Pros: - Recipe Index - Not a lot of exotic/foreign recipes I wouldn't make. - Has instructions and tips for IP beginners. Has some common mistakes that newbies often make. - Only books approved by the Instant Pot company are allowed to picture the cooker on the cover.
Cons: - Not well formatted. Recipes begin one after another. One will end in the middle of the page, then the next begins. - No photographs. - No cooking time charts for different types of foods, especially meats and grains/rices. - The index in the back wasn't linked and didn't have page numbers. - Some of the recipes had a title and directions that called for an ingredient that wasn't listed in the Ingredients List for that recipe. - Some serious editing needs to be done to correct the problems and the Kindle edition needs to be re-posted on Amazon. - Ingredients such as 'coconut aminos' that have no explanation as to what they are.
I have a very mixed opinion about this cookbook. I really did like his recipe selections, which is why I gave it three stars. (I would buy the pricey paperback to have on hand if I could be assured it had the mistakes corrected.) I must say that I am disappointed that Instant Pot approved a cookbook that needed so much editing.
Luckily, this is available through Kindle Unlimited at this time.
