This will grab you from the start and you will not want to put it down, it was also very emotional for me – if you’re like me grab your tissues. What happens when you love someone and they don’t return that love – Quinn finally comes to the conclusion that Raider doesn’t love her and makes plans to leave once she has the money for her to live on, while she finds a place and another job. Taking on a second job at the strip club is how she thinks she can make fast money, and since she has no skills other than as a waitress she goes for it. Let’s just say there were a couple of not so happy brothers once they found out what she was doing. Hoping, for more in this series, I need to find out what happens with Kelli.

I had learned years ago it was better for everyone, especially myself, not to let this particular man see my reaction to him. My heart, however, didn’t know how to not beat at triple its normal rate whenever he was near.
Raider wasn’t where I had left him. I wasn’t surprised to find him at the counter, flirting with a group of sheep who had come in for dinner before heading over to the bar for the night.
It was either let him go, or spend the rest of my life eating my heart out for a guy who fucked everything with a vagina.
The sooner I could save up enough money, the sooner I could get out of this town and away from Raider Fucking Hannigan.
“Quinn,” Kelli called after me when I got out of the car. She jumped out and slammed her door. Catching up to me before I could get more than a few cars away, she grasped my arm. “Why?”
“Why do you love him?”
I was done being the pathetic chick who wore her heart on her sleeve for a guy who barely even knew she was alive.
I had been at the clubhouse since after lunch, when I had brought one of the sheep back to play with.
Whatever it was, I was tired of the sheep who followed me around like lost puppies looking for attention. I had given them plenty of reason to do just that over the years, having fucked them all regularly. But lately, I had found them more annoying than entertaining.
Whitney was fun in bed. She liked it dirty, and I had given it to her plenty of times. Her blonde hair was hanging around her shoulders
More than once, I had been a dick to her, and I didn’t like that I had made her cry. Regardless, it was the only way I could keep my distance.
Quinn was too sweet and innocent for the jaded life of an old lady. She needed a man who would be faithful to her, who would worship the ground she walked on. That guy wasn’t me.
“If you’re so desperate to lose that little cherry, Quinn, I’m all too happy to take it off your hands.”
If Raider had stopped right then, if he had given me a moment to find my bearings and let me deal with the pain, I might have been fine. Instead, he fell forward, moving his hands to either side of my head, and he buried his face in my neck. Tears filled my eyes as he pulled out, the pain only intensifying.
He thrust back into me, harder this time, and I couldn’t hold back the cry of pain as his thickness stretched me even more.
His next thrust was so rough I didn’t think I could handle it.
Raider either didn’t seem to notice or didn’t care because he was so caught up in how good he was feeling.
A few tears spilled over my lashes, but I didn’t bother to wipe them away. This was nothing like I had imagined.
Every time I had pictured my first time with Raider, he had been sweet and gentle, not this wild beast who only seemed to care about his own pleasure.
He didn’t even kiss me. My tears fell faster and a feeling of shame engulfed me like a tidal wave.
The blanket she was lying on top of had a large spot, and there was blood mixed with my come on her thighs.
I couldn’t blame Raider, not really. He was just doing what he did best—getting off with whatever pussy was handy.
Heather, Whitney, and even Amanda had rubbed it in my face that he fucked them on a regular basis, practically from the millisecond they knew I had a thing for Raider.
“Fuck you, Heather,” I snapped as I turned to walk away. “Nah, that’s okay. Raider will do that later.”
Tonight had shown me something I should have seen years ago. That even though I cared about Raider, he would never really return my feelings. I had fucked up. What if I caught something from that manwhore biker? What if I was pregnant?
Who knew how many of the club mommas had produced little Raiders? I was just one of many, as I was sure the possible baby that was growing inside of me right then would be.
“All the pussy in the world, and you had to go and put your dick in hers,” Colt growled low and ominously. “You couldn’t just leave her alone, could you?”
“For years, you tried to drive that truth home to me, and I finally saw the light. You should be relieved.”

A return to the drama, And I was here for it. We stopped having random chapters in a POV for people not in this universe which was something I appreciated. It is a series you wanna keep going with because every books ends on a dramatic note and you know there will be more ups and downs to come with both the main focus couple and all those on the sides as well.

Dont read it save your time and your money! I am sorry to say that, because this author has some good books, and some good and decent heroes, not this one though. He’s a MC member and the ultimate manwhore, screwing all that moves and breaths. Except the heroine. Oh, even her three sisters. She’s 25 and has been in love with him forever, we don’t know why, and er bff who’s much smarter than her asks her what is that she sees in him to love, and if maybe this is only infatuation without much reality and I would have hugged the girl for saying what is the honest truth. Come on, writers, it’s impossible to be in love with a man who treats you like dirt and that you see screwing the sisters that hate you and bully you every single day at 25. This is not a high school romance with teenagers at their first crush. The woman is an adult and has nursed her mother for years, she’s not grown up in a convent and never saw a man. She has to know what decency is, what makes a man worth of being loved and the hero is never one of these. Writers, you have to understand that not everyone that reads your books is 13 and still believes that the first male you see while your hormones are crazy will be the man you’ll love forever, no matter if he’s a bug or a slime nematode. We are adult readers, and we want believable stories, not something that make us cringe, like this heroine here. A virgin at 25 and in love with the hero since she was a child. He didn’t fugg her because she’s his brother bff and he doesn’t think he can’t be faithful to anyone, so in the end he only fugg her because she was going to have sex with another man. Hurting her, and without condom too.
So when the heroine decides she will leave I was cheering her up because she decided she wanted to leave that awful man behind and start a new life and maybe find a good guy. Never too late, I thought. Sadly the hero stops her and guess what, she’s pregnant so no matter what, she’s stuck with the idiot forever.
Oh, he decides that after all he can be faithful to her and you know why? Because he saw a sexy stripper with a mask on and he wanted to screw her but you know, it was no other than the heroine in disguise so hey! He doesn’t get hard for every woman as he was afraid he would. This is stupid and disgusting and offensive to every woman around. The hero has enjoyed himself and the heroine has been celibate for a decade and now he’s all happy to be faithful to her. Jesus, no self respect here. And he screwed multiple times her nasty sisters too. I think this is the book that shouldn’t have been written.

We start off with a prologue and I was hooked. I wanted to know what happened that got us there, but we go back in time. So as I continue to read I can't wait to get back to the scene from the prologue and then pick up the story from there. Well that never happens!!! We get to that point but it was like the scene never occurred. So what was the point of the prologue?!?!?!
And then we have Raider who was completely thoughtless and NEVER apologized.
And Tanner, seriously?????
Then those sisters. If everyone loved Quinn so much then why did they let them hang around??? And how can you love a guy if he sleeps with your sisters all the time????

I don't think Terri Anne has written a book that I haven't fallen in love with. From her rocker series to her bikers I love them all. Hope you all enjoy this book as much as I have. Thanks.

Existem algumas coisas que eu não aceito nem nesses livros de MC.
E o jeito que o Raider tratou a mocinha na primeira vez dela é uma delas.
Isso (1) estragou o resto do livro pra mim e (2) eles foram o pior casal dessa série.
E pena porque tinham outras coisas a serem trabalhadas nesse livro, principalmente com a mocinha. :(

Every series has one character that you obsess over and look for any mention of them. In this one, for me, it was Raider from book 1. When his book was announced, I jumped to pre order it and made sure people knew that at 12.03am I wouldn't exist for a while. I'd built Raiders book up in my mind and honestly the desperation to read it was nuts.....and bloody hell did TAB deliver.
I had guessed what the result of Quinn and Raiders night together in the blurb would be, but anything else that I had going around in my mind was wrong. REALLY wrong.
I LOVED that Raider didn't just get forgiven after all of the years of hell he'd put Quinn through. His remorse, his feelings, his torture was all there. Quinn wasn't the quiet door mat that I'd worried she'd be either. I'll admit, that part I was dreading, but reading it I was squealing because he had to work HARD for her forgiveness and her spunky little sassy self was just amazing.
And here's a spoiler and I'm sorry but I literally yelled this at my best friend who still had hours to wait before she could read it - their first time, the arrogant guy who had more experience than most - SUCKED! He legit was awful! How poetic can you get? He's thrown his life in her face for years, he prided himself on his lasting powers and he freaking sucked. Omg I loved it.
I didn't expect any of the ending or the twists and turns. When the pivotal moment for them, the one that makes every feeling fall into place, at the end happened I dropped my kindle. I've reread it 5x and that moment still shocks me. I never ever saw that coming and omg it's heartbreaking! And Matt's little secret...and Kelli's! Actually I'd guessed Kelli's and I have a feeling that what happened at the end will change what she's doing but don't quote me on that.
As I say, I had built this up in my mind and was counting down the days for its release. Heck I even had daily alerts reminding me. TAB has written her best book yet. I've loved them all, but this one was outstanding. I want to give it more than 5*'s but GR won't let me. If they read the book they'd understand and increase the stars available rating. The plot is tight, the story out of this world amazing, it's realistic and my Raider got the story he deserved. If you haven't read the series yet you have to. HAVE to.
In the history of awesome books, this one would join the literary greats. I honestly can't put into word how much I loved it.

What's less then zero? This book. Screwing three of her nasty sisters repeatedly? And dipping into every other hole with tits? Unprotected sex? Ho hum ending? Walking, talking dick as the male lead? "Friends" who keep people around to hurt you? All checked that makes for a not good book for me. Not my favorite by a long shot.

I feel like I'm cheating on Hawk & Gracie when I say this but... I think this is my new FAVORITE book of the series! It had everything I love in a book: angst, danger, sexual tension, surprises, a bad boy Hero & a strong heroine. Couldn't. Put. It. Down.
Raider... You reformed manwh*re, you. You made me flip my kindle the bird & roll my eyes multiple times BUT... you also made me grin ear-to-ear & swoon like a giggly school girl. I hate that it took you so long to see the special gift that was right in front of you for years but I was thrilled to bits when you pulled your head out of your a** & took notice!
Quinn... You were even stronger than I'd imagined you'd be & I LOVED it! You rocked more than just socks at your new second job (you go, girl!), you managed to stay alive & sane, even after growing up with three troll b*tches (you're amazing!) & you have such a kind soul. Yes, being an old lady might be scary at times but your guys' future looks so bright!
I only wish it was longer & had a couple more sex scenes in it! Oh, & I REALLY wish that something more would've happened with Quinn's nasty-a** sisters. They should've been kicked out of the club or met their demise in the explosive "incident" at the end of the book! Hate that Quinn will still have to see those hussies on an almost daily basis!!

hated the abrupt ending but it made me think of the sopranos. obviously more is to come with the series and the plot thickens with roxy and Matt, the Italians and of course kelli.

yes well, there was a lot not to like but overall i still enjoyed it. it did fit in well with the rest of the series and i could have really liked Raider and Quinn except i really hated that first sex scene and it threw the whole book off .. such a pity because Raider was one of my favourite characters coming into this book - also there were some time line issues that didn't hold true, so ... sadly, it was enough to bring my rating down
15.10.18 fell back into this one as I was looking for something to listen to in the car and then of course started and couldn't stop and flipped right through books 1-5. super fast reads that I enjoy though these guys are really full of themselves, but then that is what is expected in these type of books .. also, I must say this is my least favourite of the series

What a fantastic story!!!! I loved Raider and Quinn....theyre story is probably my favorite so far in the series!!!! I love Raider and how tough he is till it comes to his realization about Quinn then we get to see his softer side!!! Quinn is tough and will do what she needs to do to make her life better and happier!!!! I love her strength!!!

I am writing these last 5 reviews of this series all together because i went ahead buying book 3-7, i am not sad that i did buy them all but i am truly shocked how they did change, the writing change, language, it all changed it is like they were written by a totally different author, shocked is how i felt??! (best way i can describe it is how i felt when Faith Hill's music changed, if you have ever listened to her beginning albums, she was so great, but then hollywood came in and changed her style, her hair, her voice ... not that i don't appreciate her new style but she has lost a lot of herself. same with Carrie Underwood, the girl next door, she is gone ... i wish artists, authors, they all would remember where they came from, keep it ... i mean change is normal ...but don't lose who u r. a lot fo folks loved that person, u know??!) ... i enjoyed book 1 &2 so much ... for a person who has read them all now i can say what the heck ...that was a 180 turn (twist, whatever u wanna call it??!) not to the point i would quit reading the series ...but the lady who did write book 1 & 2 ... totally changed in book 3 through 7??! language changed, harsher ways throughout ... romance and all. now don't get me wrong ...but for a person who read all sorts of romance and MC romances ...it was wild to see ... i wonder who did tell the author or was it her editor or what who recommended a change?? i was so happy with the way it was ... it was fun to see an author taking a more tamer way ... but i guess others prefer it .... my favorite biker is James (Spider) but that is always how it works ... one part is how these future books jump around ... from story to story ... even though u see the name at the top of the chapter ... hope your brain and jump as fast as the author does??! follow along??! I appreciate how the ladies of the MC bikers do group together a lot ... ladies need to stick together more.

Atonement is my fav book in the series. I was into it from the first page and finished in one go. It has practically everything a good story needs. I loved both Raider and Quinn. Though, a couple of times I wanted to kick his stubborn ass for trying to fight his feelings for so long. But when he finally opened himself to his emotions it was beautiful and you can't help but love him. And I'm glad, that Quinn despite being 'a good girl', as more then one person pegged her, is not a pushover and have a strong spine. I loved that Quinn didn't let Raider in easily, when he pulled his head out of his ass. She made him sweat for it.
The only thing I'm grumpy about is Quinn sisters. I would so loved if someone put them in theirs place. Or punched them, or something. They got too easily after tormenting Quinn for so long.
I so can't wait for next book! First, because Angels Halo has another fight on their hands. Something really heartbreaking happened, that hurt all off the club. I still can't believe Terri did that! I so didn't saw that coming. I so, hope AH will strike back and soon, to show what happens when you touch theirs family. Second, there is two potential couples for next book. I'm not sure which I want first. Both has lots to offer. But the funny thing, both couples are in a way related to the same AH enemy. How that will go down, I can't wait to find out!

I think this is the story we have all been looking forward to. While I loved reading it I was kind of disappointed that it ended rather abruptly which shouldn't be shocking because Terri has always left this series more open ended at the end of the book.
I felt bad for Quinn because she is finally trying to move on in her life when Raider ropes her in again. And if I was her I'd be rather pissed at what all he did to her and might have made a few demands regarding her sisters before I started anything with him.
Overal, I wasn't disappointed with Quinn and Raiders story and was rather shocked with Kelli's upcoming role. I'm excited to see where this all leads!

I really don't know whether I liked this book or not. When I finished this book I was just confused.
I really wanted to love Raider but for some reason I just couldn't and Quinn's emotions changed so much it was like being on a rollercoaster. I also just didn't get her relationship with Colt I felt like they should have been the real couple.
I am still happy I read it because it introduced new characters which I am sure will make an impact in the future books.

Better than the previous ......but, there is a But
really for god only know how many years R never ever glanced at Q and in one Chapter these two are expecting a child, R admits that has always loved Q ,Q not so much push back R and all ....but all the “Luna” thing was so interesting .

I enjoyed this book, however Quinn kinda annoyed me with her thought process and Kelly I just wanted to throat punch.

Man...what happened to my sweet and sexy series? I loved the first three, I really did. The last one, didn't love the h at all.
The first three books were great, the story flowed, the author did a great job entwining future couples into the story without detracting from the story itself. It was seamless. This was a cluster. There was barely any interaction between the characters and the schizo plotline didn't help. Everything was so implausible and the characters had no consistency.
Don't even get me started on Colt and Kelli as a probable future couple. Oh God no please. Please set Colt up with someone else! Kelli, Quinn's roommate, actually thinks about having a threesome with Colt and Quinn (Colt is Quinn's best friend, more on that later). Ew! No, just no and did I say Ew? Not what this author has served up before in this series and it totally took me out of the story. I wasn't loving Kelli already and that just put the nail in her coffin.
Matt and Rory intrigue me but I really don't know if I can pay 4 bucks for a story about Colt and Kelli. I'm torn because I was loving this series.

All I can say is EWWWWWW! Why in Gods name would Quinn want anything to do with Raider? It's bad enough that he is a manwhore but he knows that Quinn has had feelings for him for a long time, and yet he throws it in her face constantly. The biggest kicker though is that he sleeps not with just one but all THREE of her sisters. At least he never said it to her face but we got his POV of how he always pictured her face as he was screwing someone else.
For me this book was a big fat NO. I would never see past the thought of him with her sisters.

Terri Anne has done it again!! What an awesome book. This is Raider and Quinn's story and what a story it was! It was such an emotional roller coaster. Make sure you have your tissues close by for this one! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Angel's Halo Atonement was another phenomenal addition to this series. From the very start of this book I could not put it down. In fact when I started this book I had only intended to read a part of it, and yet a little over two hours later I had finished the book. This book just took over me and I loved being back in this world so much. Terri Anne Browning continues to be one of my favorite authors and she knows how to rock the hell out of a series, which made reading this book so darn good.
Atonement is the fifth book in this series and follows the love story of Quinn and Raider, two seemingly opposite characters, who just have this fire between them that can't be fought. What I loved about this book was that it not only gave me their story, but it seamlessly wove together the stories and the family that make this MC club and series what it is. This book has me even more excited to see what the next books in this series will bring, and I can't wait to get my hands on them as soon as humanly possible.
These books should definitely be read in order to get the full affect of all of these characters and to really understand the storyline itself. This was a perfect follow up to the last book in the series, and even though it had been a bit of time since I read the fourth book of this series, I found it so easy to sink right back into this world. Terri Anne Browning makes it so easy to just jump right into everything she creates, and what she gives you within the pages of this book will consume you, will have you blushing something fierce, and will have you feeling it all with these characters as you read this story.
I loved every bit of this book. I loved how it owned me. I loved how I could not put it down. I loved that it packed the best amount of steam and connection, with story and unforgettable twist and turns, all while having some seriously dynamic characters I loved. This book was everything I needed to read right now, and I can't say enough how much I enjoyed it.
If you are a fan of this series, then you will love this book. You will love getting to see a leopard change its spots, you will love getting it all with Raider and Quinn, and you will love getting to see where these characters end up as the story unfolds. Trust me when I say that this book will take ahold of you with all that it has and you will love what you get with all of these characters along the way.
