to be. The woman she was destined to be before she was stripped down and reborn as the deadly assassin that we first meet. Everything she does is for love and to watch her strength and resolve during the tough times is extremely admirable.
This story is raw, gritty and down right vicious but at the same time, it's hauntingly beautiful. You will be kept in suspense and full of drama but most importantly, you will fall in love with Nero and Una just like they did with each other. There couldn't be two people more perfect for each other. King and Queen side by side, protecting each other with everything they have. Don't miss out! If you like darker reads, then make sure you read this series.

KM resumes beautifully where book one ended. Kudos to Lovell for not wasting time with niceties! Una, my girl, from chapter one to the very last word, is beast! She's a one person killing machine. She's taking no prisoners! Parallel to that storyline is heartthrob, Nero. Totally obsessed with Una. Together this powerhouse is taking down every empire, every threat, without pause.....
The kill scenes are my favorite! Lovell has a hell of an imagination! Lovell knocked the scenes out of the park, around the corner, and through the woods! Una and Nero are hilarious. Two alphas fighting to top the other in and out of the bedroom....very interesting scenes!

Wooooow sin duda mi cabeza quedó hecha un lio por todo lo que pasó.
A Nero lo ameee, a Una ni se diga es una de esas protagonistas que de verdad con el poder que tienen a pesar de haber vivido todo lo que vivió es una mujer super fuerte, inquebrantable y muchas cosas más.
Sin duda seguiré leyendo la historia de Rafael y Anna por que WOW me dejó intrigada sobre qué pasará con esta pareja, así como también la historia de Sasha por que AMEEEE todo lo que sacrificio y arriesgo por Una enserio ameeeee 🤩🌟

In the last book Una claims that the Queen is to protect her King but when Nicholai discover his little Dove the best of the Russian Elite is pregnant with Nero's baby a man who is feared throughout the Italian Mafia Nicholai sees the ultimate weapon....
Una's baby, to be trained as she was also trained from a child, to be the best to be what all men fear....The Angel of death.
At the end of the last book Una tries to go into hiding to protect her child, going off grid but Nero finds Una and...

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. Books #1 and #0.5 (released in that order) were dark and gripping, with a psychological element. The push and pull, not only between Nero and Una but also within themselves, is riveting.
Una is strong, fearsome and so very stubborn and the road these traits lead us down is fraught with tension.
Nero is formidable, loyal and lethal. The beguiling magnetic pull that LP Lovell has captured is sure to keep you as entertained as I was.
There are more than a few heart-stopping moments.
I must add that I would love to read Anna's story, particularly if it's as enthralling as this series. 5 Stars, highly recommended.

Intense! Dark! And oh so bloody!
Nero and Una wreak havoc in this thrilling conclusion to the Kiss of Death series!!
Nero and Una are the perfect storm. A deadly mix of intelligence and insanity, they are bloodthirsty and ruthless to the core. You see them coming, you better run!
"Lust and violence swirl between us, mixing with a mutual need to protect the same thing. For the first time, Una and I are completely on the same team and I can feel the power of that. We are one, and we will be fucking unstoppable."
"Nero and I are stronger together than we are apart. And with him at my side, we are a force of nature, a fucking hurricane."
Una is fierce and force to be reckoned with. The decisions she is forced to make and the unimaginable and endless pain and torture this woman lives through would bring even the toughest of men to their knees.
Nero, through all his brutality and viciousness is perfect for Una. It’s utterly amazing that these two seemingly inhuman people can love. Yet, their love is passionate and intense. As hard as they try to control their emotions, it's impossible when it comes to each other.
Nero would take on the world and will do anything to protect his queen. You’d think that would be admirable but the atrocities this man commits in the name of love is absolutely horrendous. Jaw dropping. Horrific. I just can’t even...
Una, is probably the most kick-ass, uncontrollable, fiercest, and unbelievably bloody heroine I have ever read. She is a raging firestorm that can’t be put out. Now she has a child and we all know not to mess with a mother and her cub. She will do anything and sacrifice anything for this child.
I loved the humorous elements in this book. With all the violence and horrors the wit was much needed.
Most men would say have a great day honey, Nero on the other hand...
"Try not to kill anyone,” I say. “I’d hate to think of you having fun without me.”
A normal woman would maybe pick out her man’s tie, trim the hair. Una however...
“You are far too pretty to be a mafia boss. Sure you don’t want me to give you a few scars? Make you look more badass?”
I loved this series even through it’s depravity and horrors. The writing and story was riveting and I would love to see the storyline continue with books for Anna and Sasha.

Gah, I love Nero!! AND I love Nero and Una together.
I loved everything about this series. I found myself stalling on reading it because I didn't want it to end. I was a nervous wreck while reading it.
Kill Me does not end with a cliffhanger, the end of the series is way more than I expected and I'm so happy with it!!
I'm hoping like hell that Lovell gives us another fabulous series about Rafael D'Cruze & Anna (y'all know she has a hard story to tell) and Una's Elite brother, Sasha!! I think there is a lot more to Sasha and I want to know it all!!!
