Discover how to use crystal grids, which harness the powerful energy of crystals, to improve well-being and manifest your desires.
Crystals are renowned throughout the world as natural healers, but they not only heal, they also affect how we feel and our responses to the world around us. They are energy-boosters which help enhance our experience of living at every level, and can protect us by detoxifying our physical, emotional, and spiritual systems from the stresses and strains of life. Within a crystal grid, their potential is enhanced, magnified, and directed. The Book of Crystal Grids presents all these amazing benefits in a format that’s direct and easy to use. First, discover what crystal grids are and how and why they work, including the principles behind the power of crystal healing, how crystal grids create energy fields, and the theory of sacred geometry. Learn how to create a crystal grid, empowering it through the selection, color, and shape of the crystals in the grid, and how to give the grid a focus by setting an intention and meditating. Then, explore 50 different crystal grids, each photographed with clear instructions, for a range of specific purposes, from love and romance to travel, and from promoting health to self-esteem and confidence. A color-coded directory of over 100 common crystals and their energy benefits when used inside a crystal grid is also provided. Illustrated throughout with color photographs, and supplemented with practical exercises and case studies, The Book of Crystal Grids is the ultimate practical reference from a highly respected crystal author, healer, and teacher.
I'd recommend this book to people who already have a starter collection of stones and want to get started using grids with them. If you're a complete newbie to crystals, this book will be useful but also might scare you off with the sheer number of stones used in most of the grids. (It'll also scare your pocketbook.) If you're comfortable making substitutions for the given stones, this may be more useful to you.
The beginning presents starter information and gives a short crash course in the uses of crystals for energy work, then dives right into how using them in grids can further amplify this ability. Each section builds upon the last until you have been given a complete walk-through of creating and activating a grid, as well as when/how to cleanse it, whether or not you want to make it permanent, and suchlike. Each also includes a basic grid with a minimum of stones suitable to someone with a small collection or just getting started with grids. These are also largely much more versatile than the premade grids in the second part of the book.
Speaking of, the second part is divided into multiple broad topics, with several premade grids for specific purposes under each topic. These are customisable through the use of your specific intention, or for more general use for that grid's overall stated purpose. Again, if you are comfortable making stone substitutions, this part will be of more use to you. There is no information given in this part of the book (or the first, introductory part, for that matter) on why a particular pattern (Megatron's Cube or Seed of Life, for example) was chosen for a particular grid, so that is fairly limiting for anyone wanting to go beyond the book's contents.
Following the premade grids, there is a small but informative directory of about 100 crystals, divided by colour. Each entry has an excellent photo of the stone, as well as information on its formations, colour variations, and correspondences to chakras, healing properties, and grid keywords. This is wonderful for the substitutions I keep talking about, as well as guiding future purchases for one's collection.
Finally, the back of the book has blank grid templates of all the shapes/patterns used throughout the book. The purpose is stated as direct use of the page or photocopying for standalone use. Unfortunately, the book is perfect bound (pages glued directly to spine), so there is no practical way to do either of these things without breaking the spine of the book. Even then, you would most like need to weight the pages down somehow to get it to lie flat in order for your grid stones to remain stationary. That being said, the templates are also available for download on the author's website, so you can access them and print them to the desired size easily enough.
Had a lot of information and good grid resources that you can print or photocopy out of the book it’s self as well as an online site to reference further materials. All diagrams and step by step instructions were fairly easily understood.
I felt this book lacked very clear explanation as to the whys and how’s of making crystal grids. I was also disappointed at how complex some of the grids were and wished that there were much simpler versions or a little info as to what to use as alternative crystals.
An excellent book on a subject I have been fascinated by ages. There is so much knowledge packed in to this book but everything is explained with great clarity. I learnt a lot and can’t wait to get my crystals working for the good of all.
This is by far the best Crystal Grid book I’ve read! I’ve been doing grids for years and I have several books that are great.. but this one has everything! Whether you’re a beginner or expert, this is great book to have!
