May 11, 2023DNF at 3%. I might try reading the 2nd book in this series but I'm not sure. This author's forbidden shifters series was great but the writing in this one was soooo bad! For example:

Cute story about a human woman, Lucy, who is stolen from the earth realm and tossed into the dragon realm to be the broodmare for a power-hungry dragon king. Amos is her bodyguard, and boy does he guard her body...
I am glad I have the next couple of books so I can find out what happens to everyone.
The Dragon’s Touch
This is Zara and Solar's story. Zara was rescued by Solar and the other rebels in the last book. She was mated to the king but he couldn't claim her body until she reached maturity. Solar grew up with Zara and it has taken all his strength to resist her. He has done his best to put a distance between them, but all his machinations are for naught when she reaches maturity and he scents her.
Dragon’s Desire
The Oracle travels to the human realm and meets his mate, Aurora, and her son. She will be introduced to the Dragon Realm and meet his parents Amos and Lucy. Now they just have to find the true dragon king.

I really liked this book. Surprisingly enough I haven't read any of the others in the series, though I do own them. I just kept thinking there must be books about these other couples and I was happy to figure out that I already had them, duh.
So, the story starts at a strip club, what could go wrong? Idris is a bouncer and Isla is a stripper. He adores her from afar and she ignores him. When she approaches him one night because she has car trouble, he is surprised that she even knows his name. When he asks her to dance for him in payment, and not even in private, she decides to make it a show he will ever forget. Unfortunately, there is someone else in the audience that has never forgotten her.
Isla ran from her past life when the man she was seeing, Ivan. murdered someone in front of her. She has been moving from place to place ever since. When Ivan anonymously offers her a lot of money for a private dance, she accepts. Idris saves her when Ivan tries to strangle her and they run.
I am not going to tell you where the dragons come into the story. It is pretty entertaining and you need to read it for yourself. Even though this book was #4 of the series, I followed along with no problem. Enjoy.

I loved these books so much they are on my to be listened to again list.
The series is told from the POV of the MMC of each book the but all lead to the same conclusion to kill the king and end his tyranny. The first book is about Amos who is ordered by his tyrant king to kidnap Lucy a human girl so the king can mate with her . Amos realise he’s in love with Lucy and fights the king for her and he and Lucy escape to the human realm.
Book 2 is about Solar the leader of the resistance after he helps Amos and Lucy escape they take Zara with them so she won’t be used by the king when she reaches her mating age. Zara decides after being a slave wife to the king she doesn’t want any man that’s until she reaches her mating age and realises Solar is her man.
Book 3 is about O he’s an oracle and there’s some funny moments when he blurts things out then realises they are the future . He has seen his mate is Mel a human and he tracks her down and he sweeps her off her feet in his i own way and he earns the respect of her 8 year old son Ike.
Book 4 is about Idris who has been brought up by his mother in a small town but he always knew he was meant to be something more. He’s a bouncer in a strip bar where he protects the dancers and is falling in love with one of the and an underground fighter. Then Isla is attacked and he saves her and takes her to his Mothers home to find his long lost father and brother who drop the bombshell he’s a dragon shifter too.

It's review time 🎧
Warning ⚠️ : fantasy, full series, shifters story, reverse harem.
Narrator score🎧 ; both narrator's were absolutely great. I love Jeo Arden and he was a part of the reasons I choose this bundle. The famele narrator was a first for me, and she was great.
Level of steam🔥: well, you might think that a harem story will be more with sex then with a plot, but you will be wrong, ohhh they do have sex in the book quite a lot of it.
But we do have a solid story and it's great.
Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: well, its a fantasy world and you have some moments that will make you sad to think about, but I don't think this bundle is sad it's a very nice fantasy. But it isn't a sad one.
The book itself📖: I didn't know what to expect, but I loved the book. I'm so glad I've got this bundle to listen to. Its a great fantasy, the world the author created was solid. I did wish I would have more explanation about the rogue hunters and they true motivation. Because yes I understand hatred for 5he sake of it, but usually it starts with a reason we didn't get in here.

I really enjoyed this dragon shifter series. There are 4 books in the series and each was interconnected with an arc about overthrowing the current despot that is the leader of the dragon kingdom. I liked all the characters but especially O, the oracle- he was a hoot throughout all the books but I especially loved the book (book 3) when he finds his mate.
That said, each book was well done and fast moving. Each book is pretty short but a lot happens that not just showcase the strength of the couple but also continue with the thread of building the strategy against the current king.
I read the ebook but also listened to the audiobook, which i received upon request. While i always wish for a dual narration for a romance because there's always a male and female voice, Meghan Kelly does a really good job playing all the characters. She effortlessly goes from female to male characters and I enjoyed her story-telling. If you like dragon shifter romances with a balance of romance, steaminess, and action, this is a great one!

Oracle and Melanie's story is fun and steamy. They share an instant attraction and a hot chemistry. They are great characters. The storyline is entertaining, fast-paced, steamy, and fun! Melanie's son is a great kid, smart and fun. I enjoyed it.

surprisingly believable
I read this series last because somehow in my mind it seems more ‘fantastic’ that the other shifter series I’ve read. But interestingly, I’ve loved every minute of it. Selena Scott is a great writer in that she doesn’t waste time making it longer than needed, she doesn’t say descriptive words, or expletives over and over in the books just because, and she keeps the mystery of what’s to come but keeps gently reminding the reader of the earlier characters. Her story line is not predictable, but interesting with twists, and still solid throughout. It drives the reader to keep devouring the book and keep sinking into the beautiful, exciting, fierce, believable dragon/human shifter world living between these pages.

Kinda awful
I read the prolog tailing another book and decided to give it a shot. Funny,amusing prolog and never seen again. Awful. Unbelievable characters leading to gross romance and that’s with the fated bs lovers. Coming from my idiot butt and years of fated shifter romance which I actually sought out this one seriously put me off. I actually put the book down the page before the first romance scene because I thought it would be bad.. but then tried to read more. Nope, nope, yuck. Not the worst, but in hundreds of shifter romance, second worst. I’m did not make it to books 2-4. So no clue there. Will delete to save myself life I can’t get back.

Omg I loved this book!!!!! This is my first (1-4) set of book's I have listened by this author. I was hooked from the beginning. It will be added to my favorite reads. Cannot wait to see what she write next. Love the progression of the romance, and the family background. If you like shape shifters and hot ones at that, don’t miss this one! Quite the entertaining listen!! (little blush) Will definitely recommend this book to others. Meghan Kelly has a great voice, and she did a great job with the narration.

Awesome
I truly enjoyed this book!!! This is my second bundle by this author the first I read was secret shifters of Spokane and this bundle of books was just as great. I love how the books were connected but were still individual books. I highly recommend this book series. If you love shifters or even if you just love dragons you will not be disappointed.

Omg... From start to finish this really keeps you reading... The storyline is magical and the build up with all the various character story lines were enticing and the sex... Just wow!!... Never a dull moment in this series of books and the humour added went perfectly. O was my favourite character the whole way through <3 my sort of guy :-)

Really enjoyed this box set. Haven’t read this author before so was looking forward to an easy, fast paced read. Books aren’t that long but have great characters throughout the mystical world of the dragon realm and the human realm. Dragon shifters and humans falling in love and fighting the tyrant king. Best Ever
I am so in love with the Dragon Realm and sincerely hope that the series will continue. Although it was good to be introduced to the true king; it was even better that Dalyer the usurper was finally destroyed. However, it would definitely be enjoyable to revisit the Dragon Realm for updates on all the characters.

Dragon Series
I have been reading Scotts novels for a while now and I love them!
This series is all about dragons. There’s a lot of action a lot of love. Super easy to read and enjoy. All the characters have enough development without being overly complicated when tying all the characters in the series.

dragons, Dragons Everywhere.
I borrowed this great read on kindle unlimited. I couldn’t stop reading. Selena Scott made a believer out of me. Her characterizations literally came to life in my minds eye. I could picture all the vivid nuances of each dragon and their mates. Fantastic series and all together in a boxed set. Perfect!

Very awesome read
While I did enjoy this set, there were several places, throughout the series, that need to be re-edited. In the last one, there is a paragraph that is repeated a twice. But, as far as the overall story, it's good. A lot of lead up to a very quick and short ending.

Shifter stories (dragons included) are my go-to reads. The Dragon Realm is a great series with interesting characters fighting tyranny, meeting their mate, and working toward an HEA. I enjoyed this series and will read other work by this author.

Each book in this series is individual but they all blend together to give you a beautiful exciting read, lots of romance, filled with strong dominant men and equally strong determined women. Excellent series well worth the read.

Oh my I loved this series. It had me going and wanting to finish to find out what happens. I loved all of the guys they all sound so hot and yummy. The ladies are so nice and fiesty, gotta love that. Thank you for the wonderful stories, I really enjoyed them.
