I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this - the story was interesting, it was fast paced, and the sexy times were well placed. There was even some mystery and intrigue. It was surprisingly sweet and though I feel like some details were left underdeveloped, I was satisfied with the story as a whole. Initially, I thought I’d have issues with the quality of the narrator’s voice but she did an excellent job of depicting each individual character. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

Mundo by Becca Fanning is book two in her MC Bear Mates series. In this book we are reunited with several characters of the Nomads motorcycle club but the story focuses on Mundo. Mundo is currently serving some jail time for roughing up a cartel member that he ran into at a bar but it’s just another day before he’ll have his sweet freedom again but he’ll also be going on the prowl to find his mate, Christie. He crossed paths with Christie while in jail when he had to go see the dentist for a tooth that was damaged, when they met they both felt the mate call but due to their situation and circumstances nothing could be done about it. Once Mundo gets out he gets the information he needs to track her down so that he can claim her. It’s been two weeks since they crossed paths while he was in jail but the mating bond has been hitting Christie hard so when they finally are able to get together things are intense between them.
I really enjoyed Mundo by Becca Fanning because in this story it’s really focused on Mundo and Christie. Christie is a widow and more, she’s been through a lot in her life but she’s proud of what she does helping people pro bono at the jails with her dentistry work. But she doesn’t expect to find herself feeling the things that she feels toward Mundo because it is all things that she doesn’t understand and take all control away from her. Unwittingly she becomes the target of a gang that decides that they are going to pull a stunt and abduct her on the MCs territory which causes more than a few problems. She’s not keen on how things are done with club but Mundo hopes that with time she’ll come to adjust and understand that this is just how things are for them.
For me this story is really well written. It has a good pace that keeps the reader engaged and wanting to know what happens next. Compared to the first book of where danger is known, seen and basically stalking the main characters at every turn this book focuses more on Mundo and Christie with no known danger at hand and so when it comes it pops up out of nowhere and really surprises you which I like. There are more than just a couple surprises as well but that just adds to the story keeping you engaged and making it even more enjoyable.
The story is left open ended so that lets you know that there will be more to come and there are changes coming for the characters that we meet in this story and the ones that we are already familiar with – Mars, Annette, Major and Kiko. As much as they try to keep their heads down under the new Pres, Mars, it seems that trouble is just bound to find them.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for another book in this series. It’s steamy, it’s sexy and it holds your attention. The author has done a really good job crafting this story line and these characters. I can’t wait to read more about them in the future. Two thumbs up.

In the first book, the author establishes that a mating mark appears when mates first touch and the coloring of it determines how strong of a bond they have. They also have like 72 hrs before the mark disappears.
Well, none of that was in this book at all. No mating mark was discussed in this book. The only thing they talked about was they had a strong mate bond and it would give the human extra abilities over time (this was also not established in the first book). In the first book it was established that they would only get ability if they made a blood sacrifice for their mate.
All this led me to frequently asking WTH is going on because it's not the same as to what was established in the first book. I will read the next one to see how the author portrays the mating.

Love Mundo and Christie's story !! Sweet at times, scary at others, the twist at the end made Christie realky see that it wasn't all bad in the MC life. Great second book in the series, just wish it were a bit longer and had finished up their story, hoping ng it will finish in book 3. 4⭐'s . I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

This is a phenomenal bear shifter romance, with very lovable characters. I liked the main couple and all the other characters, too. This is by far one of the most entertaining shifter books, Becca Fanning has written a unique paranormal shifter romance storyline that is amazing, exciting and enthralling read. I love bear shifter books that the shifter transforms into a large size grizzly bear. I am enjoying this, I like to reading paranormal stories, I typically love to find several passionate plots in paranormal shifter romance. This story is well written with a surprising depth and it leaves you wanting to read more about the various members of this clan. Well done! I like the way Becca Fanning writes the story about Mundo and Christie. The story is full of romantic gestures and I love the bear shifter clan in this story even thought they are a motorcycle gang. All of the characters seems like they are a true family or extended family. We are shown the ups and downs of taking a mate and how going outside the normal and finding a mate for shifters can have both positive and negative impacts.
I became so engrossed with Mundo and Christie's story from the first paragraph to the last word. Such action, sexy adventure, good over evil person and of course the love with our Hero and Heroine and just when you think that the story will end. But you the reader hate that's the end is near you are given further access to be in the characters lives for little while longer, you aren't satisfied but resigned that all awesome things must end. I enjoyed this story a lot. I'm also hoping that there will be other stories to go along with the other characters from this story. I really enjoy seeing other known characters and seeing how they've evolved. To anyone who enjoys romance and bear shifters, this is a great, fantastic storyline.

I DIDN'T WANT THIS STORY TO END. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I received this ARC for my honest opinion in the form of a review as I love communicating with other readers. I highly recommend this book.

This is book two of Becca Fanning's Bear shifter MC romance and this series is definitely my favorite of all I read so far. Book one was great and this one is just as good. I really hope she keeps this series going, after all there are several more MC members that need to meet their mate. Jimmy nicknamed Mundo is always getting in deep be it with other gangs or the cops, which lands him in jail. He's eager to get out everytime but this time even more so, as he's met his mate. Christie doesn't believe in love. The one thing that keeps her focused is her job, she's a dentist and works for the County Corrections department i'e jail - she travels around from jail to jail fixing the inmate's teeth. Then she meets Mundo and she doesn't understand why she is feeling the way she is. Then Mundo gets out - If you want to know anymore you will have to read the book as I hate when reviewers give away too much of a story and spoil it for other readers.

The rules around mating in book one are broken in this book, I found that a bit annoying, but if you ignore that then it's an enjoyable book.
The chemistry between Mundo and Christine is strong and hot, their 'bedroom escapades' were creative and entertaining. I just wish it had been longer, I was very disappointed when it ended.
The world this story is based in is interesting, having shifters both known about and hidden is different to what is normally done, and the mating concept is also done in a slightly different way.
The narration is well done, great character voices and the delivery is a good match for the story.

Mundo is finally being released from jail, as far as he is concerned, for the last time. He has incentive. He has found his mate. Now he needs to claim her. Christie had no idea what was happening to her until Mundo shows up at her apartment. She accepts Mundo's explanation for her body's reaction and finds herself enjoying his presence. She is a strong woman, willing to accept the unknown, and able to keep her head during her kidnapping. There are down sides to her new life, but with Mundo, she will face them. Mundo is such a sweet man, wanting to please and protect his woman. I enjoyed this story.

I really enjoyed this story but I wished it was longer. I am loving the characters in this story and I want more. This is Mundo and Christie's story . Mundo is a sexy bear shifter who is also on the council of the Nomads MC. Christie is s dentist for the prison and that is where they will meet. Their mating is filled with raw loving, intense situations and humor. Christie will make you love her and hate her, she has been though alot of sorrow before meeting Mundo. So I happy to see her get an HEA. Now I am hoping Fanning continues with this series because I would love to read Kiko and Major's stories. Happy Reading! !

I fell in love with Mundo...who wouldn't! Although I didn't like Christie's attitude a couple of times I guess she really loves Mundo. And he doesn't believe he found a mate...they had their problems and will learn to cope with them cause their mates! I love his caring about his brothers/clan and how he feels and treats his mate. We could only wish ! Great story and of course who doesn't love the bears. I want more of the Nomads...

Second book in the Bear MC series. This one continues the story of the Bear clan. We get to see how they have changed since Mars has taken over as Prez. We get to watch one of the younger (50 is young for a shifter) find his fated mate. But nothing ever goes smoothly. But if they both stick to their hearts they can make it.

No cliffhanger - shifter MC read.

not a bad series, quite unique and characters that are easy to like. just enough variation in each couple's (or triad) story to keep with the theme but make each story different. stopped at the end of the current generation but will probably pick it up again in a few days to read the next lot of stories

Mundo by Becca Fanning was another great read in The MC Bear Mates series. Jimmy "Mundo" Aston never thought that he would find his mate when he was locked up. Christie is a dentist in the jail and never expects Mundo to show up at her door when he is released. I loved reading this book and cant wait to read more by Becca Fanning.

Wow!! This author's books are absolutely amazing.. I was hooked from the start.. I always am when it comes to her books she never disappoints. This book will definitely have you coming back for more!! If you haven't already checked out her other books you definitely should.. Who knows you might just find your new favorite author..😊

Another great bear shifter story from Becca. The meeting between Mundo and Christie is quite mundane, but as the story flows the sexual roller coaster of heat is so sizzling you won't want to stop reading.

The second MC Bear Mates story is interesting shifter romance. The storyline is amazing and well written. The characters have intense chemistry.

OK so I love this couple. Nothing has been easy for them but they still manage to make things work.
Mundo coming out of jail with one thought..find his mate and claim her. Definately a different way to to find your mate and having to wait? Harsh! But he knows her name and when he is out he goes to her. For a biker and Bear shifter he has a soft side when it comes to his mate. It's so lovely when he shows his feelings to her and can be sheepish. No matter what thought he will protect her, so when a threat to her shows up he is on a warpath.
Christie is a dentist that works in jails. She is living half a life after a loss that has crushed her..Until mundo. Falling for an ex-con and a patient is not the normal thing for Christie, but he has wakened up something inside her that only he can tame. Alot of truths hit Christie and it's hard to process. One thing she knows without a doubt is that she is safe with Mundo and if something happens he or one of his brothers will come for her. How she sees herself oh thanks partly to others has put her self esteem down..loads. well until her mate comes along and it builds back up. Watching her grow and deal was fun to read.

Loved the devotion in the story. Would have given it 5 stars but I wanted more of these two.

Read on Radish. Mundo and Christie are a strange contrast that work despite the curves life throws at them. Hoping more of their story happens as it felt a bit like a cliffhanger.

Mundo Aston was back in jail again. He was going to have to be more careful. The authorities had his age around 50 – but for a bear, that was closer to 20 and it could get difficult trying to convince them. He already had a long rap sheet. But as a lieutenant in the Nomads Motorcycle Club, he needed to set a better example.
Now, finally, he was getting out of prison after his 2-year sentence. And even better, he had briefly met his mate two weeks before he got released! She was the dentist on staff in the prison and had worked on his broken tooth. So when he met his MC brothers outside, they started the search for her address.
Christie was feeling the effects of the mating bond which was confusing to her. When Mundo tracked her down, they started an intense relationship. But when another Club decided to take her captive, things got complicated quickly! Would this drive Mundo and her apart? Would he convince her to trust him?

He is weeks away when he meets Christie Lockheart, the dentist working at the prison. Christie is going through the motions of life after losing her husband. She could at least focus on her work, the one thing that kept her grounded. She feels an oddly deep connection with an inmate and cannot stop thinking about him. When he is released, she has a chance at a new life if she is wiling to take the risk of the MC life. Christie finds out the Nomads are a very different MC. I loved re-visiting with the MC. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
