William Bitner sold over thirty short stories during the late 70's- early 80's to the small press magazines of the day as well as newsstand magazines such as Fantastic and Mike Shayne's Mystery Magazine before demands of job and family (and the loss of many of these markets) curtailed his writing career. In 2002 after his twenty five year relationship with his ex-wife ended in divorce, against the advice of all his sane friends and relations he began training to be a professional wrestler and since then as the masked Death Falcon Zero has dragged his increasingly aching bones through over five hundred professsional wrestling matches and attained twenty championship belts in both the United States and Mexico. He also resumed writing, so far resulting in two short story collections, M Is For Monster and T Is For Thing and the graphic narrative Death Falcon Zero Vs. The Zombie Sluglords (with Daniel Boyd). He has stories scheduled to appear in the first two issues of the graphic series Troma's Chilers. Mr. Bitner currently resides in Charleston, WV.
