After discovering who’s really in charge of the Rosewater Clan, Cara and Theo find themselves in a deadly imprisonment they can’t seem to escape. Theo has to come clean about some things in his past that he’s kept hidden, an Cara struggles to keep it together knowing she’s now solely responsible for Theo’s life.
Now that the truth is known, Theo and Cara must work together to find a way to save themselves, their mortalities, and their loved ones back in the mansion. First, they have to defeat Lady Em, a powerful immortal who can’t keep her eyes off Theo.
And then they’ll have to find a way to save themselves before the rival clans realize what they’ve done.

The finale and what can I say....... You will not be disapointed well maybe a little as its the last one😢. I could not put this book or series down, I became to love Cara, Theo, reily and kyle and will miss them now. This book had me gripped all the way through and the ending was brilliant, its a must read if you have read any of Amy's books although slighty different from her other books its still great.
I received this book as an arc copy for an honest review
Audiobook version: This was a unique series with a great plot. I loved the characters and the ride. I loved the series but i was a tad disappointed that the story concluded so close to the end of the book. I would have loved a little more time to absorb and bask before the end. It felt a tad rushed. This was a small thing though- I thought the series was great overall.
Narrator does a good job. She fits the characters and gives a clear performance; except for her pronunciation of the name Julio. Maybe it is pronounced Julie-o, but I’m thinking not if that someone is from Mexico. Overall, a good performance.
Entertaining ending to this series. Overall, I just didn’t connect fully with the story. The whole tone of the story and the characters just felt too simple for me. The romance was very sweet; Theo and Cara have a good connection. I liked the ideas of the Immortals and the death bracelets; thought that was a fun idea. I think the 3 books could’ve easily been 1 book, but still a fun read overall.
In this book, Cara and Theo start out imprisoned by Lady Em, which I’m mostly glad didn’t last very long, but still think there should’ve been more to it than there was. Cara and Theo need to figure out how to take the death bracelets off without dying and take out Lady Em, so that leads to a bit of adventure and suspense. I love how protective Theo is of Cara; not a fan of her complaining about it, but still so sweet. It was good to finally get some backstory for the other clans and Immortal stones, which I would’ve preferred it to have been throughout the series. Still some unique ideas there. I like how the ending went, but not fully. This may be spoiler-ish, so warning!
I didn’t like the whole story with the kids; an 18 year old with 12 kids, nope. Also, when they are trying to figure out how to get the death bracelet off, why couldn’t Theo just get a new Immortal Stone? When he got Alexio’s Stone, Theo went and got his old death bracelet from the person who was wearing it and that person was fine when it was removed. So, Theo could’ve got a new stone; like he did when he got Alexio’s Stone and Cara’s bracelet should’ve come off fine. Plus, there’s the extra stones in Lady Em’s necklace that could’ve been used for something. I don’t know just seemed like more thought needed to be put into this. Why show the scene of Theo getting the death bracelet from his old lifeblood; if it wasn’t going to come into play? I do like how it ended, but it still wasn’t explained properly why they didn’t really think of that. I may have missed something. Also, why in the heck would you send an untrained person in alone to take out the big bad; so stupid.
A fun, entertaining story with a super sweet romance and some interesting ideas.

I want to love it, but I just can't unfortunately. The plot itself is great and you get easily sucked into the world. But the writing is really difficult to digest. Sloppy writing, uninteresting character development, or should I say, lack thereof. I love the whole idea of the story. It could have easily been made into something grand, something that I could imagine seeing on the big screen... but the author's writing just makes me want to cry. The whole book feels like the level of two teenagers texting each other about this super hot guy at school lol. It felt like she wrote one single book, then chopped it in three pieces without any meaning or thought behind it whatsoever. Why publish them into three separated books? Each one is less than 200 pages as well... Felt like it was finished in a rush, in order to pump out more material and sales. Sigh. I honestly felt like I've been let down hard. So much potential but alas... Can we talk about that ridiculously easy ending of the villan too?
I did not see that solution coming! I thought I had the process to remove the bracelets figured out, but the actual solution is even better!
In this book, Cara and Theo are working together to take down the monster running their clan while simultaneously trying to find an effective way to remove Cara's bracelet. There is much action, adventure, and intrigue in this storyline.
Great book that wraps up the series nicely. Well done!
The covers of the books were a bit misleading to be honest. I thought she would have magical powers but nope, nothing. I found the series a bit anti-climatic. The way Theo and Cara were so drawn to each other, I figured they would turn out to be some kind of fated mates or something. It wasn't worth the time I wasted reading it
Totally not the way I saw it going, but was really great ! I think near the end things seemed a little too easy( I don't want to spoil anything) , so, I was really expecting a little more ? And the guessing on a certain subject instead of finding out for sure about it ? I just don't know about that. Other than that, it was a great series.
I enjoyed the whole series, and this book was just as good as the others, I was just disappointed with how easily Lady Em was dealt with, though I understand she was over confident and possibly over stressed it just felt lack luster.
