How do I become the man that God wants me to be? As men, we have this nagging question rolling around in the confines of our mind. Often this question is asked and forgotten before we have time to address it in the busyness of life. But sometimes when we take the time to reflect, we are troubled by what we see. This often happens in moments when we encounter a character deficiency or deep sin that exposes our spiritual need for growth. And on occasion we feel motivated to do something about it, we are paralyzed by not knowing who to trust, how to start, or where to find resources to help us along. This is a must-read book for every man who is serious about his relationship with Jesus Christ. The message that Vince shares is not popular today but necessary. It is a short but compelling read that if applied can radically change the direction of our lives.

One of the quickest reads for me lately. Miller
Makes a very simple Biblically based point. Men of conviction cannot happen without the rules of conviction. The conviction of a man takes place with the application of four basic principles, Accountability, Repentance, Dealing with Desire and Repetitive sin and Commitment. The fact is simple but can’t be understated. Anyone of these influencers can affect your direction and derail your focus. To me, as the author states at the end of the book, if the book clarifies your next step towards conviction it’s done it’s job. For me, a new doorway to clarity on the subject has been opened. Millers book is a success in my eyes for this if for no other reason, my next step is clear to me now! Great read!!
