Part-time student, full-time Soul Reaper, Ichigo is one of the chosen few guardians of the afterlife.

Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow—a malevolent lost soul—Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace. Find out why Tite Kubo’s Bleach has become an international manga smash-hit!

The feud between the Soul Reapers and Quincies is as long as it is complicated, and for Ichigo Kurosaki, it just got personal. His mother was from a Quincy family before she married his Soul Reaper father. And now Ichigo’s dual heritage has been unleashed in the form of his true Zanpaku-to. But while Ichigo is fighting to come to terms with his real nature, the countdown to the last nine days of the world has begun…

The battle continues . . . The Thousand Year Blood War (now officially my favourite arc.)

Ichigo learnt of his past and how it would form his future - the Quincys invaded or were they there the whole time? I think it is interesting to process the thoughts of the same world on the same plain and then merge them into one :D

So much death and destruction . . .

My favourite battle - the Quincy of fear - Gave me the creeps! Yay on Byakua for returning!

This wasn't as emotional as the previous volume but . . . it kept me entertained. Onward to the next volume :)

rating of the last 3 omnibus volumes:
Vol. #19: ★★★★★
Vol. #20: ★★★★★
Vol. #21: ★★★★☆ (4.5)

This arc is pure fire. Such a big difference from the last one. All the fights and world building we are getting are amazing.
Kenpachi vs Unohana is one of the best 1v1 in ever, and the anime did it so well!
I wish Rukia had her very own moment, without her brother giving her a hand, but it was really cool seeing her bankai.

Much better than the last one. Nice to see characters other than Ichigo actually kicking ass. I thought hats and clogs' solution to the stolen Bankai made sense and worked well. Like the plot twist and back story of Yhwach.

Two problems. No spoilers but a certain Captain shouldn't have survived a certain fight. Also two Stern Ritter were basically defeated in the same way. Which is lazy writing.

Otherwise I was pretty happy.

I was pretty excited to read this volume, considering that it had been out of print for about 2 years.
I am not disappointed.
It has a nice pace, nice character evolution and it is actually nice that besides the Zangetsu’s reveal it barely focus on Ichigo.
All in all it really was worth the wait 😊

Loving the new and final arc, not nearly as much as the Aizen/Arrancar arc but still pretty awesome and awesome new characters 👍😻

Volume 21 of Bleach 3-in-1 edition (61, 62, 63). Ichigo, Rukia, Byakuya and Renji must wrap up their healing and training quickly, so they can rejoin the fight to save the Soul Society.

This book contains the following fights:

- Bazz-B (Q “H” “The Hear”) versus Captain Tôshirô Hitsugaya and Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto
- BG9 (Q “K”) versus Lieutenant Marechiyo Omaeda
- BG9 (Q “K”) versus Captain Soi Fon and Lieutenant Marechiyo Omaeda
- Cang Du (Q “I” “The Iron”) versus Captain Tôshirô Hitsugaya
- Bambietta Basterbine (Q “E” “The Explode”) versus Captain Sajin Komamura and Captain Shinji Hirako (V)
- Mask De Masculine (Q “S” “The Superstar”) versus Lieutenant Shūhei Hisagi, Ikkaku Madarame, and Yumichika Ayasegawa
- Mask De Masculine (Q “S” “The Superstar”) versus Captain Kensei Mugurama (V) and Captain Rôjûrô Ôtoribashi (V)
- Mask De Masculine (Q “S” “The Superstar”) versus Lieutenant Renji Abarai
- Äs Nödt (Q “F” “Fear”) versus Lieutenant Rukia Kuchiki
Note: I’m kind of annoyed that Byakuya gave her a pep
talk in the middle. Would have been nice for her to take
care of something on her own.
- Gwenael (Q “V” “Vanishing Point”) versus Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajshi and Lieutenant Isane Kotetsu
