As I read this novel, I felt as if I knew these characters, only they were put in a different settled. The author is expert at developing realism. The reader becomes part of the action because it is written so authentically. Hope to read more of this author.
My first western audiobook, felt like I'm watching an Hollywood movie. The performance where amazing truly Hollywood perfection. I only wish it was longer but it was enjoyable. If you want to feel at the Wild West this book will do it for you, everything is included, law man, Texas rangers, bars horses and a perfect descriptions, not to mention each person voice and accent, really was done beautifully only wish it was longer, I guess the author wanted it to be as long as a movie and he sure got it right. If you like westerns you'll like this book, it's done just right.
Texas Rangers hunting a group of Native Americans for a series of raids and other killings. It isn't what you think as you follow the plot, which isn't what you think. Lots of fast moving action, shoot outs wounded town's people. The ending isn't an ending, kinda leaves you in a lurch..could be better, unless there's a follow-up of the three Texas Rangers and the semi-elusive scalawag, BILLY FINN😎 These aren't separate western tales..it's one western tale/adventure, again the ending is left to YOUR imagination..
