Sarah J. Stone brings you the best of paranormal romance. Get ready for thrilling, hot, adventures with happily ever after endings and no cliffhangers.
In the previous story, Desired by Alpha Bear, Nina had announced that there were three more Council members to be found and brought together to reform the disbanded Council. One of those to be found was Alpha wolf, Fergus’ mate Diana. For ten years Fergus had believed that his mate was dead to discover that she was alive and held prisoner was beyond devastating to this proud man. Following a map that Nina provided, Fergus and two of his pack mates set out on a desperate journey to rescue Diana. What they found was beyond horrid and sets up the continuation of the vast corruption of this world.
Diana knew only pain and despair. For longer than she’d been able to keep track of time she’d been in this torture chamber’s cell, waiting to be taken once again, questioned for information she simply did not have while they once more found new and old ways to bring her more pain, more torture until she either gave up the answers or died. She often wished for death, but that release was denied her. The one thing that kept her somewhat sane was the constant dreams of a silver wolf, and his presence in her mind remained a constant. Diana had no memory of her life before this place. She couldn’t have told her abusers what they demanded even if she wanted. Now she’s almost beyond broken and prays for death.
Loved by Alpha Wolf is simply heartbreaking. Even as Diana recovers, the pain that both she and her mate suffer will make your own heart bleed. I have read countless it seems Shifter Romances, yet Fergus and Diana’s bond is one of the most touching and for the situation, realistic example of what mates should be. Fergus is full of guilt, hurting that the woman he loves beyond life has no memory of them, and learning how to help her survive this nightmare. He’ll make mistakes, but they are ones that come from loving someone so much that anything they need is not an impossible task. Diana’s recovery is full of anger and rage, confusion and yet security in the man who is her mate. Her trust will be hard earned, but the bond that is between them has remaining threads that push her onward to her own destiny.
We will run into old friends once again as their own journeys continue. New and even deadlier villains will be brought into the picture. And betrayals that will hurt so deeply. One is suspected, the other took me by surprise as I had a different character in mind. I enjoyed Fergus and Diana’s story. It is an emotionally charged story, one that will hold you firmly in it’s grip until the final page. We’re given a slight glimpse at the next story in this series, and that one certainly has my curiosity running high. I would recommend this story and this series to any lover of Paranormal Romance. The love is strong, definitely sexy moments, the danger is terrifyingly real and the journey continues.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Fergus and Diana lost 10 years to a hunter group called Mobeus, tge worst part being Fergus thought Diana was dead ( as he'd found her skinned pelt). When in fact she was being tortured daily for questions of which she had no answer. She'd deliberately made herself forget everything, including her name, so she couldn't give the hunters any information. Fergus and Diana's reunion was peppered with sex, love, hate, intrigue, fear and pack members who were truly terrified she had become a double agent. Fergus as alpha was furious and told them it was his way or they were welcome to leave !! Read the story to find out who the true traitor is and how strong Diana really was !! 4⭐'s fir an excellent paranormal romance and a well thought out book in the series !! Can't wait for the next book to come out. I will write a review on the 5 stories in the back of the book, under each ones Amazon spot .
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. My edition only included the main story and not the additional stories included in the Kindle edition.
Fergus and Diana's story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. The strength of the bond between them is so evident given what they have been through, though I do wish we got to see more of their re-connection before there was sex (especially given everything Diana had been through so recently).
The did find the story to be very engaging, and I'll admit I was a bit surprised when the betrayal was revealed. I also wanted to slap more than a few members of Fergus's pack over how they treated Diana.
This book is the 3rd in the series, and it can be read without reading the previous 2, but I highly recommend that in order to truly understand all of the plot you read those first.
This is the third book in the series and it just keeps getting better and better. After ten years of relentless searching for a mate, Fergus has finally found his when he rescues a damsel in distress. Diana is a woman who almost dies and is horribly abused. Can Fergus bring her back to the woman she once was or is it an impossible task? Can Fergus live denying himself his mate? This is such an intensely gripping story that you will not want to put down. There is a sneak peek into the next book in the series and I just cannot wait to sink my teeth into it. I volunteered to read an arc for a review.
Woohoo! More of these hot wolves and bears! All my favorite characters are back and lots of new ones as well. Sarah J. Stone once again wowed me with more tales of these brave alphas, their mates and packs. Clans join together along with their other friends in the supernatural world (we cannot forget the vampires and witches) to solve issues and fight the bad guys! It's never a dull moment here and we once again are given everything to make it exciting - spells, magic, war, evil and good, finding your mate, friendship, love, hot lovemaking scenes and family. I have read each of the books non stop and cannot get enough!!!!
Sarah J. Stone continues to provide wonderful stories and this third in the Shadow Claw series is a exhilarating read. Strong and engaging characters and a truly gripping storyline, ensure readers are kept glued to the pages throughout.
Fergus and Diana have dynamic chemistry, and while their tale is filled with the pain of so much time apart, the new chapter in their life leaves a warm feeling in your heart. I’m looking forward to the next, and so many more books by this talented author.
Diana is a wolf who has spent the last ten years of her life with huge gaps in her memory - she doesn't know who she is, and she suffered some horrible torture. She goes day to day until she's rescued by Fergus. Fergus is a strong, dominant wolf but once he realizes Diana is his missing mate, he is all about caring for and protecting her. But there's more to Diana in this story. I love a good paranormal romance, and this was such an amazing story. The plot twists and turns kept me guessing what was coming next. I'm really loving this author and can't wait to read more, and I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I don't even know what to say without giving away spoilers, and I just can't! This story is simply amazing, actually the entire series is outstanding! I couldn't get enough, and I noticed a subtle hint that there might be more to come...🤞 her's hoping!
i'm lovin' the shifter stories. i'm lovin' the series. i'm lovin' the babies, both unborn and just born. i cried for obergeron and his perceived lost love and laughed at all of the mating pairs; so much happiness mixed with the uncertainty. good, good story.
Well written and characters are really great. Awesome when you read shifter stories where they make peace and work to help each other. Enjoy a good read and a good series
very good story.. love these bears, family and friends.. the storyline is entertaining and keeps you wanting more.. the characters are sexy sweet and amazing. love it
I have been reading my way thru these great quick reads. This series is an excellent investment of your time and money when you need a nice easy escape!
still some copyediting issues but I enjoyed the alpha couple and the conspiracy and skulduggery. I think the one villain was just subtle enough but the other villain was just... not present enough
I enjoyed reading t g else stories, but I enjoy more shifter and more erotic Story. The story was good but I want more in the development of the relationship. I like this author so I will look for more stories by her.
I gave this Book a rating of 5 ✩’s Title: Loved by Alpha Wolf Series: Shadow Claw Book 3 Genre: Paranormal Shifter Romance Author: Sarah J. Stone Format: Kindle Edition Published on: March 6, 2017

Lots of intrigue and romance as well as some sexy scenes made for a great story.
How did Nina not know that Hill was the traitor or that Payton was the reason why Diana was kidnapped. Oh well all in all I'm glad Gael is healing nicely.
I loved this book. Fergus lost his mate 10years ago . Diana was kidnapped and kept prisoner where she was raped, abused and skinned. This story is highly entertaining , troubles, sex, and romance. Brilliantly written
Dang what a good book that was. I love books about the paranormal. And I am totally hooked on books by Sarah J Stone, they are quick reads, but they are so in depth and full of surprises, this book is extremely well written and thought out. Hell the whole series is.
This book is about Fergus our favorite wolf. I love how he really irritates the big burly bear shifter just by talking to Luke’s mate. Fergus has been alone for 10 years now, his mate was taken from him and he had to forage on. But with recent information he has found she is not dead as he thought and his Diana is still alive, but man ten years of cruelty that has been done to her, I could not imagine what that would do to a normal person. Thank god she is not normal. Actually she is something beond that. But she has no Idea who she or Fergus is. Her memory is gone and when you find out who caused it, it will shock you. And who is behind all these missing shifters. I love how strong and fierce she is. So ready for the next book,
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
This was a fabulous story of love, suspense, betrayal, and a general understanding of the dynamics in the paranormal. Fergus was an empty shell thinking his mate was long dead only to find out she still lived. How could that be when he found her pelt? Well, seems that Diana being who she was meant she was very different from others indeed. When Fergus was given a lead, he only knew he had to follow it, but after ten years....could it really be true? And so the adventure of rediscovery begins since once he finds Diana she doesn't remember him and anything else for that matter. What soon comes to light is that she had used her innate powers to not only make those who captured her forget, but it also worked on herself. Within the story it comes about that the betrayal came from within the pack, only when Fegus and Diana returned....they all felt that she was suspect. Humans and Shifters are at war. How did our furry community solve the problem? You'll want to find out for yourselves. The action and surprises that happen along the way to the HEA will astound you with the whole "who done it". I was taken totally by surprise, and this is exactly the type of story I love to read since it continues to engage the reading trying to figure it out. Substance and heat is key to a good story teller. Stone has that ability.
Only 22% of the book... One would think that a story this short would be lacking.... Well this is NOT the case... It was great... Had everything you need... Character development? Check.... Drama? Check..... And a plot out of this world.... I couldn't put it down... I love Sarah's books.... You never see it coming... Not until it is right in your face... Then you have to read it again and you still like OKAY
About a female shifter who is a council member and her mate who is Alpha. She gives up memories to protect her pack and mate for ten years. They are really after her mate
