Having absolutely loved the ingenuity and originality of the first installment, this second in the series also did not disappoint me. The novel goes straight into the action, wastes no time and speed straight to the end seemingly without a chance for the reader to catch their breath. It is exciting and so much fun to read. The characters excel at clever problem solving and thinking outside the box of time and space, which makes for an interesting read. I still love the dynamics of this special kind of time travel. Randy Anderson does a very good job of isolating the travelers and re-setting the world around them after they are gone, which works to avoid some otherwise common flaws and time travel novels. Also, even though this is the second installment, the rules are frequently re-explained to ensure the reader is not too confused. Also, this novel has a few different characters in vastly different time periods, yet they are all connected very well and the reader always clearly knows where and when they are. I loved the realistically mushy morals of the characters and the fact that none of them where purely good or purely bad. And in the end, this novel does not fall into a common second-installment trap - because there is still plenty of mystery left at the end that warrants a third installment. I can't wait.

Read the second book in two days flat; it flows flawlessly from part one (Time Phantom: Amsterdam). I love how the characters are so intertwined. I especially found the development of Tonja and her story intriguing and can tell there will be more in-depth exploration of her character and history/future in the third book. The second book also ends with such a cliff hanger; I can’t wait to read what happens next!

I need the 3rd

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. But I need the next book. I am impatient to see how the story lines collide and what happens to Dane and Cooper.

This series is quick and super addicting. As a fan of world building and plot-dumping I'd love a little more, but the breathless pace keeps me from fixating. I really enjoy the dual stories, as well.
