Reviews

[Christopher Taylor]

This is Lowell Thomas' overview of great men in the past, starting in the very distant past to around 1960s. He chose figures that he believed showed great historical importance and charisma, men of brilliance and strength and striking personal ability, even if that ability was used poorly.

Each segment (short biography) is a few pages long, which made this a great bathroom book which I read very slowly over time as it was in my mother's bathroom when I visited.

How accurate or historically valid all of these sketches are I cannot tell, but they seemed well founded and the writing is fine.
