First of all I just want to say thank you to Dylan for giving me the opportunity to read this book, it touched my heart in many ways and once it grabs hold of you-you just can't let go. The plot of this read is twisted greatly into this read and so I'm going to try my hardest to make this review spoiler free, so it might be a tad vague because I honestly don't want to give anything away for you.

 photo D0B5F758-993D-4AB1-B0A7-195481585D21_zpsqgshwhpu.jpg

So what's it about?
This is Milly and Deans story, so it's the second book in the Symbols of Love series. These are interconnected standalone reads but I'd still highly recommend Rise to start. Just so you get the whole picture. This is Milly's turn now though and she's the older sister.

Milly and Dean were high school sweethearts, and don't we just love second chance romances. You feel their pain and heartache seep through the pages, how they yearn and want what they once had. For Milly and Dean their relationship got twisted into their families life as such so separated for a time. And years later Milly is very much the shell she once was. But she's pulling herself up and starting a new.

"I know one thing, and only one thing, for certain, and that is I was placed on this earth to love you."

Do you know what I loved about this book? The communication between both parties, these characters are older, wiser and stronger so whatever they are hit with they learn to talk and live it head on. I'd say ultimately this read is about learning to LIVE AGAIN. Learning to breathe and above all learning to Love and fall in love from the beginning.

And Dean Dean Dean SWOOOON mine mine mine.. #justsaying LOL
 photo F023B098-7436-4CAC-8786-26910936BA1C_zpsza83uuwx.gif

I digress..

On another note the one thing I ADORE about this read was the ethos of family. The unit, the love and the care that seeps through the whole book, you cannot do anything but hold it tight to your heart. They will just take your breathe away. It was fun, loving, emotional and I'll say it again but COMMUNICATION just made this book for me. I loved how they just chatted it out. Dealt with it and moved on. They are being adults seriously I am in awe of them.

 photo 56D93E4C-393B-4BF0-B7BC-9CBB8FD8B276_zpsrqwqtqpn.jpg

And lastly this couple just fit together with ease. They are sensual to the T.. they love and loved hard.. plus the writing the writing flowed with ease, I was absolutely engaged through the whole book. Once I started I couldn't stop so my advice take a day off LOL

I am excited for what's to come next, so do I recommend it.. HELL YES

Enjoy my loves..

“We had a good life.
“Why have good when you can have great?”

Remember is centered around two people who should have always been together but were driven apart by unimaginable circumstances. Luckily, life saw fit for them to find each other again but the problem was finding a way to a happily ever after after life gave them a shitty hand.

Milly grew up with Dean, the love of her life. He was her everything and she was his. Their connection was ran deep and so real that I could literally feel it coming off the pages. While reading their story I started wondering if my husband loved me like Dean loved Milly. I wanted what they had. I need to ask my husband how much he loves me later. Milly is gorgeous and she has a beautiful, rich soul. She has a quiet confidence to her which isn’t forced or all in your face. That confidence was also hidden so far down that even Milly forgot it was there until her no-good-ass husband, Kevin, decided he no longer wanted her to a part of his life.

That confidence came back real quick when that no-good-ass husband of hers decided he also wanted to take their son with him. That’s when Milly decided enough was enough and it was time to find herself again.
Whatever sadness, pain, wistfulness, or regret I was feeling over the demise of my marriage, disappeared when I got the letter. They were replaced with pure, white hot rage. – Milly">

Dean loves Milly with every part of his body. When the possibility of seeing Milly again presented itself, he hit the ground running. You see, Dean never thought there would be a day when he didn’t have Milly in his life but after years apart he finds her married and with a child and he is beside himself. He couldn’t see past his anger and hurt to find a way to understand why Milly made the choices that lead her away from him when she promised she never would.

Hurt feelings can often lead to even more hurtful words that one can never take back. Both Dean and Milly learn the hard truths of that. Just because second chance romances are beautiful doesn’t make then any less painful and takes a lot of work to make it work.
“Maybe because you fucking loved me? Maybe because we made promises to each other.” – Dean

In the end the big question is, “Do you remember us?”

So, what happens when one person gets there head out of the ass and fights for what they want? What happens when one person decides to find who they are are again. What happens years fly by and hurt feelings begin to fester? I guess you’re going to have to read the book to find out.

Do I recommend this book? Yes, ladies and gentleman I do.

Will I read another book by this author? Um…yeah! I can’t wait to interview her too!

"We'll always find each other. You're the one."
"Still and always"

I adore a good second chance romance and Dylan Allen captivated me with Milly and Dean's story. Still the One is one of those books I didn't want to put down, but I also tried to slow it down because I never wanted it to end!

Milly and Dean were high school sweethearts and so in love. It was a real love and one that they thought would be everlasting. There were some huge obstacles out of their control that tore them apart, and now, over a decade later, they're back in each others lives. Milly's life isn't where she thought it would be, but she has a son she loves more than life and now Dean is back.

Dean. Sigh. Dean loves Milly so much and always has. He was an amazing man and boyfriend as a teen, and now grown up, he's even better. Both of them have grown and matured and can see their past situation for what it was and only have the future to look forward to. I love the romance and passion between these two. It's obvious that no matter what happened in their past, for Milly, it's only been Dean, and for Dean, it will only ever be Milly.

Milly is the oldest sister of three and her family storyline is an important part of the book. The first book in this series (Then Came You) establishes the family aspect and even though this could be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend checking out that book first. I've loved both books in the series so far, though this is my favorite. I'm so looking forward to the final book in the series!

If you're looking for a truly romantic second chance romance, I can't recommend Still the One enough!

"I whisper, 'This is us,' and he whispers back, 'Always.'

Congrats to you, Dylan Allen! Thanks to your fabulous writing, amazing characters, and witty and heartfelt dialogue, I found it easy to fall in love with Dean and Milly. Through flashbacks of the two, we were pleasantly witnessing their journey through young love. You even had my kids looking at me like I was crazy because I screamed aloud when these two were reunited.
"My heart feels so full, joy leaks from my eyes."

"He wanted me, which makes me feel like I won the lottery."

Thank you for the closure. After finishing Rise, I had quite a few unanswered questions, especially regarding Milly's father and his disappearance. So thanks for clearing those right up. I loved the way it was handled and enjoyed the range of emotions explored with it. The evolution of Dean and Milly's relationship was so beautiful. I loved how supportive, caring, and trusting they were of one another. And how they both just knew that they didn't want to EVER live without the other ever again.
"Then I remember I haven't really been alone since I was sixteen years old. Because that's when Millicent Hassan crawled into my heart, staked her claim on it, and never let go." - Dean

"I now without a doubt that as long as he draws breaths, Dean is the only person I want to navigate through this messy journey we call life with." - Milly

Full disclosure: I wasn't a fan of how often Milly snapped at Dean. Mostly without cause. It drove me nuts. As well as they knew each other and as close as they were, it was unwarranted. Especially because as far as I could tell, she never did that to her husband, who in so many words couldn't compare to Dean. Why was she so blatantly hurtful to the man she loved for more than a decade? Me? I would have clapped back LOL.

If you're looking for a story full of steam, warmth and feels, I can't recommend REMEMBER enough. I may be reaching here, but I swear there's a story brewing with Lilly and I for one am looking forward to it.

I am not liking Remember that much. It is surprising after I read other book by Miss Allen and liked it.

Remember is too cheesy. Too dramatic. Too bland. There is a lot of OTT conversation with no real punch. I am not a fan. The chemistry is also insta. Even this is a secind chance romance, Miss Allen does not give me much of previous relationship.

I love groveling and damn Dean delivered big time in Remember. He wooed and made me swoon constantly in his pursuit to get Mille back.

Millie and Dean were high school sweethearts and hadn't seen each other in over a decade when they meet again as adults. Unfortunate circumstances pulled them apart when they were young and now they're trying to find a way back to one another. One thing is certain. They're each other's constant. Soul mates. When they're together they can survive anything.
Millie lost a part of herself when she was married to Kevin and when he leaves her she finally takes charge of her life and wants to make a change. For the better. For herself and her son Anthony. Dean is a part of that plan. He's always wanted her and stops at nothing to get her back. He makes Millie embrace parts of herself she has suppressed when she was with Kevin. Their chemistry and love was amazing. I loved how obsessed or infatuated he was with Millie and also gave her space to be her. Millie showed her true self. Empowering and strong. Her love and trust in Dean never wavered.

This was a fabulous second chance story that gave me a great story filled with romance, smoking hot scenes and a wonderful epilogue. Now I hope Lilly gets her story cause damn I'm intrigued.

Second place, second best, second fiddle, second string, runner up... Second, obviously, is not first. Second, usually, lacks in comparison to first. Usually.

Dylan's SECOND book is here. Remember. I ask though, that you do not think for one moment that this book is less than her first. This book far surpassed my expectations for a sophomore release. Dylan is a writer. Bottom line. She may have a day job or maybe even a night job as most indie authors these days do but I imagine that at the inner most part of Ms. Allen's soul lives a tiny little typewriter and a tiny little writer just working its tiny little @ss off. She's able to make characters relatable. Story lines beautifully heartbreaking and happy ever afters gettable. She's got stories to tell and a mass of people to bring joy to through her words. Remember is so well thought out and I absolutely fell in love with Millie and Dean - or as I have dubbed them #Dillie (you can thank me later). I mean, what's better than second chance love stories?! There's that word again...second.

Ms. Allen's writing has shown growth from her debut release only a few months ago. I foresee many great things still to come and I wouldn't chance missing any of it.

Remember clearly elevates the word second in EVERY way imaginable.

"With one kiss, his capture of my very soul is complete and final. This is us. And always will be."

After finishing Rise I was really looking forward to Milly's second-chance romance. It was obvious from the first book that there were things she was keeping to herself and I couldn't wait to find out what. Remember started with a bang, I was instantly catapulted into Milly's mind and was feeling exactly what she was feeling. It was a hurricane of emotions for me, I went from sad/beat-down to angry and ready for a fight. Dylan Allen has a way with words, she hypnotizes and doesn't let you go until the end. So many things happened in the first half of the book, I was really excited to see where Milly's journey would take her. She lost herself and tries to remember who she was. I loved seeing her grow and develop as an individual. I love her personality so much, and the same goes for Dean, her first love. He was so swoon-worthy and I couldn't get enough of him. These two were magical together. What they have is that one of a kind love. (I am still looking to find mine)

"She looks like Hera descending Mount Olympus. She is more beautiful than Helen of Troy, and I would be willing to battle an entire nation for her."

The way they were reunited was amazing, I really loved it. I loved the flashbacks of when they were young and in love, and wish there were more of them (and this coming from someone who normally dislikes flashbacks). In the last quarter of the book many secrets are revealed, and I have to say I was really impressed with how Dylan made everything fit so perfectly together. I loved that there was a bit of a mystery/suspense aspect to the story. There were questions I still had from the first book so I was happy when all of them were answered in this one. Remember is a beautiful second-chance romance, it is also a book about family which was integrated phenomenally into the book. It also doesn't have any unnecessary drama, no crazy miscommunication that could've been solved by just talking to each other. This book has characters you can relate to. The story and pace feels very organic. Plus the sex scenes were very hot!

"I'd live my lonely, miserable childhood all over again. As long as I knew that at the end of the day I would end up with you."

I highly recommend Dylan's books for readers who are looking for novels that are more than just romance. She takes it to the next level, and I can't really categorize her books into one genre. I also stopped trying to compare her books to others, because they are one of a kind. I am a huge fan of her writing and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

"I’m starting to remember who I am. I’m not powerless, I’m not small, and I’m certainly not afraid."

This was an amazingly beautiful story about a second chance at love and a heroine finding the strength to remember who she is after her world gets turned upside down.

This is Milly's story. She is the eldest Hassan daughter and her life which she thought was safe has just flipped and taken her in a different direction. At first she is lost, appears weak and needy. Then the strength and courage of this woman surfaces and she recognizes she has actually been spared a lifetime of mediocrity and pain.

At the heart of this book is a breathtaking love story. It is a second chance at love that withstands years of separation. Dean is Milly's person. This book was heartbreaking and swoon worthy and oh so romantic.
“You are the greatest love of my life. We met, and my soul said, ‘that’s him, Milly.’”

It was also sexy as hell. Dean's need to protect, defend and claim Milly as his own was a huge turn on. Of course his dirty mouth in the bedroom was nothing to blink at either.
“I need you to touch me, Dean.”
“No. Tell me what I want to fucking hear. Don’t be a lady with me. I want you tell me what you want.”

This book also gives us much more information on the girls' father and we get alot of questions answered. This background story adds another layer to this book that makes it even more interesting. If you love a second chance romance with a strong heroine then please give this one a chance. While this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Rise first to fully appreciate this series.

When Dylan Allen released her debut novel Rise, she blew me away. The passion she poured into her writing was clear as day and so easy to read. I said after that, that I was eager to see where Dylan took her writing career and now, after reading Remember, I can say she's gone and blasted herself to another world.

The start is brutal. I felt every crack of heartbreak that Milly goes through. Suffering through a break up is the worst thing and Dylan absolutely nailed the feelings, the emotions, the whole heart breaking reality of it.

I adore Milly. So much. She became one hell of a character! And her hero Dean. Omg! Dean is FIYAH! That man lit up my insides, sent my heart galloping and liquefied my soul!

What eventually develops in Remember is a breathtaking second chance romance that is beautiful and heartwarming. Not without its ups and downs of course, but the whole book is balanced so, so well. Everything flows with a stunning fluidity. I devoured this book whole.

I really hope you get this book and I really hope you read it. I really hope that you get lost in the words and the story Dylan beautifully puts together. Because it's one hell of a story. Mesmerizing and magnificent.

A couple of months ago I read Dylan Allen’s debut book – Rise – and I loved it. I was a bit hesitant to pick up Remember. Nothing negative, but I’ve read and loved debut books before, and sometimes book two doesn’t live up to my high expectations. Remember however is different in a very positive way; I love Milly and Dean and their beautiful written story.
“I hope one day, I’ll see him again and if he’ll talk to me, I’ll explain everything. I just pray he’ll be able to forgive me.”

After the disappearance of her father, Milly’s life took a different turn. She had to leave her old life and the boy she loved behind and start over with her mother and her sisters. As a result, Milly craves safety and certainty, and she thinks she has found until everything falls apart. Starting over is hard, and seeing the boy of her past, a full-grown man now, is confusing; she still wants him, even though she doesn’t know him anymore. Dean was hurt badly when Milly left without a trace, but he managed to move on and become a successful business man. He wants ‘revenge’ on the girl who hurt him so much, but when he learns her new reality, all he wants is to win her back.
“I bring my fingers to my lips. I’ve never stopped feeling that kiss. I’ve never stopped loving him. I hope we can find a way to get past this because I want to have “great” again.”

Seeing each other after so long is hard on Milly and Dean. Both have a lot of questions and want answers, but they can’t deny the feelings that are still there. Dean is a bit hurt Milly moved on from him so clearly, but he doesn’t complain too much, after all he did the same. Milly welcomes the feelings she still has for Dean, but she is also a bit more careful. After all, it’s not just her she has to think about. It’s absolute clear from the beginning Milly and Dean will be together again, and I love they get their second-chance.

I love Milly, she’s a sweet woman who went through heartbreak, but she doesn’t minimize her own role. I love she’s no doormat, but held up her head in pride and moves on. She and Dean are meant to be together. Dean… Swoon… He’s my kind of hero. I love his determination and how he handles the whole situation.
“I’ve never needed another human being before you. And I need you. I remember myself, the real me, when I’m with you.”

Remember is a sweet, beautiful written second-chance story. Is it a romantic story without clichés? No, but the author has a way with using them for what they are; minor, realistic details and not the cause of major drama. This is not just the story of Milly and Dean, but also the story of Milly’s family and what they went through. I’m glad the author has tied up that storyline in this book, and didn’t drag it out unnecessary. Throughout Remember some hints are given about the third sister, Lilly, I can’t wait to read her story.
“This love, this happiness is a choice. Our adventure, the grand experiment of blending a family, healing old wounds, loving without limitation, reservation, or condition, is just starting”

I love Remember, plain and simple. I give it 5 stars.

I am utterly and fantastically blown away by this book. Seriously, what is this sorcery?!?

description

I listened to the majority of the book, which was narrated amazingly by Anthony Linden, but did enjoy the ebook too when I just didn't have the chance to listen. I don't think I have ever listened to a dual POV book with only a male narrator. I've listened to several with only a female narrator, but this was definitely a first and I have to say I am impressed. Anthony Linden brought so much emotion and heart to the scenes and I was captivated by his performance. I honestly, inhaled this book. I haven't been consumed by a story and its characters like this in a while and I just couldn't bring myself to stop. From the very first page, I was sucked in and needed to know more. I even messaged a friend to gush and share my feelings because I just couldn't contain them.

Milly was an incredibly relatable heroine. Haven't we all lost ourselves or our way at some point in our lives? I loved her evolution through the story and how with each chapter, she regained a piece of herself. She didn't let her terrible ex Kevin define or destroy her. Milly is intelligent, loving, giving, and so fiercely loyal. I absolutely loved her and Dean. Her history with him broke my heart and it was game over for me the minute he came onto the scene.

description

I am an absolute sucker for second chance romances that feature childhood sweethearts and Dean was all kinds of swoony perfection! I could not get enough of him and part of what endeared him to me was that, just like Milly, he is not perfect. These two lost souls have been existing, but not truly living until they crash back into each others lives. I loved that from the start, he was 100% devoted to Milly and unwilling to let his second chance slip away. Add in his deliciously dirty mouth and I was a goner.
"Milly, this body, this soul, this love, it's mine. The only other children that will grow inside you are the ones that I put there. This. Is. Forever."

description

I also loved (and hated) the secondary characters just as much as Milly and Dean. Mrs. Orleans and Nicola had me feeling like this
description

while Anthony, Mary, Addie, and Lilly had me

description

The story really came full circle at the end and I appreciated the kind of role reversal between Milly and Dean as far as guilt and blame was concerned regarding their parents. I could not have enjoyed this story more and though this is my first Dylan Allen book, it certainly won't be my last!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Holy melted panties!!! Dean and Milly rocked my socks off! Ok I loveloveloved Rise, but Remember, book 2 in the series, was on a whole different level! The writing, the emotion between our lovers, the emotion between their families. All the feelings this book encompassed just blew my mind away. There are some things that spilled over from the previous book as unresolved of which we gain a little closure. Then again, some questions still go unanswered.

Second chance, as I've said before, is one of my all time favorite tropes. Millicent Hassan and Dean Orleans are torn apart as high school sweethearts when Enron falls and her dad runs off with millions off dollars, presumably defrauded from the company. Her family is whisked away to Maryland by the FBI under some sort of protection that, in retrospect, Milly doesn't understand. The catalyst for their reunion? A messy separation from her husband Kevin, in which she and their son are tossed aside for an affair. The issue though, Milly has money, but has never really worked. She wants to create a new life for herself and take back the old Milly. The Milly that had so much pride and ambition, a force to be reckoned with.

This goal to be her own woman again prompts Milly to go into business for herself, having found a passion and talent for party planning. Armed with gumption and a surprising corporate party referral, Milly comes face to face with the true love of her life, someone she thought she'd never see again.

But everyone has secrets, secrets that have the ability to obliterate the past, present and possibility of any future. Among all the wonderfully dirty, hot sex had by Milly and Dean, the secrets fester and surface, but will the potential for a renewed love be enough to overcome their families' pasts?

One of my favorite comedic movies has a quote that says "True love is your soul's recognition of its counterpoint in another" (Wedding Crashers). I feel this quote fits Milly and Dean perfectly. As teens, the strength of their love was beyond what some adults ever get the chance to experience. The raw friendship and acceptance of what and who the other person is, judgment free, is something we all hope to have. The depth of emotion portrayed in this story, whether it was unbridled passion, soul-bearing love, or contempt for a painful past, will tear at your heartstrings. I absolutely adored the characters, their story and those around them. You hate the antagonists to the point of wanting them to die a painful death and fall in love with Milly and Dean's biggest supporters.

Loyal to the end, I give this 5 stars!!

Dylan pens a beautiful, emotional memoir of a girl, Millicent Hassan, who is beaten down by circumstances, but like a Phoenix rises from the ashes. A story of courage, bravery, self realization and stepping upto her own womanhood are some of the sentiments touched upon in exquisite detail.
Mille and Dean, childhood lovers, who don't even get a chance to explore their hearts and souls together when a devastating crisis separates them mercilessly far, far apart.
They meet after a decade when both have excess baggage in their tow.

"I was stuck in neutral for ten years".

Mille has her own desires and ambitions pushed down so deep, her dreams, her wants, her passion lay buried in a tomb of loneliness and despair. Forever looking for answers to their past, they both need each other to heal and resurrect their smouldering Embers of a relationship.

"Always remember who you are. When you need to, use the past as your prologue and write a story of your life that shows you haven't forgotten where you came from."

I loved Dean for his staunch support for Mille. Standing besides her and encouraging her to Remember what she was, what she lost and what she must be again, is what real men are made of and Dean is all that and more
Loved it from start to finish.

Dylan continues to blow my mind in this book.

Milly's life isn't fairing on well at the moment. After her husband walks out on their marriage, Milly picks up the pieces of what is life of her with one goal in mind :Remembering Milly. Remembering who she was and the things she set to do before she got married. Along the way, Dean, her childhood best friend and boyfriend renters her life sweeping her off her feet and reminding her what being loved and adored feels like.
This story!!! seriously..it was SO good. We finally get answers about what hapened to her father. This story is about forgiveness, remembering who you are, and family reuniting after years of separation. And hope.
There is so much hope weaved into this story.
I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

How is this only Dylan Allen's second book?

Remember is a wonderful second chance love story with heart, heat, and beautiful prose. I was sucked in from the very beginning and felt for Milly right away. And Dean, wow, my heart melted the second he appeared on the page. He was all about Milly from the beginning, and despite a tough past he was as sweet and loving as he was panty-melting. This is my first Dylan Allen book and can be read as a complete standalone. I can't wait to get my hands on more of her words!

Wow I don't know why I'm only reading this series now but it's brilliant. This is the second book in the series. I luvd the first book Rise and thats Addie's story. This book is her older sister Milly. I was really looking forward to this book I knew there was a lot to know about Milly. She is a really great character these sisters haven't had it easy over the last few years but they have sorted out there lives in the best way they can. Molly has tried to hold on to the luv she has with her husband but knew deep down there wasn't a point. But she has to try her luv life has been the same since Dean her childhood sweetheart. It killed her that her marriage was falling apart they had a cute lil did year old boy he was her world but she had to let go. She wasn't the woman she used to be her husband has worn her down in a way. So now he was gone it was time to get the old Milly back. She just didn't think getting her back would mean seeing the only guy that she has luvd Dean Orleans.

Dean Orleans is just wow. This guy is sexy an hot as hell he just oozes sex appeal from the start. After hearing with happened between Milly and Dean story I was rooting for them from the start. But things were so complicated with Milly's ex and things still crazy with her dad life just wasn't great. One thing that hadn't changed after 13 year was there attraction to each other. Once the air was cleared every feeling from when they were younger came rushing back. But Dean had his own drama to his mum is just a horrible woman I didn't like her at all and his ex was just a pain in the butt and just like his mum. I really don't know how he didn't see it. I was just glad that Milly and Dean found each other again they were just meant to be.

This book is one of my favourites from this author. Her books are just amazing there isn't a book that I have enjoyed. This story was just so good I was hooked from the start. The story of the Hassan sisters just keeps getting better. I liked that we got to know more about there family and got some answers from the last book. I m dying to know more about Lilly she is quiet but can be quite feisty to when she is passionate about something. These sisters are just brilliant I luv them there so different but so close I really like there relationship. I would highly recommend this book I'm a sucker for second chance romance there my go to. So I knew I would luv this book. I'm looking forward to starting the next book in this series.

I could not put Remember down. I adore second chance romances and this one was perfect. I fell in love with Dean immediately, especially his tenderness mixed with possessive bossiness. I adore Milly and her love of family and quiet strength. I loved the further views into Mary as a person and mother.

Remember
by Dylan Allen

Let's start with what a FANTASTIC journey this two lovers embrace. This is the second book from Dylan Allen series Symbols of Love . The story involves Millicent ( Milly) and Dean. It's a second chance story. A second chance at love and at life.

From the very beginning of this book you get an AVALANCHE of feelings. Milly's world come crashing, bringing down the life she had been living for the past 13 years after having to let go of Dean's love. You get to feel all those emotions with her. I literally cry in the first 2 chapters. Dylan has a way with her words that make you feel everything in your bones just like our main characters do. She also made me laugh; witch I TOTALLY NEEDED IT at that moment; she made me furious for Milly and totally SWOON by the love her and Dean have for each other. Now lets talk a bit about this two lovers.

Milly, an absolutely gorgeous woman. She's as beautiful as she is smart and loving. Incredible mom (FEARLESS and a LIONESS) to our little ANT MAN, great sister and daughter. This woman starts this journey a little lost. Her family will go through a lot of changes that will mark them all. Milly was very focus on been a perfect wife and mom that she forgets herself, her spirit, her fire. She will have the chance to bring all that back, to REMEMBER who she is and when that happens it will be with EXTRA POWER.

"I'm starting to remember who I am. I'm not powerless, I'm not small and I'm certainly not afraid"

Dean, Dean, Dean uuuuffff!!!!! Let me tell you something girls. If MY SIMON from RISE was SPECTACULAR, DEAN is OUTSTANDING. This blonde ADONIS has the MACHO ALPHA thing going on like a PRO. Oh My God you sure need to read this to see the way he is with Milly; I'm not even talking about the sex, WITCH IS 100 DEGREES HOT; it's the way he speaks to her, takes care of her. The way this one in a lifetime love cosume and make them both stronger. Your either be with dreamy eyes sighing or fanning yourself.

" I can't hold back when I'm with her because she's and always will be the one"

" Milly this body, this soul, this love it's MINE."

I don't want to keep telling you how good this book is. It has all the elements you want in a love story. I truly love Dylan's work and words. They are one of a kind. Can't wait to get book 3 already.

"Always remember who you are. When you need to, use the past as your prologue and write a story of your life that shows you haven't forgotten where you came from."

Oh My Gosh, Remember was just freaking gorgeous to read. What a beautiful and moving story that completely touched my heart. To think this is Dylan Allen's second book. Wow, I am completely stumped because Dylan Allen's words in her books completely wrap you up and pull in its depths. Since I started reading Rise, I have become a fan. After reading Remember, I am now a bonafide number 1 fan of Dylan Allen. Remember definitely hit it out of the park. It was just fantastic.

Remember was a touching story of love and forgiveness. I was completely enthralled and mesmerized by the beautiful undertones of this magnificent book. Phenomenal raw. Emotionally artistic. Angst. Remember was an outstanding and elegant story that totally moved my soul. Remember was an excellent touch of second chance of love. It was more than a second chance on love. It was a second chance at independence. It was as second chance of self discovery. It was second chance at life. Dylan Allen wrote a perfect and profound book that gave such the warmest feelings ever. Heart warming and just swoon worthy. Gosh, it was amazing.

Dean and Milly are just an amazing couple with beautiful and opulent chemistry that gave me indulgent goosebumps. Loved them to bits. I rooted for this couple through and through. Milly was vulnerable and lost when I first got to know her in Rise. I could see she was a fighter, independent and such genuine woman who needed love and care. Dean. Le sigh. Oh Dean was just sweet, warm, protective, sexy and just a stand up guy. Seriously I want my own Dean. They were just perfect for each other.

Remember is definitely one of my favourite of 2017. You need to definitely buy it and read it because it is just wonderful.

Words fail to express how much I loved this book . It was everything I ever hoped for as a reader . It had everything I look for in a book down to every single detail .
Remember is this intricate tale about family, self confidence , second chances and REAL love . The one everyone of us chases .The real deal . The tingles the butterflies the epicness . True Love .
Milly and Dean were high school sweetheart who were separated after their families went through an epic drama . They were ripped apart from each other’s lives in a heartbreaking way only to come together in a breathtaking one . They honestly stole my heart . The connection between them Run SO DEEP I could feel it down to my bones .
I thought that the way Dean loved Milly , fought for her made her his absolute first priority was so beautiful to witness it made me cry and I NEVER cry . He clung to her as she was his lifeline . His sense of existence . Flaws, past kid and all .
I loved how Milly grew up from the needy insecure woman into a strong and driven she came to be through the book . She was such an inspiration and a TRUE lady .
Honestly I thought that their love was inspiring and thought provoking . It stemmed from something powerful and innate and so breathtakingly beautiful I am having chills just thinking about it
But my absolute favorite thing at all was the writing . Man , Dylan upped her game something fierce . Her writing became so much more powerful than Rise . SO raw, yet so simple , gritty yet beautiful . She had me on this one . My faith in her talent knows no bound .
Dylan allen is going places everybode . Mark my words .

Sometimes stories are so well written that you just have to smile. That’s how “Remember” by Dylan Allen was for me. It was the perfect follow up to “Rise”. I loved how it showed how the timelines between the two books were woven together in a seamless was. It had humor, suspense, sexy times, sad times…. It was just REAL.

I loved that above all else, no matter WHAT, Dean LOVED Milly. He LOVED her. It was never a question. He loved her to his core and it was beautiful to see. This is the epitome of a second chance romance and it’s incredible. Their chemistry is RED HOT and it explodes off the page, but so does their love. It’s a delicate balance that most authors can’t find but Dylan Allen was able to do so easily.

I do have one, tiny complaint…. The ending, the “wrap up”, the “answers” felt slightly rushed. Not so much that it was distracting but I would have liked that portion to be a bit longer and more detailed.

All in all, I truly loved this book and I cannot wait to see what this author does next.

A solid 4.5 stars.

This second chance romance had me routing for Milly and Dean from the beginning. Their love seemed so inevitable but with insurmountable barriers being thrown up in their path at every turn. This book has deep feels and angst for days but the story progresses well. I'm also very intrigued by the mysterious subplot around the disappearance of Milly's dad, which continues from the first book, Rise.

I am looking forward to more from Dylan Allen.

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book from the author.

Those Mesmerizing Green Eyes

Remember by Dylan Allen is a fast-paced, intense and passionate second chance romance that had me on the edge of my seat at times. Ms. Allen does an excellent job blending romance, mystery and a bit of intrigue in this story.

Milly has been dealt a blow when her husband of ten years decides he wants a divorce. Over the years, she has put a lot on hold to be a housewife and mom and now she discovers that it's time to rediscover herself and find out what she wants out of life. Milly creates a "Remembering Milly" list where she lists her hopes and dreams that she wants to accomplish and experience. Along the way, she runs into Dean, an old flame and her best friend from high school. Dean is intense, passionate and honest, and he brings out Milly's passionate and assertive side. When these two come within ten feet of each other sparks don't just fly, they explode.

Ms. Allen does an excellent job weaving in flashbacks of Dean and Milly from high school with their interactions from present day. I felt their connection as young lovers which only enhance as they get older. These two have an explosive chemistry together. I love the way Ms. Allen describes Dean's mesmerizing green eyes!

Ms. Allen knows how to write relationships in her books, in addition to the romance between the main characters. I think her secondary relationships shine in Remember. I love scenes with Dean and Milly's son, Anthony, as well as scenes with Milly and her mother and Dean with Milly's mother as well. She has a talent for inflicting lots of emotions with fast-paced dialogue.

There is a mystery element in the romance as well, which had me guessing until the end and I love the way Ms. Allen had everything come full circle in the end. She ties everything up nicely.

Remember is the second book in Ms. Allen's Symbols of Love series. While it is interconnected with another book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I highly encourage you to pick up Ms. Allen's work. She a very well-rounded writer who knows how to write emotions in her dialogue.

OK so I just finished this AMAZING book Remember by Dylan Allen and I can't believe it is only the second book she has written. I fell in love with her writing after reading her first book Rise and this book just escalated my love and admiration for her beautiful writing style. WOW I LOVED everything about this story that centered around the sensual and beautiful second chance love story between Millie and Dean.

We first meet Millie in Rise and her character in Remember is one that we could all relate to in many ways. She was a lost soul on so many aspects but as she is trying to rediscover herself, her high school love Dean, who is so darn sexy, shows up and a second chance romance is rekindled and set on fire. I don't want to give too much away but it is safe to say you don't want to miss this story that is full of happiness, sadness, betrayal, loss, passion, heartache but most of all love that has the power to heal all things.

I enjoyed how Dylan Allen takes us on a journey of self discovery and makes us realize what is truly important in life. Her writing is so flawless and allows her characters to come to life to the point we feel, understand and relate to them on so many levels. We could feel their love and passion and boy did Dean and Millie have some hot passion going on but in a beautiful way. Their chemistry and attraction pulled you into their story right from page one. The alternating points of view from both Millie and Dean allowed us to fully follow their adventure. I encourage everyone to read this inspiring novel as it will truly touch your heart and stay with your forever. Thanks Dylan for another amazing read!!

This was a fun read!

Although Dean wasn't a Beyonce enthusiast like Simon,I still enjoyed him and Milly's story.

Remember is the story of Millicent, Addie' s sister, as she finds herself again after a nasty break up with her husband.

I loved how light hearted and fun this book was! I was not sure what to expect, though I know Dylan Allen is a great author. Her first book Rise was good but it was just good. This one was much more exciting! I still feel like Dylan Allen is clearly way more of a romantic than I am but I loved how the love story was balanced with the family story. Remember is not just a romance, it is a reminder that any age or time of one's life is a good time to reassess yourself and readjust your life. I loved how the characters came together. I am also a sucker for happily ever afters, though I like to think I am too hardcore for such things.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this title.* Where to begin........PASSION, FATE, LOYALTY, BELIEF, and FERVENT LOVE. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what I found Remember encompasses. This book is just EVERYTHING. Milly's and Dean's story touched on so many noteworthy topics that had me flipping the pages too fast. I found myself wanting to slow down and savor every word, every page, every kiss, every love-filled gesture. This story is so well within my wheelhouse, and had me bursting with excitement.

I had great expectations going into Milly's story, and Dylan Allen delivered 10-fold! Milly is an extraordinary woman. Given all that her and her family had to endure, surely it would have provided reason for her to be a complete wreck. However, gathering about her wits proved to be instinctual. She wasn't only living her life for herself, but for her son. In many ways, as I read this story, Milly reminded me of the legend of the phoenix. She rose out of the ashes and renewed herself. She took what laid before her and created the very foundation of what was to be a remarkable life journey ahead. One that was to include a love that endured and remained in her heart.

At Dean's introduction, I was not sure of what to expect. There was obvious resentment and tension that lingered for years; however, it provided for an intriguing segue of what was to come. Learning of his life and what transpired during their time apart, it became apparent that they were each other's answer. They were one another's life line.

As a second chance story, Remember offers its own unique set of obstacles. Despite a love that seemed set in concrete, Milly and Dean were not without an unpredictability that left me desperate to know who or what could possibly leave them irrevocably broken.

This story, their journey left me punch-drunk and sated all at the same time. I took away "remembering" the admiration I grew for Milly. Feeling her strength left me inspired, wistful and happy. And Dean.....I would be remissed by not acknowledging the tantalizing influence he had on me. My gosh, this man offered no shortage of sexiness......AND his mouth, both physically and figuratively were AH-MAZING.

Dylan Allen offers a new and refreshing take on a second chance love story with Remember. She provides a romance reader with a massively fulfilling take on what has been turned into so often as a rinse, lather, repeat fantasy. What a fantastic read! I am so anxious and delighted to continue on my adventure with the Hassan Family. This series is phenomenal, and I have Dylan Allen to thank for it.

After reading Rise By Dylan Allen I have been counting down the days until Remember came out . I would check up on Dylan Allen pages weekly just to see if I could get updates on when I could get my hands on this book. When I was able to get an ARC of this book I was thrilled and I Literally devoured this book the minute it arrived on my kindle and It was fantastic!

In this book we follow Milly and Dean and these two used to date when they where in high school and where very serious , however what happened with both of there fathers caused them to be ripped apart. Now Milly is going through a divorce and trying to deal with all of the changes that will affect her and her son because of it . However as Milly is trying to her Event Planner business up and going, one of her biggest clients happen to be Dean and lets just say while there first meeting was not filled with all the 'Reunited & It Feels so good feels " you could just tell the minute there eyes connected every feeling they had towards each other was reignited . I loved Milly and Dean's story , it was sexy and filled with swoons but that wasn't just it , I was just amazed at how supportive that are of each other , these two go through so much in this book and through it all they had each other backs and I just loved that . I feel like now anytime I think of the word soulmates I am going to think of Milly and Dean these two where just perfect for each other. Besides the romance I loved seeing the personal journey both Milly went through ,her character growth was just amazing and in a lot of ways Milly becomes more alive , more vibrant as you turn ever page and I just loved that.We also got to dig deeper into what was going on with Milly's dad and what lead Dean's father to do what he did as well and let me tell you all this , there were many time where I would think to my self I know how this is going to play out ..I was wrong lol .. I was so wrong ... this story definitely went in direction that I didn't expect , there were moments when my jaw literally dropped this book. Remember was just amazing.

Remember is a sexy , addicting , fun , heartwarming story . I loved this book and I NEED the next book!!. Dylan Allen if you are reading this and you would like to give me a copy of this next book that would be amazing lol . I can without a doubt that this is one of my favorite books of 2017 .If you love all these things in your books you should definitely get copy as soon as you can on June 1 2017.

This is only Dylan Allen's second book. SECOND! I have to let that sink in sometimes because as much as I LOVED her debut book Rise, and I absolutely did!! Remember just completely blew me away. Dylan clearly has a gift for story telling and has spent some time working on perfecting her craft. I looooooved Dean and Milly SO. HARD! The chemistry between these two was off the charts electric! She sprinkled all kinds of magical unicorn dust on this one, I couldn't put it down!!

I think if we tried we could all see a little of ourselves in our heroine Milly. I adore her. She's not flawless, which I love! She's strong and fierce. A loyal friend, and sister. An exceptional mother, daughter and a dependable wife. Wife. So much of her identity lies with that word so when her husband commits the ultimate betrayal Milly feels lost. Distraught. Scared. I could literally feel the pieces of Milly's heart breaking, I understood her pain, it was bone deep, debilitating and harsh!

But this is Milly so did she just crawl into a corner and boo hoo her life away? No! And that's another thing I love about Allen's female characters they're a force. Tenacious, tough and passionate. I rooted for Milly so hard as she put the pieces of her life back together and showed no misery. Nothing and no one was going to get in her way as she reclaimed her life.

Dean. Ya'll I can't even think about Dean without getting all excited!!!! I would describe him as a game changer. He is Milly’s first love and because of some very shady happenings in their past they've been separated for years. He blames Milly. He doesn't know the truth but he has never forgotten her. His everything. Dean is bascically perfection. Tall, gorgeous, intelligent, kind, compassionate, strong, protective, and um......very sexy and intense ****wiggles eyebrows****

Remember is a perfect second chance romance but it was so much more! Allen's books and characters have DEPTH. It was so heartfelt and sincere, smart and thoughtful, emotional, steamy, just enough drama and at the same time had the most hilarious moments! Dylan Allen did it again and I'm counting down the days until her next book!!
