Reeva Lucas is a young woman on a mission, and she doesn’t care who she hurts in the process, even if she’s the one that must be saved. But soon enough, her fast lifestyle is going to catch up with her, and she’ll have to live with the consequences. Pastor Jeremy Duncan is no stranger to trouble, but he’s put that all behind him… so he thinks. When he meets “Reeva”, he knows he’s in for a world of problems, but she’s hard to resist. Both fight hard to keep their secrets to themselves, but a shared secret is about to make their lives more complicated than ever before.
A little young skank. Goodness, this child has eclipsed her mother’s whorish ways -all while in high school. The book definitely keeps you engaged, as you trying to figure out how a child could be so advanced. And a child that has been raised in the church. Kia Summers paints her characters in such life-like situations.
To me this book was like a recap of the books I've read from this author before just from someone else point of view, hopefully second book of this series bring something different
I love the story line, character, etc, but it was too short just to have 3 more parts with the same amount of pages. This could've easily been two parts with 220+ pages instead of 4.
This was a quick, measured. Pretty good book. Looking forward to book two. Reeves seems to be a child who decided to focus on the wrong thing. How will she cope with her church family and life with a child.
This story !I e is good but all the info in this book was told in Tyrone story it's way to many books for this story line this may be the first series I don't read all the way though
Well this is a turn of events. This was a little slow but I assume the writer is laying the foundation. I would have preferred that she would have made one book. I feel like I am never going to see the end.
Well, it took me at least 8 hours to read this. It has a good story plot, but it was soooooooo, sllloooowwwww!!!!!! I hope the next few books are better.
This book is mediocre in my opinion. Reeva is a trip and seems to love playing games. There are several more parts to this story but my interest stops here
I guess the saying is true. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Reeva was a child seeking attention. The wrong type of attention though. Looking at her mother I can see where Reeva got her promiscuous ways from. This child is playing with fire and don't care who life she ruins in the process.
