The book was written more as a sensationalist dodger to hoodwink the cretinous. It was a slapped together pap of out of context conspiracy theories. His extractions from his "body of evidence" are tainted or grossly misinterpreted. The use of long debunked theories is insulting. Like many political writers, this man equates being conservative with being stupid. He would do well to take note that men like William F. Buckley, Christopher Hitchens, and Sam Donaldson set the tone and the bar for conservative writers. The National Review was not even in the same genre as Breitbart News. This poorly written screed lends more succor to the political left than it does any wisdom to the right. There most certainly is a Deep State in the United States but it is not anywhere near what this writer thinks it is. This book is a consummate waste of time.
