Seb Zodo’s greatest strength is also his biggest weakness. No matter who, or what he fights … he wins.

What Seb is yet to learn is that notoriety comes at a cost. With every fight, he draws more attention to himself. Attention he won’t be able to walk away from.

THE FIRST MISSION - BOOK TWO OF THE SHADOW ORDER

Seb and Sparks were given a choice: Join the Shadow Order or rot in a prison cell.

As Seb touches down for his first mission, he wonders if he’s made the right call.

THE CRIMSON WAR - BOOK THREE OF THE SHADOW ORDER

The Shadow Order have completed the mission they were sent to Solsans for. But now Seb has seen how the Crimson Countess oppresses the beings living there, he can’t walk away.

Driven by his goal to overthrow the Countess’ regime, Seb has to amass an army capable of taking down the Crimson foot soldiers. An army built on slum dwellers, who have spent their entire lives yielding to their oppressors.

Victory will make Solsans a better place to live. However, if they lose, the Countess will undoubtedly make the people pay.

Failure isn’t an option.

This is a very good book that takes the reader from the time that the "Modern" human brought back to life a human from over 10k years ago.  The new humans have thrived and multiplied in the super modern Megacities of Earth.  This book you will enjoy being pulled into the settings and the lives of the characters.  Never fear, there is also a lot of trouble and fighting that happens before the book ends in a wonderful way.

Reading the series on my Kindle. Michael Robertson takes the reader on a journey of the protagonist Seb through space and alien planets as he faces his own fate as a fighter and champion of the downtroden with his friend Sparks. This is an easy read and enjoyable book. I am looking forward to finishing the series.

I liked the concept the author chose.
The plot is interesting, fun, and thrilling.
The characters are unique, well-thought-out, and compelling.
I want to know more about them.
But Seb has had secrets kept from him and knows nothing about his mother.

The Shadow Order has gotten my attention and I am ready for more.

I always enjoy fast paced action SF and this series is just that. Robertson gives us a look into a possible future where people are still oppressed by oppressors but there are still those heroes who will step forward a fight for the right. Take a wild ride with this series and get away from the crazy world we're living in here.

This review is of the bundling of the first three books in the series. The review for each book in this bundle can be found at each books title.

I give this bundle five stars out of five stars.

As the stories go, you can see the author's writing mature, as you can see the MMC slowly mature.

Real Adventure

This is a great fantasy series probably aimed at teenagers but is also good for us old people too. All the ingredients are here fantasy, a little romance and tons of adventure. Just the kind of stories for a little light reading.

Viva La Revolution

An excellent followup to book one. Seb, Sparks, SA and Gurt have grown into a formidable team. Seb seems to be earning Gurt's respect and possibly SA's affection. We'll see.

Exciting

This storyline takes the reader on a journey through hardships and troubled past to a prophecy that could only be filled by the main character!

Shame the hero does not understand what knuckle dusters are.
