Her life’s in New York. The property she’s inherited is in Bridgewater, Montana. Going back to the town she visited every summer as a child stirs up long forgotten memories and a girlhood crush, on not one teen-turned-hot-cowboy, but two. Jack and Sam. Fortunately for her, in Bridgewater, one cowboy’s never enough.

Title: Ride Me Dirty Series ➳ Bridgewater County1# Author: Vanessa Vale
⭐⭐⭐
ღ This book was my introduction to Ms. Vale. I can definitely see myself reading more of her work in the future. Tell me this doesn’t peak your interest-Two alpha one cowboys & one Lawyer headstrong city girl in a town where two husbands & one wife is the norm
♥●• Catherine/Katie Andrews, she lives a fast life in NY. 80 hours week as Lawyer & she trying to climb the corporate ladder to become partner in her firm. Then she inherits a property in the small town of Bridgewater Montana from her long lost uncle
► Jack is the rancher & Sam the lawyer, they are cousins. They have share girls before. Most call them the Kane Boyz. Once the Kane Boyz show you their lovin you usual can’t get enough of them
Katie has to make a hard decision to make, should she sell the ranch & go back to New York or stay & see what things will be like in Bridgewater with her 2 men? There was also Lil surprise twist about her uncle land
I can honestly say I’ve never been too much of fan of Cowboys book until now ☾ This was a quick read, Insta-Love & a fun one.
I got RIDE ME DIRTY for the book of the month.**In exchange for an honest review.**
-M/F/M menage -no cheating -no ow/om - they had all meet years prior when heroine would visit her uncle. She was only 12- no romantic feelings other than a childhood crush on her part -she pushed them away -steamy sex scenes -no violence of any nature -no epilogue which brought my rating down. It just ended with no idea of what becomes of the couple.
This would have had a much higher rating if there had been an epilogue.
The h's career situation was so centre stage and toxic that even I was stressed for her. Either the author used to be a stressed out lawyer or knows well someone who is. Still it took pages away from the romance connection.
I liked Sam. Jack falls prey to romance authors' common pitfall of making the male POV sound like a cocky cad who is all about the libido. In short he was shallow and I didn't much care for him.
3.5 stars!

Hot, hot, hot! Jack and Sam know how to push all of Katie's buttons and they do not hold back. Perfect if you're looking for a quick read that is panty melting hot. I had a few issues with certain things like the Kane's being cousins, but at times it seems they are brothers they way things are written, but I'm hoping that it was only because it was an ARC and it was fixed for the final.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.
Ooh this was good! Jack and Sam were so sweet and cared for Catherine and showed her what it is to be loved. The idea of a town that encourages it's residents to have a polyamorous relationship, particularly two men and one women, is far fetched, but I'd move there in a heartbeat! LOL. The story went quickly and there were plenty of romantic scenes. I am definitely going to read the other books in the series!
4 Stars for Ride Me Dirty: Bridgewater County Series, Book 1 (audiobook) by Vanessa Vale Read by Kylie Stewart. This was a fun story. It’s interesting to see what other possibilities there are out there for love.
Not my favorite. I have no problem with the menage concept, but the only 2 M/M/F menage books I've read (the other one being Bedfellows) have been overly simplistic, short, and not fleshed out. The premise of this polyamorous town was really silly. The characters were simple and uninteresting. Same with the plot.
I prefer my romances and love scenes to have a lot of tension and build-up that make the payoffs a lot greater. This book doesn't have any of that. In fact, the opening scene is a snapshot of the first sexual encounter. It totally spoils any lead-up, and isn't that interesting because I didn't know any of the characters at that point so I wasn't invested. Then of course that scene is skipped over when it naturally occurs in the plot. Bad idea all around.
If all you want is to read a bunch of sex scenes without being vested in the characters, then you might like this book.
Having read and thoroughly enjoyed Vanessa Vale's historical ménage series, Bridgewater, I was curious to see how the series would work in a contemporary romance. Going by this first book in a new series, I really enjoyed it. The town of Bridgewater is still firmly entrenched in the idea of two men or maybe three, marrying one woman. As compared to the earlier series, Catherine seems to have more of a choice as to whether this arrangement is really what she wants. Whether she wants to give up her lonely high=-powered life in New York to move to Montana and be with two incredible men who love and care for her. Wait is that really a difficult decision???? Another steamy, great read by Vanessa Vale.
I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK.
I have NO shame giving erotica 4.5 - 5 stars if it is written well. This is one of those books! Vanessa Vale provided explanation, sexiness, and just the right amount of tension to this story about polyamorous relationships. Katherine is the city girl that has ties to the small town of Bridgewater, Montana. Jack and Sam are cousins that grew up understanding the polyamorous lifestyle. When Katherine inherited her uncle's ranch in Bridgewater; history is revealed and true feelings are accepted when Katherine, Jack, and Sam give into their connections. I am intrigued by this town and the characters to come!

Welcome to Bridgewater! There must be something in the water and that is why water rights are so valuable in this town. Everyone is so polite and happy. The men are so hot and giving. Unfortunate circumstances bring Catherine (Katie) to Bridgewater; back to her childhood summer hangout. Katie finds some needed relief from her crazy city life. OMG, do the Kane boys give the best relief ever. First time reading a book written by this author. Great for a fun, quick, sexy read.
3.26-3.50 RATING - I actually ended up liking the contemporary Bridgwater series more than the historical Bridgewater books I've read. More emphasis on the ménage relationship and less on domestic discipline, etc. A little hokey with the instant attraction and ménage set up but I still enjoyed the overall story. A quick readable story not to be taken too seriously. I'll stick with this series.
Although I'm a fan of low-angst lust-to-love stories, plus menage!, there were a few scenes that were built up and then skipped over that were important to me. A little more character development would have gone a long way.
Bridgewater, Montana is still a town where the majority of the women have two husbands. The women have two loving men who cherish and protect them just as the town’s original founders did in the 1800’s. This story revolves around Katie a New York attorney come to town to settle her uncle’s estate. She meets with Sam Kane her uncle’s attorney and his cousin Jack Kane. The Kane men try to convince her they are the men for her. I really enjoyed the modern spin of the Bridgewater Brides ménage series. I loved that Katie was a take charge type of woman. But loved having two dominant men in the bedroom who only wanted to please her and take care of her. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Better than previous book, the h is lawyer who lives a life of desperation, constantly pushing herself to be more. Her uncles leaves a property for her in a small town where family dynamics are very different, and the lifestyle looks very tempting. If only we had a little more depth to the characters and a little less steam it would have been great. I liked the h and understood why what seemed to be an easy decision for her guys, was actually very hard for her.
This was a quick read, a fun one. I don't have much to say because this books has many things I'm not a big fan of, like insta-love or developing deep feelings for people you've known for less than a week; but this type of books are my guilty pleassure, so I have a hard time trying to avoid reading them. All in all, it was okay.
With more than a third of the page time dedicated to seduction and sex, this steamy little read qualifies as erotica. Not a super complex plot, but the characters are fun and it's a fast read.
This was my first Vanessa Vale book and I have to say that her writing has definitely impressed me. I got RIDE ME DIRTY on sale for $1 and then was able to get the Whispersync upgrade for $3. To only have paid four bucks for a story this good means that I made out like a bandit on the deal. That's besides the fact however because had I known how much I was going to enjoy the book I would have happily paid full price. And I'm sure that I'll be reading Vale again.
So here's my breakdown of this read...
The Romance: Though there was romance in the story there was definitely more emphasis on the sexual side of the relationship. This was brought up in a roundabout way at the end of the book so I was happy to see that it had been acknowledged by the author in some way. Since the book was written in a revolving first person point of view a lot of the softer emotions of romance were internalized. I would have liked to have seen more of the feelings spoken aloud.
The Sex: Loved it! Sizzling hot and not repetitive. They definitely had chemistry. Their sexual relationship was what I call BDSM lite. There was dom and sub behaviors but only during sex plus there was also lots of spanking.
The Setting: I really like the way Bridgewater works LOL. A place where the normal relationship is two men to one woman sounds great to me!!
What I Didn't Like: The thing that really bothered me about this story might sound stupid but it totally bugs me that I don't know what made Sam and Jack decide that they were going to pursue a Bridgewater relationship together. Was it just that they were close as kids? I think that a few lines of the story should have been dedicated to that subject.
About The Narrator: This was the first book that I've listened to with Kylie Stewart as the narrator. I found that she could easily draw me into the story but then I would break out of it because there would be a problem with her pace. She needs to work on that IMO and while I'll listen to her again I probably won't actively seek out her performances.
They're going to claim her. Together. She just doesn't know it yet.
Catherine's life is in New York. The property she's inherited is in Bridgewater, Montana. Going back to the town she visited every summer as a child stirs up long forgotten memories and a girlhood crush, on not one teen-turned-hot-cowboy, but two. Cousins Jack and Sam Kane. Fortunately for her, in Bridgewater, one cowboy's never enough.
Catherine is forced to choose the life she really wants: the big-city lawyer or the small town cowgirl with two men who want to take her for a very dirty ride.
Warning: Panty melting! Ride Me Dirty is a wildly dirty romance with two obsessed alpha cowboys and a Type-A heroine. This HEA is all about her - no m/m.
Bridgewater Country is one town that has a different way of living. They accept your choices, but their men are there for the women. To make them feel special, loved and doted on no matter what is going on in their lives, whether it's with one man, two or more. The idea behind having more than one man? Should one suddenly die, then the other can be the pillar to help their woman survive the loss. It's been the values that the town was founded on over 100 years ago and Catherine had spent her childhood summers until the age of 12, none the wiser but loving her family and friends that lived there. Years later she inherits her uncle's house and must make her way there to take care of the legalities, taking time off of her high stress and time consuming job as a lawyer... on the plane she meets Jack, the cowboy that her best friend encourages to have wild monkey fun (paraphrasing here), and their attraction is instant... igniting to higher heights when Sam, Jack's cousin, joins in, wanting to keep them all together forever.
4 breath taking dreams
this is my first novel i've read by Vanessa Vale and i loved it. I know that this is the contemporary/modern twist to her historical romance novels of the same town, but it was done in such a way that you can't help but be curious as to whether or not if it exists. While there were many elements of insta-love, i enjoyed how Vanessa Vale tackled the subjects of what's important in life: work, family, love and all the things that makes us grateful that we're alive every day. Knowing there will be more books in this series makes me just a little more than impatient to find out exactly whose story we'll get to experience next..
The book and story were pretty good and definitely HOT.
Audible Escape Narration Review - But, my main complaint with this narration is the lack of difference between character voices. The narrator has one job... To bring the characters to life.. And while her voice was good. And she nailed Katherine's character.. There was ZERO difference between Katherine's voice and the Two Men in the story, Zero difference in inflection and/or tone of voice for the two guys. It was really hard trying to figure out who was speaking and when. You really need to listen closely to keep track. But other than that it was alright.
I would probably do a re-read of the book itself over listening to the story again in the future.
J'ai pas fini. La voix du livre audio, c'est vraiment pas ça. Et cette auteure semble éviter complètement de prendre des mecs pour lire les passages masculins de ses livres... c'est bizarre, ça
If you just want a fast paced, sexy time filled rec. Then here it is lol Kinda predictable story line but otherwise actually really good hehehe give me 2 cowboys thanks. If you are Simon, please disregard this short review 🫣
I did not read this for the plot. Two hot cowboy Montana men on the other hand… definitely slightly disappointed in myself for finishing this book in less than five hours but hot and bothered can sit right next to my shame.
Wow. Steamy is an understatement. Listened to this as an audiobook which I don't know if that made it more or less steamy ... Quick easy story. Few eye rolls while listening but overall enjoyable
