When I saw the title of this book, I had no idea what it was going to be about. Sinning covers a lot of things. But the author took this word and turned it into something really fun, exciting and suspenseful. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait until the next one. I have my theories about what might happen in the next book and I would love to see where the author takes this story. Sinning is about teenagers, girl and boys that has special abilities. There are all the elements involved. Rock, the sinner would have the ability to move and fight with rocks in many ways. Fire, the sinner would be able to manipulate fire as a weapon and so on. The chosen ones are sent to an academy to compete to the top 3 winners circle to train with Adalo. There is Kara, Zayden, Reno, Aviva, Marubee, Kaesar and Soro, to just name a few. They each have their own type of sinning and they are all good at what they do. These kids never thought they would not only walk away with a championship under their belt, but new friends too. And one day, the ones that didn't make it to the top 3, will be together again, with the top 3. Now to make it to each round without being eliminated, they fight one another with their sinning powers. Some will get hurt and some will go home. But it's not just winning, it's also what you learn from it. A few of them will have a hard time with that. The author had me laughing, in tears, cheering, picking sides and at the edge of my seat and figuring out a few mysteries. As the kids mystery unfolds about each of them. you see how they should be and are going to be tied to each other for the long run. Very well done and a fantastic story!
