I am not so much of a love story reader so I don't read them until I am forced to or it is a dare. But as this book is written by my known friend so I had to check her work and surprisingly I was enjoying this novel. Infact it helped me get to know a girl's attitude very well. Initially I thought it is her own story but then it started to take turns and ups and downs in a different way yet very much amusing and that actually got me hooked and guess what now I think I will be reading a lot more love story.
So when are you writing the next one? ;)

I met Suma in Goodreads a few weeks back. She had sent me a link to read her book. I was initially apprehensive - nowadays I generally don't entertain requests from new authors unless their book is well received. But I was in for a pleasant surprise. Despite being a debut author, her language oozes maturity and skill. Her dialogues are crisp and tight. Her narration would put bestselling Indian authors to shame - it is that good. Even her characterization is very good, the way she dips the readers in to the past every now and then, thus coloring the characters bit by bit is worth appreciating. I liked the story too - a very sweet love story with good twists and turns. The author has talent to come up with an even better book - a deal with a big traditional publisher - if she keeps it up and persists with her efforts. All the best!

I read a review about this book and picked up this book on Wattpad.

The flow was so good. I felt as though, the author wrote the entire book in one go. Within few minutes I was transported into the story.

The author kept her focus on the love between Aarav and Shruti, without getting distracted. I usually take a lot of time to finish a book, between my work, kids and other commitments. But this book was an exception; I devoured it in one single day!

It is really a great effort by a young author. Best wishes to her.

The author of this book linked me her book to review it. I was very excited to dive into the book, as this was my first author-given book to review :).
The writing style of this story was simple and easy to understand which is a plus point. The only thing that kept me going on was the author's use of the English language. Another aspect of the book which I liked was the love between the two protagonists, it was a cute and fluffy romance. Wouldn't Aarav be the perfect boyfriend? :P... There were a lot of cute moments in the story which I enjoyed reading. In addition, I liked the main idea of the story which was how to deal with loss, and realizing that there would be someone out there who'd understand you and sympathize with what you are going through, also realizing the love of your life might be there in front of you this whole time; this generation of readers can relate to this plot.
I personally love reading love stories but this book was not my cup of tea. In my opinion, the plot had no depth to it, even though it was an interesting idea. There were parts in the story where I would get excited and hoping it was not going to be like what I have predicted but it wasn't as this whole story was predictable from beginning to end. The characters had no dimension at all, they were all 2-d and were not dynamic at all; they were all monotonous and it felt that their emotions were robotic.
I wish there was some masala to the story, and some dimension to the characters especially the two protagonists of the story. The strength of this story was the use of English and its simplicity which I loved.
All in all, this book was a simple read which you can finish in one sitting. If you love a simple story line with cute moments, then this book is for you .

There is just something about Never Again... that I think deserves a review, and I don’t normally give reviews. I really like this book, there is just something about her writing that captivates me.
I really enjoyed it. I am not sure if it was a short read, or if I just could not stop reading to get to the end? But, I finished it in one evening!! It felt so nice to read a simple love story. There's no backstabbing, cheating boyfriends and melodramatic moments! Its about great friendship and understanding.. I loved Niddhi.. Such a great friend!!
Overall, I would recommend this book!! Its simple, sweet and has a great story line. Read it, enjoy it, I did!

Thanks Suma for sharing this beautiful work of yours.

It is a cute love story. Appreciable effort into story development. Great flow of story. I liked the way the state of mind of the girl is explained, the dilemma when it comes to choosing love of her life especially after suffering from such a trauma. I went on reading it expecting some unusual twists and turns though I didn't get any. A simple love story of this generation. A light enjoyable read throughout.

A very good read!!!

The novel is short, simple and sweet :)
It's easily understandable and the choice of words was good.

The story begins with a reunion of a group of classmates in their college and it goes on from there..

Everything little thing in the college reminds her of something and the author includes a really short flashback here and there.. Glad she didn't elaborate on them and just kept it simple.

The story was so realistic that at least one scene in the novel can be related to our life.. It's a story about a simple girl living a normal life..

One thing I liked about the novel is that it didn't contain any sexual content in it..
It's hard to find such a novel nowadays.

Rishta wahi, soch nayi :D

As title says , it's a typical Indian story. However, you would like the book, in case you like India love stories (novels). However, there is no harm in buying this book.. quick to read.

Also don't expect some 'Gyan' out of reading , and so easy to digest contents..

So choice is yours...

I can say 3.5 stars.
