If you’re anything like me, you couldn’t wait for the conclusion to this series to reach your hands. After the devastating cliffhanger at the end of Bad Deeds, I was beyond excited to see where the author was going to lead us.

End Game starts right where Bad Deeds left off. There are two bodies laying on the floor, lots of blood, and Shane is wondering how much more collateral damage is in store because of Adrian and his cartel because of Derek’s ignorance and his pursuit of who knows what.

I can’t even reveal much more than that of the plot without giving the whole thing away. Just know that for much of the book, Shane is working his sexy butt off distancing himself and his family from the cartel and keeping Emily safe from her elusive brother’s activities.

So I still loved Shane. Although this story turned sappy for the most part with the many lists of the reasons why he loves Emily, it was the sweet amongst the sadness that got me through. This last book was a journey through pain and discovery. Shane really got to test his limits and figure out how far he was willing to go to protect the people he loved.

LRJ has plenty of books planned for the new year - a new series and all - and I’m planning to read each and every one of them. Until then…

I’m sad to see this end but I sure did enjoy the ride! Despite some heartache, I was happy with how everything ended.

This series had so much going on in it, with so many players. I kept trying to figure out who was deceiving who and what was truth and what was lies. You definitely have to read this series in order or you’ll be lost. Each book picks up where the previous leaves off.

Once again, Lisa Renee Jones brought us another exciting series full of intrigue and suspense, as well as an incredible love story! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Final installment in the adventures and love of Shane and Emily......or is it?

There was adventure, tears, more drama and hot sex. It was amazing in places, but felt rushed in other places. The ending felt like it wasn't a HEA, but HEA for now. Even the author in her end notes says she may revisit them, so who knows.

Ms. Jones does promise us Seth's story and Jessica with her spicy Latin eye candy.

We're finally back in Denver with Shane Brandon and his Emily!

DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE FIRST 3 BOOKS!!!

Lisa tells us all about the 3rd book again at the beginning of this 4th book. Which is so mega-amazing for us Bookalzheimer-Sufferers! I loved that.

The book starts in the same moment we left them last time. Derek just jumped in front of a bullet for Emily and now we're at the hospital waiting if they'll both survive.

Plus we still have to figure out how to get rid of the whole Martina cartel.

And we have to get Shane's dad away from the top of the company, so that Shane can officially take care of everything. Meaning - get far away from everything criminal and dangerous!

And then there's also Emily's hacker brother Rick and his bad group of criminals ...

So we have LOTS of dangerous and exciting and suspensy and erotic moments to go through until we might see a happily ever after somewhere on the horizon!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SHANE & EMILY IN THIS FINAL BOOK???
WILL EVERYBODY SURVIVE??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT ☺

GREAT FINALE!!!!

I love this series!
It's all so exciting and suspensy and sexy and sad.
And now we're just hoping that everybody survives and gets their happily ever after. Even Derek ☺

But our darlings have a long way to go yet...

Like I already mentioned before - I loved this series, but I also think it could've been done in 2 or 3 books. Sometimes it gets a bit much, with the constant repeats and the same threats and new threats and ... it's a little bit too much. But I still really loved it! And I especially loved that brother Derek is not the horrible guy he was in the previous books! ☺

Lots of excitement and sexiness and hope!
Perfect Romantic Suspense!

I think this series would be an amazing TV Show!!! Gimme Netflix!

I hope we'll see Emily and Shane again one day - maybe for an exciting epilogue novella! ☺

END GAME was an exciting & sexy finale in this great romantic-suspense series... Run to your nearest amazon for your own Shane - this one is MINE!!!

End Game brought a lot of pain to some of the characters, with the aftermath of the incredible cliffhanger in Bad Deeds...

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews

I loved the character growth in End Game, the depth this brought to various relationships, and the tension that was so thick it could be cut with a butcher knife. The suspense was breath-taking, and I had trouble sitting still while reading. The emotional pain the characters felt was tangible, and I had no idea how they would get through the incredibly difficult time they were facing.

End Game took care of many loose ends, but not all. And there might be a story about one of the side characters from Dirty Money in the future. I, for one, cannot wait to read that. Shane was the character who surprised me the most with his growth in this installment, I almost didn't think he had it in him!

I will not say much more, for fear of spoiling End Game for you - and please know that this novel cannot be read as a stand alone. It relies on the story of all the prior books in the series, and I think you'd be quite lost if you started with this one.

End Game is the final book in Emily and Shane's story and it definitely was the most emotional one as well. Jones perfectly weaves both happiness and pain in this final book in the Dirty Money series. I loved these characters and admire Shane and Emily's struggle to break free of their painful pasts and family's criminal ways. I flew through each of these books in less than a day each because I could not put them down. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense with a good bit of steam. Getting to the end of this series makes me a little sad because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters, but I hope to see Shane and Emily in Seth's books and maybe even Jessica's if she gets her own story.

I voluntarily received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

It is hard to believe that End Game is the presently planned last book in the Dirty Money series featuring Shane and Emily. Picking up after the explosive ending in Bad Deeds, End Game follows Emily and Shane as they deal with the aftermath of that fateful day in the restaurant. Shane remains at odds with his father, desperate to save his family business and remove themselves from the connection with the dangerous Martina cartel. Emily finally can see her fashion dreams coming true, but her past continues to haunt her and threatens the happy ending she wants to share with Shane Brandon. Shane's father, his mother, and his brother are all puzzle pieces that need to come together to make everything run smoothly, but sometimes puzzle pieces go missing.

"You are Emily, and I swear to you that one day, if you let me, I'm going to make sure you don't react to everything with the fear you do now."

End Game continues with the high stakes and high emotions readers loved in the previous three novels. Lisa Renee Jones amps up the angst, the drama, and suspense, taking this complex series to another level. It's the kind of series that you can't predict, featuring LRJ's unique storytelling and a plotline that isn't like any other book. I continued to like Emily, she's a strong, fierce, independent woman with a lot more compassion than you would ever expect from someone who has been so wronged in life. Shane is still handsome, headstrong, and too determined to succeed. I really enjoyed that his emotions and his beliefs were put to the test in End Game, it allowed for so much character development for him and made the story that much better. Of course, it wouldn't be an LRJ book without scenes that shock you, there were definitely tears in my eyes while I read and a few times when I wanted to throw my book. There are several plots moving forward at one time in this series and End Game really wraps up all of them, so even though I don't want this to be in the end it looks like it might be. I wanted more from the ending though, which is why I brought my rating down to 4.5. I wanted to see the fashion business kick-off, I wanted to see an epilogue for Shane and Emily, and I wanted a more fierce ending for the control that Shane and Derek's father had held over them for so long.

"Dangerous.
Me.
Unchecked.
Yes, I am."

Dirty Money has been one of my favorite series from Lisa Renee Jones yet and I love all of her books. The setting and the business aspect of it was all very interesting and less guns-blazing suspense than previous releases. The Dirty Money series is very romantic, with Shane and Emily sharing trust and passion with one another. Get to reading this series right away and cross your fingers LRJ decides to give us more!

End Game by Lisa Renee Jones is the Fourth and Final installment in the "Dirty Money" series. This continues the story of Shane Brandon and Emily Stevens. This really needs to be read in order to completely understand and enjoy their story line.
End Game picks up where we left of in the 'Bad Deeds' book finding out how Emma along with Derek. Shane trying to secure the family company yet not to go into the darkness about Emma. Its hard not to say to much with out given so much away. Just know that it was a great book and ending to go along with Emma and Shane's story!
Gosh, I had a love / hate about this book! I have loved the series so much and I wanted to get this book so bad but I hate that it is the last book. Although with this author great writing I just need to find more of her books.

It’s here! It’s here! The final chapter of the ever so suspenseful and sexy Dirty Money series is finally here! END GAME by Lisa Renee Jones gives us a shattering finale that will satisfy fans of this addicting series everywhere! Shane and Emily have been through so much and we were left with one hell of a cliffhanger in the previous book, and END GAME picks right back up where we left off. Our hearts beating out of our chests, our blood running hot with suspense, our souls shattered at the thought of what might happen next. I’ve rooted for Emily and Shane since the very beginning and there is nothing stopping me from finding out what their fate truly is. I was so freaking exciting and apprehensive going into this finale, but once I got back into the game, there was no pulling me out. Lisa Renee Jones is one of the queens of romantic suspense and she spared no punches with END GAME. Passion, tragedy, suspense, romance…this book had everything and I can’t wait to see what fans of the series think about Emily and Shane’s well deserved and hard fought happily ever after.

First Impressions
End Game was the epic finale of the "Dirty Money" series and I had such a fun time with this one here. It was really great to see things come to its final conclusion and fair warning that it does have some moments that are hard to read as it deals with tough issues of shame and grief as the beginning is coming off of a tragedy and that is really hard to see. But the author really tackles the human element so well. It also gives the readers plenty of happy couple page time as we see them resolve and tie loose ends as they are moving forward with their lives and embracing their HEA that they both have worked so hard for.

First Line
I will live to hurt you. I will live to torture you. You will die a slow, painful death for this.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Shane
The Heroine: Emily

Summary
Shane and Emily have barely survived a tragedy with their own lives, and it cost them greatly one that holds dear to them. But as they work through it together as a couple, they learn to fight for what matters for them and make a stand of what is right. There are still some secrets happening with Shane's parents, and the drug cartel, but the conflict is coming to a close for both them, they will have to make prepare for the upcoming danger but also for embracing their happy ever...

What I Loved
Is all the happy couple page time that we get in this book. Majority of the plot machinations of the series get resolved pretty early in this story, so we get to see our couple embracing their future and making such wonderful plans with each other. This is what I love about one couple series, is all the couple page time that we deserve and Lisa Renee Jones definitely delivers in this aspect. There was also plenty of justice done in this story which I found satisfying but we also see our characters deal with real emotions here especially as they learn to deal with their losses. We see such a close intimacy between Shane and Emily, and we really get to see how much they uplift and encourage each other. We such such true partnership in this and I love seeing how well they compliment each other in various aspects.

What I Struggled With
So I wanted so much for this book that I was a bit disappointed that we didn't receive. I really wanted to love what what was delivered, and while I was hooked and loved the happy couple page times, the actual serial plot aspects, there were just so many things left untied for this one. I just was expecting more to happy with the parents and the drug cartel that didn't really happen. And I wanted more justice for the parents who caused so much damage that just didn't happen for them, not in the way I was hoping for and it did feel like there was more happening in their secrets that just fell flat. So the execution of the finale in the serial plot didn't quite do these books justice as I was hoping for.

Narration
Just like in the previous books, the narration was superb in every way and kept me completely hooked and I didn't want to put them down at all.

Overall View
End Game was a fierce finale that brings together hard tough emotion and delivering a swoony happy ending worth all the solid stars! It delivered in what I look for in a romance and I can't wait to read the connecting series to this world.

I received a copy of this through NetGalley for my honest review.

Thank you once again, Ms. Jones, for doing a recap of what has happened. I appreciate it so much when there is a bit of time between installments, and I only wish more authors did the same!

What a journey I have been on with this series. End Games picks right up where the previous book stopped, and offers lots of answers, and intrigue and suspense…and as always, hot sex!! Shane and Emily have been through so much together. So many lies, secrets, deep deception, pain, and finally what I consider a Happy For Now. I would love to have seen more for an epilogue…but perhaps there is more ahead!!!

The conclusion to the Dirty Money series was everything I thought it would be and more. Intriguing, emotional and exciting with twists and turns I didn't see coming. The cliff-hanger Lisa Renee Jones left us with at the end of Bad Deeds infuriated me but, it was worth the wait. A shocking beginning to the end had me turning page after page wanting to know exactly how everything would be resolved, how Shane would bring Brandon Enterprises out of the drug business and distance them from the Dirty Money.
Both Emily and Shane surprised me with the depth of their love and exactly what they would do for it. I was amazed with Shane's compassion and caring for his brother. And, I was touched by the love that shone through the pages of this book. It made me realize just how fragile love can be but, if you for it, believe in the other person, there is nothing that can come between you and your soul-mate. That's what Shane and Emily were, soul-mates.

Shane would do anything to protect Emily. Murder, mayhem, revenge … nothing is off the table. He has everything prioritized. Protect Emily, get rid of the Cartel, save Brandon Enterprises, get his father out of the business and find Emily's brother. He has a lot going on but nothing is as important as Emily and making sure all threats against her are neutralized.

Emily will stand by Shane under almost all circumstances … except his threat of murder. But, she knows that it's his emotions talking. She knows that he will do anything for her but, will he leave Denver for New York? Will he follow his heart to where it really want's to be? She knows he can run Brandon Industries from anywhere so now it's up to her to convince him of what is best for them.

There were so many complicit factions to this story that it is very hard to summarize everything. I will say that Lisa Renee Jones knows how to weave a story. She understands what her readers are looking for and expect. And … she delivers every time. She knows how to incorporate her secondary characters into a story and make them an integral part of the story line. She also knows how to give us an HEA but leaves us wanting more. Knowing that Shane and Emily will probably show up somewhere down the line satisfies our inner curiosity as to what will happen with them and keeps us coming back for more.

And a shattering conclusion it was…

Whew! If I thought the cliffhanger in Bad Deeds was shocking, that has nothing, absolutely nothing, on the opening pages and chapters here. Knocked back and over are a few words to describe the events that unfolded. And anything that is shock by book four of this series is catastrophic…

Redemption, survival, danger. Drugs, money and power. This series, this story, had it all with characters that refused to give up. Shane and Emily, their team, their enemies. They fought each other, and themselves in a swirling mass of never ending suspense, each discovery one to savour…
If this series ended quietly, in complete opposite of what came before it, it’s a testament to what these characters richly deserved. Calm after the storm…

An excellent read and series that carved a permanent place for this author on my must read shelf. ~Diane, 4 stars

As End Game is the fourth and final book in the Dirty Money series, I’m sure you’ll appreciate that it’s imperative that you read the first three books, in order, before beginning this one.

The story builds beautifully over the first three books, finally coming to ahead in the fourth. For obvious reasons, my review won’t go into the plot, that’s either past or yet to come.

We rejoin Shane in his darkest hour and with despair, heartbreak and vengeance fuelling every moment, it’s not long before things come to ahead. Aligning all the pieces in his strategy is keeping him sane.

Lisa Renee Jones has created such vivid and powerful characters that draw you in, bringing them to life and leaving you spellbound.

The sub-characters are just as intriguing and I’d love to know what’s behind Seth’s brooding, no nonsense persona. What’s caused him to be so closed-down?

In all, I thoroughly enjoyed this series and highly recommend it. If you’ve not read anything by Lisa Renee Jones, she’s worth checking out.

End Game by Lisa Renee Jones is the Fourth and Final installment in the "Dirty Money" series. End Game picks up where 'Bad Deeds' left off. Derek has just jumped in front of a bullet meant for Emily and now we're at the hospital waiting if they'll both survive. OMG this is a killer start to End Game…We get to see a different side to Derek, see he actually has a heart and isn’t such a bad guy. Then on top of the drama of the shooting, Shane is trying to figure out how to get rid of the whole Martina cartel. They are causing him tons of stress and heartache and anger at the drama and trouble in his business and personal life. He has a lot of issues caused by them. On top of the cartel, Shane has to deal with his father sticking his nose into things where it doesn’t belong. As the story progresses, things are coming to a boil, an explosion between these two men …who will come out the winner here? Poor Shane, all these stresses on top of Emily… and then if that isn’t enough to deal with, he has Emily’s hacker brother sticking his fingers into the trouble pile..Emily’s brother is a hacker and it looks like he is trouble too.
When will Shane and Emily get happiness for once? Will the trouble continue to follow them or will they finally see a rainbow on the horizon for a change? Will the cartel get what they wanted or will Shane and co. make a stand? These questions and more will be answered in the final installment in the Dirty Money series. I loved the fast pace read. It was great writing by the author. She has engaging characters that make it easy to stay hooked from start to finish. The only thing I will say is that the story leaves a door open for more writing for this couple down the road. Questions are answered but other questions do pop up. There is a spin off series that is starting which I am excited for. Ms. Jones is a fabulous author and I look forward to read her next book.

Whew.

Finally, not a cliffhanger. Also, this book is 100% absolutely not a standalone.

This book broke my heart in places, and there were some parts that were just hard to read as it was NOT how I wanted things to go. But, at the same time, it worked so well.

And, really, that is all I can say. Because, spoilers. And, how in the heck do I review the end of this 4-book series without them and go into any depth about the story? The answer, especially for this one, is I don't. Because, at the end of the 3rd book, there is a life or death kind of cliffhanger, and, well, to tell you what happens in the 4th one tells you the resolution of the cliffhanger in the 3rd one.

So, I am going to say that, by the end, I was satisfied with the story, and I was pleased with how it ended, and mostly pleased with the way it evolved and where the characters were left at the end. There are a couple of things I would have done differently, but at the same time, I get the reasons things happened as they did.

Overall, I recommend both the series and this title as the finish of the series.

So my friends we got to ending of this series, and after the ending to the last one, was wary. Was still somewhat jumpy but also relieved, now I hate to give spoilers so I wont tell you why. I do however recommend that you read it, if you liked the previous book, you have to, have to read it if not it is liked opening a candy bar and licking it but not taking out a bite, that just wont do. Anyhoo, I got my Shane fix, aaaand found out that Seth's book is coming up..Yes, Yes, Yes...can't wait

The finale is HERE! Jones wraps up the four book series of Brandon Enterprises with a bang and shock!

**SPOILERS: BE WARNED**

After Bad Deeds left readers hanging and on shock as to the outcome of Derek and Emily, End Game picks up in the same scene with a heightened sense of emotions. As both Derek and Emily fight to stay alive, Shane fears that his plans to push Brandon Enterprises to the light are falling apart. Admits threats from the cartel and Adrian, he's facing pressure now from a mysterious FBI agent to expose Adrian's secrets. His father out of the country, Shane has to handle the weight on his own shoulders; especially as his brother perishes with his last acts to save Emily and beg Shane to save the company.

I honestly was devastated seeing Derek die. I wanted a redemption arc for him so BADLY! There's another story there sitting behind him and Theresa. But Derek's funeral and the Brandon's family's responsibilities to it, are a turning point for Shane and Emily. Emotions high and pressure higher, these two have never been more confident in one another. Together they face the world in order to cuts ties to the cancer that was infesting Brandon Enterprises and the past Emily ran from.

Picking right up where Bad Deeds ended, End Game is the thrilling finale to the Dirty Money series. Ms. Jones holds nothing back in the conclusion to what has been an intriguing, suspenseful, and emotional ride. The Brandon family, and their empire, will never be the same.

Still reeling from the nightmare he walked into at the Martina family restaurant, Shane continues to battle not only the cartel, but his own father. He pulls out all the stops to make sure the family business doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. Even in the midst of all the worry over his family, Emily and her safety remain a top priority.

Shane and Emily have gone through so much, and dealt with so much, since their first unconventional meeting, that it was really great to see them working as a unit in this book. I enjoyed how far they’ve come as a couple, the respect and love they have for each other. Even when they disagreed they never let things get out of hand, and kept the lines of communication open.

End Game gives us all the answers we’ve been waiting for and ties up all the loose ends to bring this series to a satisfying conclusion. Although I don’t think this will be the last we see of Shane and Emily, and for sure Seth.

Reaching the finale of a 4-book story holds a great importance. Especially when it's written with the sophisticated voice of LRJones. The thrilling cliffhanger in the previous book left my heart barely beating. I couldn't read this final book fast enough.

Shane is facing an impossible hit to his heart with a double sacrifice that's taking him to the edge of a darkness with no return. The writing has a powerful sense of urgency and the dialogues crackle with intensity. It's also heavy with grief as Shane and his family struggle with terrible loss. He and Emily share scenes of emotional impact. It was both hard and satisfying to read. Not to mention that their love is stronger than ever and deeply moving.

Meanwhile, the end game that will sever them from dangerous liaisons is in motion, and the tension among all parties involved was extreme. The ultimate chess game. Hard business deals, illegal operations, espionage, dark family matters... all mingle in never-stopping circles. The balance between suspenseful business and personal relationships is masterfully planned. I love this kind of sharp, slow-burn intensity as much as the soulful romance. Shane and Emily find their HEA through a storm of sacrifice and complex decisions, and it was immensely gratifying to reach it with them. Great read as usual, and not to be missed.

this book ... needed to be more. This book should have been at the top of the list due to how much is in it. This book either shouldn't exist of it should have existed better. It felt very repetitive from all the other books that you could skim it!!! and seriously this author is one of my favorites and it made me so sad to experience that with her writing.
the pros:
Shane develops as a character
Seth gets a book (its poison kisses..and I loved it)
some loose ends get tied up.

Cons:
does anyone even care about "Reagan" ... seriously do any of the readers?
overly cheesy/repetitive.. I don't think one cup of coffee should be romanticized as much as this series did it...
Do Shane and Emily even have a relationship?? it just feels like emotional support aka sex when life is complicated.
its not a very believable outcome... ill allow the HEA action but the rest just felt .. toooo easy??!

This book starts off with a bang! At the end of Bad Deeds, lives are on the line and we are waiting with bated breath to learn who will survive.

Another fast paced and high intensity story. An incredibly complex web of deception woven throughout the entire series has finally come together in this final installment. With my anxiety through the roof, I tore through page after page, uncertain as to how the story would play out. Jones makes it clear that nothing is promised, and while that created a greater sense of unease, it also heightened my excitement.

End Game far exceeded my expectations and I'm thrilled that we won't be leaving this world anytime soon.

With the crazy cliffhanger at the end of Bad Deeds, I was dying to read End Game to find out just what was going to happen between Emily and Shane. And End Game is the perfect conclusion to this brilliant series! No one writes romantic suspense like Lisa Renee Jones!

There are too many potential spoilers for me to really write a detailed review, but trust me when I say the End Game finishes the series with a bang and you’ll certainly be pleased with the result! ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

What a whirlwind of tying up loose ends...

Coming off the high of the cliffhanger from Bad Deeds, I was prepared for anything, and Jones did not disappoint.

I love Emily's character because she supports Shane like many women wouldn't in the situation. She is strong, resilient, and doesn't take crap from anyone. Her support goes so deep (even emotionally), that Shane can't help but fall even deeply for her.

Dealing with loss is difficult for anyone, but conflicting feelings make it worse for Shane, especially when there are ambitions for vengeance stirring underneath the surface.

As always, I was wrapped up in the story and mystery written for these characters. Jones has a tendency to keep readers on the edge of their seats at every turn of the page. Between dangerous hackers, drug cartels, and family betrayals, the suspense is never-ending. And that ending 😍😍

This final book in the series did a nice job of bringing all of the problems to a conclusion. It seemed like, however, there was a little more to the story that hinted at trouble near the end, when Emily had the uneasy feeling when she was shopping. That part seemed unresolved.
