Hi, I’m DK (Danelle) Herman. I was born, raised, and live in a small town in Central Pennsylvania. I've traveled a bit, but I love my home on top of a mountain. I'm married to a wonderful man. I've known him since first grade! We have no children, but my husband and I love to spoil our dog, a Labradane puppy. I spend my time writing, walking, spending time with my family, and reading. My taste in books is as varied as my taste in music. I also enjoy older movies, some newer TV shows, (not reality TV, yuck), cooking, crafts, classic cars, and sitting on my porch. A porch swing is a wonderful thing! I love hearing from readers! You can contact me through my website, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
Enjoyed this 2nd book in the series as much as I did the first. Love the characters. Really fast reading. Nice fo read a story without a lot of profanity. Just purchased the third book in the series called "Down Colder". Mystery fans, don't miss this one!
The author is from my home town and I learned about her books from a Facebook post on a group for the town's present and past residents. I read the first book and liked it so much I read the second in the series. I'm going to read all the rest of the books. Hailey James reminds me of Sue Grafton's heroine. The plots are fast-paced and we'll thought out I like the reoccurring characters and the humor added to the mystery story.
